Positiv: Seat was comfortable & cabin crew was very attentive to our needs.
Negativ: 1. Unloading baggage in Richmond took over 20 minutes, and the plane was an Embraer biz jet. That's unsatisfactory. 2. The total flight time, including taxi and takeoff, was over 3 hours but all we were served for food was a cheese plate. For first class air fare we should at least have gotten a sandwich or wrap.
Positiv: Excellent ground and aircraft staff.

Negativ: I paid for an entire seat and only got use of half of it since the man next to me took his and half of mine. I was extremely uncomfortable. He should have to buy 2 seats. Because everyone is so PC I get to pay full price for half of a seat.

Negativ: The pilot could have shown up on time so that the flight would not have been delayed. If certain seating classes of passengers do not get permitted a carry-on that needs to be communicated better. I had to check a bag that contains over $5000 worth of computer and photography equipment.

Negativ: 191 minute delay due to swapped equipment and change in crew. Would have been faster to drive!

Positiv: The crew at the boarding gate was very helpful. The plane is very comfortable and spacious.
Negativ: Let people with a correspondance board first given the delay so that we can have close by room for our bags in the head compartments and don’t have to waste PRECIOUS time at landing. We had again a delay. 2 flights to get to our destination, 2 flights to come back, all 4 with United, ALL 4 delayed.
Positiv: Departed and arrived on time.
Negativ: Seat pitch continues to be terrible. Throw out a row and give us one extra inch. Plane was only about 2/3 full.

Negativ: Inbound flight was late and thought I was going to be late on my connection. Ran across ORD to get to new gate and plane had not arrived yet. United app up updated about 30 minutes later saying flight was delayed.
Positiv: Landed ahead of schedule, bags make up quickly.
Negativ: No PSA Pre at this small airport.

The Worst Customer Service in almost 2 Million Miles Flown with Americ
Positiv: Flight attendant on the flight that was almost 4 hours late tried to cheer people up.
Negativ: 4 hours late! Missed connection at DFW! No staff to assist with wheelchair request at DFW! No staff to assist with lodging at DFW! Rudeness in rebooking, rudeness next morning when wheelchair request did not transfer to next morning's flight! The worst experience I've had on American in years (and after almost 2 million miles flown with them).
Positiv: Just about average.

Successful Flight switch
Positiv: When my flight was delayed, I was able to switch to another flight in a calm, efficient way. With pending bad weather, the flight was smooth and got us home earlier than my original flight and beat the storm!
Negativ: got the toilet row which is always bad.
attendant dawdled and was not able to serve the back of the plane ...
Positiv: I like that I didn’t have to stay overnight at airport like the last two times my flight was canceled.
Negativ: I didn’t like that my flight was delayed for more than two hours. I didn’t like that I was not given an option to get home on any other flights I called customer service for help to no avail.
Negativ: Departed on time, but then returned to the airport with maintenance issues. Took about 90 minutes to find another plane and depart again. United did offer a $50 certificate for future flights (good for one year) due to the maintenance issue.
A decent flying experience
Positiv: An adequate flight with few issues but nothing outstanding about the service.
Negativ: Wish there was more leg room and rest rooms in the cabin. Checking in was quick but there were no smiles and minimal assistance from crew.

Positiv: Seats are large and comfortable. In flight wifi is fast and dependable, and the service from the crew was impeccable. United will continue to have my business, as its passengers are treated with respect and not as a burden.
Negativ: I do not have any complaints about the SAT to Houston. Outstanding service.
Negativ: Second time between EVV and ORD. First time going to Vegas through these airports, the flight had to be cancelled due to maintance issues. Delayed for over 7 hours to get to Vegas, sucked tremendously bad. Flight back home, same thing . This time they had an alternative plane to give us but delayed for over an hour until they declared the original plane dead and another one given. So FML. I just want to get there and back without maintenance problems, not weather, not nothing, plane broke twice on the same trip.

Negativ: The attendant at the gate was the rudest woman I have ever met at any airport. Her manner was abrupt and her tone was condescending and impatient due to the fact that I was carrying a musical instrument which qualified as a second bag and was therefore subject to another fee. The economy check-in - paying $30 per checked bag plus $25 for an additional carry-on - is a racket. The original ticket price was no deal, and the additional baggage fees increased the cost to more than the price of the overpriced economy plus tickets, with an added dose of rudeness at the gate.
