There were about 20 people on the flight. It was like getting business-class service from the crew.

Especially, when it comes to unexpected occurrences regarding test certificates and sudden new regulations. Not everything is always black and white and not everyone has the same capacity to afford rebooking flights or re-testing. Treatment of foreigners in general at the LAX airport, on my flight at least, were unprofessional and inconsiderate. I generally like flying with Japan Airlines but after what I have seen and experienced personally I’m not so sure it is still one of my number one airlines to fly with anymore."

Also at check in we were inline for 2 hours just to let us know we couldn’t fly out they should have a Monitor saying “ ATTENTION PASSENGERS IF YOU DON’T HAVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS IN HAND YOU CANNOT A BOARD.” So that people didn’t half to stay in line for so long."

They said they close the door like 20-30 mins which mean they were able to board everybody in just -2 to 8 minutes only. Amazing. No other flight available for one week because it’s christmas season. I’m not going to the detail of not having my passport (I never left my passport before). They are cheaper from competitors for a reason. No heart here at all. Accident is not acceptable."

Positiv: "EVA Airlines was a wonderful experience from the beginning all the way to the end. From checking in to receive boarding passes, boarding, stewardess, the food, everything was wonderful. They were always pleasant and had a smile on their face. When my trip was changed by the website (vayama) to fly back to the states, EVA Airlines went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care, placed on another flight, and made it home to get to work the next day. They didn’t have to take care of me, but the did and the professionalism is amazing! I’m very pleased with this airline and will fly with them again!"

Food unimaginative. A321 narrow-body - only one movie on main screen (inaudible but with Chinese-only subtitles) and no seat-back TV on a 3-hour flight. Overall not so good but another flight I took, widebody (A330) service, has seat-back TV and so is more tolerable."

Positiv: "I am frequent air traveler that logs about 100k miles a year and this is the first time I felt like writing a review about an airline. I traveled with my 4 year old son on this trip. Excellent service, high quality food options and flight amenities. I really enjoyed the food as did my son. My son left his backpack behind on the first leg and the airline staff retreived it and delivered it to the lounge in less than 15 minutes. I was astounded and had almost given up on seeing the bag again, given my experience with other airlines in the past. This is going to be airline of choice for future trips!"

Would not recommend any layover with this airline in hong Kong for less than an hour. Numerous phone calls from me to sort this out, which resulted on another carrier to Hanoi."

24 hour delay due to a crew member arriving 1.5 h late. People clapped for this? Obscene. Will never fly delta again. A simple error could have been resolved by holding connecting flights for 15 minutes. But no, not enough passengers to cross the 8-10 person threshold. Lost $800 due to this malfeasance. Never flying delta again.

Very cramped flight, overhead bins were all completely filled, and passengers had to fly with bags by their feet which was not very comfortable for me personally.
