Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."
Negativ: "First trip with AerLingus. It was late by 40 minutes. When we finally boarded they made a comment we were right on time when we most definitely were not. Then on the flight the only beverage service was almost non-existent because the flight attendants rush by rather than actually wanting to give anyone a beverage. Several people including me had connecting flights yet no one bothered to help us get to them on time. I barely made it to mine but several people probably did not as we got there 5 minutes before their flights were to take off."

Negativ: "First point of contact was incredibly rude. First she told me she couldn't find my reservation. Once she did, she gave me a lecture about my married name. Next she refused to let me take my carry on bag saying it was too large even though it fit on all flights to Montreal. Once I proved it would fit with the luggage sizer she had moved on to another customer and ignored me for 10 minutes while I stood there even though my boarding passes were printed. When I got to the flight, I found it could have been gate checked but there was no need as the flight was NOT FULL and my bag fit with no problem at all in the overhead bins. In 35 years of flying this was the worst experience I've ever had."

Negativ: "They had nothing together. My first flight was delayed so I got in late and my connecting flight was rescheduled for 5 hours later. Their "free meal voucher" for rescheduling amounts to one slice of pizza and no drink. The airport then lost my checked bag and kept me waiting in one room for 4 of those hours to where I was still rushing to catch my next flight. Air Canada then forgot to assign a plane to my new second flight so I waited another 2 hours to board. Once boarded, the airline made us wait another hour while they loaded bags, then unloaded some of the wrong bags thy put on. They then tacked 25 minutes in the wrong direction and we went all the way back. I have never seen so many people rushing the customer service desks because they missed their connecting flights, throughout the entire time I was stuck in Toronto. Additionally, their "in flight movie system" doesn't work unless you rent one of their iPads. It prompts you to download Java Flash player even if you already have it instead of asking to run it. Then once you allow it, you get a 1-2 second animation then the movie breaks. There are similar errors with their music and tv show features, I tried all of these in my laptop and phone."

After having a 3 1/2 hour layover, our plane was supposed to leave at 6:30 PM and kept getting delayed. One of the biggest frustrations was the lack of communication by the staff! We could see them at the counter where our gate was but no one would come out and talk to us! Our plane finally got off the ground at 8:30 PM!"

I guess its easy to make those decisions when he makes the call from some office via a phone and doesn't have to face customers. All other Air Canada employees we worked with were exceptional!!! Kudos to them."
Negativ: "Our flight was delayed 3 hrs from London. Once in Montreal the systems that Air Canada uses to correct the situation are horrible. There was no way we would be able to catch our rescheduled flight in the time it takes to deboard, go through customs, get bags, recheck bags, go through security. We didn't. We missed the next flight too despite the heroic efforts by the staff (excpetion - TSA security. They moved very very slow to the point that they seemed passive aggressive to our situation). This is the second time it has happened. I probably won't fly Air Canada again, if possible."
