We were told that people with boarding passes of the original flight date had to wait for more recent passes. This led many to think that they would be kicked off the flight after waiting 24hrs. Once we did finally board we found that they had made a mistake and had to deboard a passenger resulting in an extra hour delay"

Negativ: "On my way from Chicago to Singapore, they had an old plane and the business class was mediocre at best. The seats were uncomfortable. They were stacked side by side and did not have a "personal pod" formation which in my honest opinion is quite a waste of thousands of dollars you paid to travel. Additionally, the entertainment was just okay. There were not too many great options of movies and for the old plane, the screens were really bad."

With the Korean airlines the economy comfort seating was not an option but then actually not needed since the leg room was quite adequate. The blankets and other amenities for the flight were a nice touch with the blankets being very nice and cozy."

We thought arriving at the airport 2 and 1/2 hours prior to flight plenty of time for checking in but had to scramble to get to flight in time. I understand this carrier needs to cater to a broad cultural and geographic audience, but I think they make it too complicated. Giving meal service a decidedly Japanese angle results in main courses that are mush, and sides that are OK. Good yogurt, decent fruit, delicately prepared salads, delicious cookies and hagen daz are pretty simple and make the meals fun. (especially since chop sticks are always included), but the ovens turn the main courses into a stinky and kinda nasty thing. I wish they would simplify."

The staff was great. The food really wasn’t good

Well, I didn’t like much. The staff didn’t have any beverages except for coffee and water and they never came by. The food just sucked. There was no entertainment at all.

Even worse: chaotic deplaning with one crew member telling passengers to deplane and another yelling at them in the bridge for doing so. A mess of lines trying to get a new boarding pass for a rebooked missed connection—at the front of the line the agent said oh, you need to wait in this other line. Agents had no clue where to direct passengers and gave incorrect directions that necessitated more waiting. No updates to new flight time in the business class lounge. Once the flight was in the air, service was terrible. Attendants would ask for orders, then never bring them or bring the wrong thing."

The newer planes had a fantastic touch screen entertainment system. The seats on the newer planes were much more comfortable and roomy"

Die First Class von Emirates ist sagenhaft. Kann ich nur schwerstens weiterempfehlen. Die Kabinen, Toiletten/Duschen, das Personal, Essen und Onboard-Unterhaltung wird man nur schwer toppen können.

After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more.
