Positiv: Food on NCE-LIS Portgalia flight was surprisingly good for an express carrier.
Negativ: TAM cancelled our connecting flight to EWR and put us on a flight going the next day, arriving 24 hrs later, even though there were seats available on earlier flights. Agents were indifferent, no one would help and said to go stand in a line 100 people long at a xfer desk. Worst airline service ever

Positiv: the flight was an hour late the crew knew nothing they even thought my arrival time was departure time on the boarding pass they didn't help when you get off to tell you how the airport works and everyone went upstairs instead of outside to a bus we all missed our flights and now we are standing in

Negativ: Air Portugal is poorly organized and inefficient. We had a 9 hour delay in Lisbon. I will avoid air Portugal in the future. The Lisbon airport is outdated and incapable of handling the traffic. Overall a miserable experience.

Negativ: Boarding closed 20+ minutes before the flight was scheduled to depart. Apparently because we needed to shuttle to the actual plane. A warning would’ve been nice! Almost missed the flight because of this.

Negativ: My bags didn't make the flight and still awaiting the status of my belongings. Customer service promised an update once the bags arrived and failed to do so. Called and they have no update as when my bags will be delivered.
Negativ: Read above, I missed the flight due to TAP and the next flight connection which I wasn’t even supposed to have due to TAP. THEY OVERBOOKED AND DELAYED US ON PURPOSE TWICE AND WOULDNT TELL US ANYTHING AT THE AIRPORT. I have flown hundreds of time and by far my worst experience.
TAP Economy Flight
Positiv: Very comfortable seating on the Embraer 190 - Economy Class. These planes have good overhead luggage room too.
Negativ: Should explain luggage fees at time of booking.
Efficient, friendly, professional
Positiv: Snack unexpected and quite delicious. No complaints. Short uneventful flight.
Negativ: No movies
Computer system down resulting in trauma in boarding.
Positiv: The flight was fine, although delayed by late arrival of plane.
Negativ: Computer breakdown at checkin caused major anxiety. Problem was resolved and everyone got checked in.

Baggage not included on international flights...
Positiv: Flights were good, staff were friendly, they gave us a cute gift bag for our newborn that actually has cool stuff in it we will use.
Negativ: We were charged almost $200 at checkin for our baggage (one bag per passenger, each under 10 kg). I had assumed bags would be included because this was an international flight. If I had factored in $200 for bags in our prices, I might have selected a different airline.
Negativ: Flight delayed by 1h 15min, When we landed at 1am at Lisbon airport, the airport was deserted, still they didn't go to a gate but rather had to bus us in. Then they bused us to a door that was the furthest away from the exit, so, we had to walk across the whole empty airport at 1:20am. Miserable.
Negativ: Our tickets were economy class Y for all of our flights, and we each checked a bag free on the outbound trip. But, returning we had to pay 170 euros for our 2 checked (1 each) bags. TAP (Air Portugal) in Toulouse said our outbound flights were "Basic" fares while our return flights were "Discounted" fares. Discounted fares do not include checked bags while Basic fares include 1 free checked bag. We paid $3,106.36 for the round trip for both of us, which hardly seems like a discounted fare, before paying an additional 170 euros on the return flight. I will be looking into filing a Class Action suit trying to recover all overcharges on behalf of all passengers.

Negativ: Didn’t connect to entertainment.
Negativ: They cancelled my flight and booked me a flight almost 2 hours earlier without any notification (luckily I got to the airport early to begin with). I had to rush through security, only for the flight to then be delayed an hour
Luggage charge not mentioned on Kayak,s webpage or Portugalia,s.
Positiv: The flight
Negativ: Many people got the same treatment. We had to pay twice the amount because we were at the airport and did not purchase the fee on line. Agent said Portugalia changed their bag policy months ago but not their website. We would not have chosen Portugalia if we had known about their current luggage policy. We were deceived.
Lisbon to Toulouse
Positiv: Older plane - had more knee room. Nice crew.
Negativ: Food was like cardboard.
Positiv: 30 minute flight, but still got snack and coffee. Friendly crew, Announcements in Portugese and English.
Negativ: Weaving down the runway on take off.
car rental via kayak SUCKED
Positiv: I do know Lisbon and all good
Negativ: I have booked a car together with the flight over your site. On arrival I got told my car is gone and I have to not only pay for the lost car but also, for the other car wich was instead of about 26 euros 4 days ANOTHER 150 EUROS . There was no option to change the pick up time when booking the rental car over your site. so I booked the car for mid day as bern written and arrived 21:00 and the car was gone. I do want to have this case to be reviewed by you and I do expect a response with solution ! Regards Sicco Schmidt

Flight delayed by 6 hours
Positiv: Plane and staff were nice but ended up arriving at hotel at 3 am so didn’t get any value from first night away
Negativ: Our flight was immediately cancelled due to a late check in. The rest of our flights on the reservation were cancelled and they could do nothing for us because all the flights that day were overbooked. I could not understand how flights on later days were effected by the situation.
Negativ: No entertainment cannot answer that question

Negativ: They woke us up at 1am for breakfast and the process to check a bag was awful. Spent over 2 hours just trying to check my bag
Not the best experience!
Positiv: The plane was very comfortable with a good amount of leg room and seats that can recline. The cabin crew were lovely.
Negativ: We queued for 40mins to check in and we were there 3 hrs prior to our flight. No explanation was given by the member of staff as to what was happening at the time which didn’t help. We were also delayed by 30mins on departure due to ‘missing passengers’ and eventually took off without them. We did make up the time inflight but it was disappointing and frustrating.
Noch nicht in Berlin

Positiv: the trip was pleasant !
Negativ: I flew with Tap Partugalia and my luggage was opened somewhere along the way. My gift for my child was stolen. Ugly ! Very ugly !! I got home, I unzipped my bag and I do not have a pair of sneakers that were a gift for my baby and some other sweets, my luggage was half empty! The face of my disappointed kid broke my soul, that should not have happened.
Most of the time late but never says sorry!
Positiv: There was nothing to like exceptionally. Food and crews behavior was alright.
Negativ: My both flights from Lisbon to Dusseldorf and Dusseldorf to Lisbon were late. They did 1 hour late to reach Lisbon from Dusseldorf on a nice weather, and my boarding for the next connecting flight to JFK,NYC was closed. They gave me the boarding ticket for the following morning flight at 11am and a voucher to stay to a hotel+taxi fare for that night. Unfortunately, when I reached the airport next morning, I understand from the airport flights schedule screen that the TAP Airlines did mistake again. Though their boarding pass said that my flight would be to New York, but it was actually to Newark,New Jersey. I was so tensed and annoyed. When I talked to the TAP airlines service, one of the lady first forcefully said that, Newark is in New York. When I repeatedly explained her that it is not New York and actually in New Jersey, then instead of saying sorry, the women asked me with an aggressive attitude that whether I want to go Newark or not! Then I clearly said her that, "I am supposed to go to JFK and I missed my flight because of your flight's fault and delay! I will go to JFK and I need food arrangement as the next flight is again 8hours later." The lady called someone on the phone and then finally changed my boarding tickets to JFK, New York and gave me a 10euro voucher for food but again with a annoyed face to me. This airlines is really horrible. I never had such horrible experience. No one have a simple manner to say sorry for their mistakes instead they show aggressive attitudes.
Vegetarians shouldnt use TAP Airlines
Positiv: Boarding was great, especially because we had a 1.5 yesr opd baby and they priority boarded us. Thank you for that.
Negativ: When handing out food they only had Turkey and Ham sandwiches. Wepaid thebsame amount as anyone else did for that flight but werent abkento eat anything on any of the TAP flights. Ive never heard of an airline not having an option for vegetarians. Also my wife was nursing our baby so she really needed to eat something. The crews response was “no sorry all we have is ham and Turkey. Did you want one of these options?” Unfortunately we wont ever board a TAP airline unless the price is steller and wehave enough time to bring our own food.
