I’ve never had an evening flight where you can’t buy a glass of wine. Not even a cookie. But it went downhill once the real airline, Jet able, switched us out for this inferior excuse. So ashamed of America’s airline service. We don’t need much. A seat. Ability to purchase a few convenient items. Pathetic beyond words, honestly. Make a seat that a human can fit in and stop listening to accountants with no concept of long term profitability. Sickening experience.

Enjoyed it

Flight delayed. Crew excellent. Airlines are struggling amid shortages of staff. Be prepared to have flights canceled or delayed.

Flights kept changing right up to the day before leaving—-finally requiring two connecting flights instead of one with all of us traveling alone to connect through a different city. The connecting flight changes were scheduled too close to the arriving flight time—-requiring another phone call and extremely long wait times to United. In all, we had to call United 6 times with flight changes THEY made. United and their partner companies (in our case Lufthansa) continually blamed the other provider for the scheduling problems. All flights we took on this trip were delayed. The flight staff was always good. The arrangements for the trip a nightmare.

The food could be better

I arrived to the LAX airport on time today and due the misdirection of the ticket attendant I wasn’t able to select a seat, which I tried to do online approx 24 hours ahead of time but the site was not working or down. I’m a larger person with spinal impairments and unfortunately I was given a middle seat. This will undoubtedly cause significant pain during and after this long flight. I’m very displeased with this and I would like to request a credit or like compensation for my trouble and suffering. Advance thanks for your understanding. "

The heat fluctuated between too warm and too cold; had to put on and take off a fleece every 10-15 minutes. Chicken option for dinner rated spicy, so had to opt for pasta. No Asian options on flight from Japan; sad. So-so movie selection, controlling screen not very easy, screen often too dark. The list of movies in the United Magazine was incomplete and inaccurate. The size limits on carry-on bags and personal items was smaller than other airlines, unnecessarily so for the latter given the size of the space under the seat in front. United is inconveniencing customers without any justification."

What he said in terrible English was "That is not my business""I'm busy" So my daughter and I had to seat separately in order to seat next to aisle. UA will be my last choice to fly."

Negativ: "We brought wine since we are going on a cruise and had it wrapped safely. Long story short they didn't like that it wasn't used with bubble wrap and charged us 30.00 to wrap the bottles. Nowhere in their site does it say how it needs to be transported."
Negativ: "Der Flug wurde um 6-7 Stunden verschoben, so dass ich keinen Anschluss Flug mehr hatte um nach Hause zu kommen. Der Service vor Ort war sehr schlecht, es hatte viel zu wenig Personal. Ich hatte einen freundlichen Helfer am Schalter, aber sein Supervisor hat mich dann ohne zu Fragen einfach irgendwie umgebucht, z.B. ein Tag später, dann mit Übernachtung irgendwo. Die Flüge am selben Tag wurden zuerst gar nicht berücksichtigt, bis ich dann online selber gesucht habe. Schlussendlich hat mir ein Mitarbeiter der Lufthansa geholfen noch einen Flug am gleichen tag zu bekommen. Mein Gepäck ist bis jetzt 48h später noch nicht aufgetaucht. Gesamthaft für United ein sehr schlechter Service!!!"
