Über die Verzögerung wurden die Gäste erst durch eine SMS informiert. Es dauerte dann ca. 30 Minuten bis die Dame am Gate sich eine erste kurze Ansage abgerungen hat. Das Boarding dauert schließlich auch unendlich lange/ Maschine war komplett ausgebucht. Besser wäre gewesen, von hinten nach vorne die Maschine zu füllen, nicht kreuz und quer durcheinander, bis jeder dann sein Gepäck verstaut hat - das kostete zusätzlich Zeit."

Negativ: "Im Gegensatz zu meinen bisherigen Flügen mit der Lufthansa in der Business Class war diesmal eine Flugbegleitung für 12 Passagiere alleine zuständig, was bei zwei Kleinkindern und einem "anspruchsvollen" Passagier bereits zu einer ansatzweisen Überforderung geführt hat (Essen und Getränke wurden äußerst zeitverzögert gebracht, Schwimmweste und Anschnallgurt für Kleinkind wurde in zwei Gängen gebracht und der Gurt erst kurz vor der Startbahn der Mutter übergeben. Eine Whiskey Sorte war nur für ein Glas vorhanden und war bei einem rund neunstündigen Flug binnen 15 Minuten vergeben. Äußerst ärgerlich, wenn die gebotenen Alternativen keine sind."

Negativ: "Maybe US is ahead, but my experience with 2 terminals at Hanover and Frankfurt was that information exchange isn't good. Gate number was available at the last hour or so, which then got changed. Not just this flight. many flocks of people were running around to find their new gate... also as I mentioned climbing several stories of stairs with carry-on isn't fun! Not on this flight, but on my initial departure from US to FRA, monitors said go to Gate B. I got in line for Gate B as there was some security check, then we were told there was another B?!@ We had to go down and take the bus for that...written.. No where!"

Negativ: "Das Boarding lief total chaotisch ab, erst wurden wir zu Fuß über den halben Flughafen geleitet, am Gate mussten wir lange auf einen Bus warten und dieser fuhr dann wiederum über den halben Flughafen zurück bis ganz ans Ende wo das Flugzeug stand. Im Flugzeug war es bereits sehr voll, so dass wir nicht unbedingt freundlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurden, dass wir eventuell nicht unser gesamtes Handgepäck mitnehmen können. Schließlich fand sich doch noch ein Platz in den Staufächern der Business Class, mit dem Hinweis, da hätten wir aber nochmal Glück gehabt."

Now I have opened a complained with Austrian and they haven't responded so far."

At airport HAJ I've heard that's usual that baggage can't arrive in one our! So I didn't understand why this flight was offered by KLM!"

Negativ: "Die Bestuhlung der Business Class in der Boeing 777 ist unbequem. Es gibt wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Anordnung ist 2-3-2, und die Fensterplätze und der mittlere Sitz hat keinen Zugang zum Gang. Man muss bei diesen Sitzen die Nachbarn belästigen. Finde ich gelinde gesagt suboptimal."

Negativ: "Flug kommt Mitten in der Nacht in Paris an. Da die Verbindung zum Anschlussgate noch geschlossen war, mussten wir formal nach Frankreich einreisen um zum Gate nach München zu kommen. Dort darf man sich im ungeheiztem Gate noch mindestens 2 Stunden die Zeit vetreiben."

Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."

Negativ: "Didn’t have the meal I ordered Got in 30 min early but no gate for us. We waited over 80min on tarmac to deplane I paid extra for an exit seat but there was no indication when I did that there would be walls for armrests and that made it very uncomfortable for me"

Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "Started off by being 40 mins delayed. Not bad, compared to the 4 hour delay I had going to Vancouver. Flight was super uncomfortable. Upon arrival to Toronto. The gate had ice on it. So we had to wait in the plane for over an hour before we could get to a gate and off the plane. And then the entire plane of people (300-400 people I believe?) had to wait for our bags to come out for TWO HOURS! Meanwhile flights from Vancouver that we’re supposed to leave after us , left before us, got there before us, and got their bags before us. Horrible trip. I could not believe how unprofessional and unprepared Air Canada and the Toronto airport was during the holidays!"

Positiv: "Many airlines have code share flights but it is better to buy ticket directly from the original airline as they keep on ignoring the code share flight bookings"
Negativ: "Till last moment we were kept hanging if we will board or not as no seat number was allocated. I believe it was as we were from the code share airline not the real one"

Positiv: "Seats were fairly comfortable. Crew on flight from Toronto to San Jose were friendly. Crew on home flight very aloof."
Negativ: "Did not know you should pre book food. They ran out. Very frustrating. Said they had breakfast food and snacks. All that was left by the time they got to our seats were chips and nuts. And they didn’t seem to care. Entertainment worked better on way back. Could not get it going on way there, even with crew assistance. Line ups for check in in San Jose were crazy. Over 40 minutes."

Positiv: "I got upgraded to first class!"

Negativ: "No TV on plane for a 9 hour flight. No one wants to watch entire movies on their phone. Not comfortable. Seats are cramped and could feel the knees of the passenger behind me pressing into my back for 9 hours."

Positiv: "Das Boarding und die Durchführung waren super. Das Personal sprach Französisch. Nicht alles wurde auf Englisch wiederholt. Getränke wurden NUR EIN MAL angeboten. Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."
Negativ: "Kaum Beinfreiheit. Essen nur gehen Geld."

Negativ: "We were told our flight was delayed due to weather, and then due to mechanics. The weather was fine in both new york and toronto those days, and other toronto flights left on time. we ended up being delayed 6 hours in the airport, and other flights still went out ahead of us. furthermore, because our flight was delayed, they didn't seem to prepare for the new departure time, and we were held up for almost an hour on the runway before being able to take off, and almost 30 minutes on the runway once we landed too. better planning and customer service needs to be required in these situations."

Negativ: "No inflight entertainment or food and really small seats. Yeah, you can pay extra for an ipad or to get food, but for most decent flights these days you get at least something to eat for free. Especially on a 7 hour flight from US to CAN. My knees nearly touched the seat in front of me. It wasn't that small of a plane, i just think they really wanted to pack us in. If they removed a row or two and gave everyone just an inch more space how much would that REALLY set them back?"

Entertainment was rated low because it was a short flight it really should have been an N/A because I didn't use it. Not sure how to fairly rate that. No food as far as I could tell."
Negativ: "2 hour delay, then sat for another hour or so after being the last to board for fueling and waiting for ground crew."

Positiv: "Flight was not full and reservstions mde some time ago but we were seated several rows apart. inexcusable!! Several others were also seated apart so we talked among us and people moved around so that family and couples were together, no thanks to airline. Service and food were second class at best."

Negativ: "I was annoyed to find that Air Canada has invented special terminology to justify charging for a single checked bag on an international flight. At the check in counter, the representative explained to me that Canada is "trans border" and not "international," so they don't offer a free checked bag. However, I was still required to present my passport and go through customs, and I'm pretty sure I came out of the plane in a different country than I started in, so I conclude that they are splitting hairs to cheat customers out of a standard service."

Negativ: "We had to pay for all of our checked baggage. maybe next time we'll fly westjet. Or not bring any clothes with us. Very poor AIr Canada."

Negativ: "Check in process was slow and messy. Check in clerk I felt with was borderline rude. May want to consider a check in kiosk to speed things up. I stood in line for almost 40 minutes waiting to check in before I pulled out my phone and checked in online at that point I was only half way through the line. If the flight hadn't been delayed I might have missed it. Additionally once boarded the cabin door was closed the second the last person entered the plane. An announcement was made that we couldn't leave till everyone was in their seats. But enough time had not been given to the passengers to even get down the aisle before such a snippy comment about needing everybody seated was made."

Positiv: "When our flight was delayed 7 hours due to a maintenance issue, air canada did find another plane"
Negativ: "The plane was dirty, smelly, 7 hours late. We sat in the Tarmac for 4 hours with one bag of pretzels and a small water. Completely unacceptable. Never again."

Negativ: "About 80% of my flight consisted of noisy Spanish high-school erst returning from some trip in Canada. They were loud and obnoxious and ruin the peace on the plane. This was an overnight flight and they ruined any chances of falling asleep. The problem came from the fact that the flight attendants could keep them under control. They, in turn, got annoyed and gave generally subpar and unpleasant service."

Negativ: "No snacks served, only beverages. We could have at least received one bag of nuts/chips for the flight."
