This made the cabin very bright and a difficult environment in which to sleep. Too much advertising before the on board videos, but otherwise content was good."

Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."

Positiv: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Positiv: "Der Flug ist zwar verspätet gestartet, aber die Piloten haben die Verspätung fast wieder rausgeholt. Das Essen war genial und vor allem Metallbesteck in der Economy, wo es sonst nur Plastik gibt. Dazu eine gute Getränkeauswahl. Der Rotwein war sehr lecker."

Negativ: "Noise of serving some people dinner in middle of night interfered with sleep. Deep dip South meant no internet for much of the flight lots of noise and inconvenience trying to fix Tvnz for (rude) lady in front"

Es hat mehr wie 12 Stunden und vielen Fehlinformationen gedauert, bis wir über unseren Weiterflug informiert wurden! Bei Problemen ist die Staff endlos überfordert"

Positiv: "The plane was spacious and we had really good seats , next to the toilet and wall in front of us. Super, as we were traveling with a toddler and he was able to sit on the floor in front of us and play with his toys. Food came out promptly and was tasty. Loved the goodies for the kids, little blanket and scotch pad."
Negativ: "The delay in boarding! It’s hard work when traveling with a toddler."

Positiv: "Noch nie so einen angenehmen Flug gehabt, riesig viel Platz in Economy und das Essen war hervorragend. Emirates ist von nun an meine erste Wahl."

Negativ: "30 passengers on a 60 seat plane. We should have been spaced out due to the Coronavirus, but NO. We reallocated seats which had us all jammed up the front and back with rows of empty seats in between. Not good enough Qantas! I asked to change and the cery pleasant hostess said no we were NOT allowed. I do NOT understand this."

Negativ: "Unfortunately there was a delay in boarding, would have been nice if they announced that earlier as they knew that the plane arrived late... Also plane was fully booked and I only got a middle seat, but luck? This older Boeing 737 is quite noisy and it makes it difficult to understand the announcements Old screens for entertainment with bad quality"

Negativ: "The plane had small drop down screens every 4 or 5 rows which are totally inadequate for watching anything. gives no choice and poor sound quality (lag between vision and sound) Pork meal was some sort of tasteless slop in a cardboard box with rice and a green veg. It seem as if short flights are getting a raw deal with old planes and sub standard food, systems to save costs. If they cannot maintain a consistent level of standard across all their products let another provider in who can."

Negativ: "Cramped. Lunch was that revolting beef & kale pocket (again!). Highest a/f of Tiger, Virgin & QF, which is fine if it’s worth it, which it most definitely wasn’t."

Positiv: "Crew was excellent! Very friendly and attentive - entertainment selection was great and the plane stayed nice and cool which is really helpful for a 15hr flight - no one needs 300 sweaty people for 15 its."
Negativ: "That we were required to check our overhead bag because it weighed more than 15lbs. Meanwhile as we boarded nearly every passenger had an overhead bag that most certainly weighed more than 15lbs. Not sure what was going on there...also the seats are a little tight when reclined. Once the seat in front of me reclined back I had my knees in the back of the chair the entire flight and I am not a particularly tall person- made for a pretty uncomfortable 15hrs."

Positiv: "Managed to reach destination safely. Only taking about 8 hrs more than scheduled."
Negativ: "Flight delayed. The made boarded passengers disembark and wait for an unpredictable amount of time with no updates. Then finally we boarded then the service was very poor. For example they did not remove the dishes for about three hours after serving dinner. The last straw was that they diverted to Sydney instead of the final destination Melbourne as the crew was going over 20 hrs. With the diversion they saved about 45 min , but the exhausted passengers lost another 3 hrs in their already miserable flight. Also quantas NOT friendly for people traveling with kids.... BEWARE."

Positiv: "Boarding was smooth and easy. Food and service on board was excellent. No hassle with baggage or hand luggage. Comfortable and able to use my One World Status and earn miles."

Negativ: "Mainly the lack of leg space"

Negativ: "Checking process could use some improvement; LAX check-in counter staff was NOT customer oriented; got the feeling that either they hate the job and had a bad day?"

Positiv: "The A380 is pretty good for soaking up the typical bumps of air travel. This flight was the first where the lamding was so soft that the plane didn't jolt on landing. It made noise like we'd touched down, but the ground effect glide was perfectly choreographed by the crew. Nice job."
Negativ: "There was an exceptionally narcissistic young man from China behind me who stood up and complaoned during rollout that he couldn't recline his seat. The crew suggested I relocate to a better seat. That was very nice and thougtful."

Positiv: "Staff was very accommodating"

Positiv: "I got to my destination safely and on time. Food and service were above average."

Positiv: "The interior of the seats a very nice. QANTAS blankets and cushions are comfortable. I also like the little drop down net under the seat for you feet to rest in. The QANTAS flight staff are great. I also like that they don't go down the aisle with trolleys a lot (just for the meals) and that they just come around with jug and cup for drinks."

Positiv: "Overall, one of the best international flying experiences I have ever had."

Negativ: "I booked through justfly and then that flight was cancelled and they put me on a United flight to SFO and changed my seating to a middle seat, when I had paid for a window seat. They would do anything to change it back or refund me my money."

Negativ: "Late again"

Positiv: "Big, safe plane. The pilot striving to land us close to the originally-scheduled time, even though we boarded the plane an hour late. He did it! A++ to Qantas for providing a spigot at the back of the plane to refill water bottles, thus lessening the amount of plastic used."
Negativ: "I ordered vegetarian meals and they were TOO SPICY. Being served a flaming hot tomato curry and spicy potatoes for BREAKFAST was ridiculous."

Positiv: "Great selection of entertainment. Good pillows."
Negativ: "They let us know by email little before departure that there would be a delay of 1h 15 min in our arrival to London. This made me uneasy from the very beginning that I would lose my London-Luxembourg flight. The crew in the boarding gate, only after much insisting, said they would make a note so that someone from Qantas would wait for me and help me get my London-Luxembourg flight no problem, but in the next stopovers (Melbourne, Dubai), there was no sign of this. Also, the delay in the end was 2h 20 min - and I lost my flight to Luxembourg."

Positiv: "The crew had to restart the entertainment system four times the Boeing 747 was nowhere near as comfortable as the Airbus we flew over from Los Angeles on"

Negativ: "I was surprised that we were flying a different carrier than Emirates"

Positiv: "Friendly service."
Negativ: "Poor food not a proper meal on a 12 hour flight neither outbound nor return. IFE outdated"

Positiv: "The crew was outstanding to help with a defect entertainment centre. They really went out of their way to keep us happy and to solve the problem. Thanks a lot."

Positiv: "it was nice to get an early phone call about flight delay and given a food credit for the delay, pleasant check-in, smooth flight, take off and landing."
Negativ: "the poor boarding control and information. delayed boarding time and no-one from Qantas at gate until 45 minutes past the time scheduled on ticket and no communication of why nor when we would board. new passengers arriving were allowed to start getting in at gate before notifying us who had been waiting there to be told to get in or in what order. seat arm rest (between seat 58b and 58c) was wobbly. Entertainment movies need newer choices specially for people like me who can't sleep on long flights and have seen all this movies. where's the classical music?."

Negativ: "limit weight of roller carry on limited to 8 kg, though did not check weight of shoulder bags New Zealand immigration is intense with bio inspection - check that you do not have any nuts or other issues as took a long time to inspect packaged food bought at Sydney airport Prior to check-in, needed evidence of flight leaving New Zealand, not just confirm number - paper with actual ticket number"

Positiv: "I liked flying with Qantas, crew service was okay, food was okay, however, ticketing agents were very helpful during both departure and arrival."
