Easy check in, excellent onboard service.
We had to run to catch our flight. An announcement should have been made that they would wait for us. When we were departing our flight from Hfx. There was commotion became the flight attendants asked for passengers to wait that weren’t connecting to another flight,a passenger yelled out for everyone to SIT DOWN that weren’t connecting. I feel that the air craft should be exited the same way as is boarded,by zones.Also,if people are connecting then those passengers should be exited first,an announcement to suggest that people wait DOES NOT WORK. So much for social distancing!

Negativ: "- I had to pay extra for lunch and (alcoholic) drinks. - The pasta was overpriced and tasted like nothing - At the destination we had to wait for 35mins in the plane, before we could get out."
Positiv: "The crew was amazing. The economic seat (I always prefer to select aisle seat) was OK for me."
Negativ: "I often prefer to take Air Canada flight for the departure to any international cities, because it hardly happened to have any cancelled AC flights during my Air flight dates in my past years trips."

Negativ: "fragte man sich leider auf diesem Flug. Keine Monitore mit den Infos zum Flug (wo sind wir, wie lange dauert es noch, etc...) Kannte ich so noch nicht. Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "I have flown Air Canada many times, and have never taken off on time. Most flights I have been on, were 30 -60 minutes late. Cabin service is usually minimal, lackadaisical, and indifferent. I would only fly Air Canada again as a last resort"
Positiv: "Alles gut, wie erwartet. Cool, dass Internet im Angebot war."
Negativ: "Klar, die Flieger werden immer enger... aber für die Umwelt ist es schon besser, wenn dafür weniger Flieger starten also beklage ich mich auch nicht so sehr drüber. Am Besten wäre es, wenn es mehr Züge gäbe für solche kurze Strecken."

Negativ: "Amenity kit in Premium economy sub par. Ear buds inadequate. Need noise cancelling headphones for the entire plane. On line "best price guarantee" is hogwash and completely untrue when tested."

Negativ: "They served frozen food."
Negativ: "Air Canada is always late in my experience. I always end up waiting at the gate for the inbound flight which happens to be late. It is so annoyingly dishonest, considering that the flight is announced as on-time up until minutes before the departure time. When all along they know the incoming flight is late. After we boarded the plane at origin, we spent 15 minutes at the gate and quite a bit on the runway. When nearing the DCA, the plane took a complete detour went near Baltimore and then Annapolis and then flew back to near Gaithersburg as if it was intentionally wasting time on the air. Upon landing in DCA we had to wait 15 minutes on the taxiway waiting for the gate to clear. The (one hour long) flight that was scheduled to land at 10:20pm landed just before midnight. Air Canada is awful. This happens every time I fly with Air Canada and their conduct is just cheap and dishonest."

Positiv: "Das Boarding und die Durchführung waren super. Das Personal sprach Französisch. Nicht alles wurde auf Englisch wiederholt. Getränke wurden NUR EIN MAL angeboten. Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."

Negativ: "Not thanking you guys enough. So!!! Thank you again"
Positiv: "Passengers don't have the right to put their seat back as soon as they get up in the air, and then push the seat back Everytime they move it get up. Do they realize that if they are watching something, you don't need to recline? I had someone in front of me that basically used their seat to almost hit me in the face Everytime they moved while I tried to do a crossword puzzle and then later eat dinner!"

Negativ: "Our flight was cancelled after already waiting through a 3.5 hour delay. The inbound flight was delayed due to weather, and as a result, there was no crew available for our flight. This left us stranded at Pearson at 3am with no Air Canada agents available for assistance. After a two hour wait on hold with Air Canada customer service, we were told the earliest flight we could get on was two days later. Unacceptable. We ended up having to buy tickets with WestJet. Weather delays are understandable. Not having sufficient customer service agents available for assistance nor having enough crew on call is inexcusable and incompetent."

Negativ: "It was horrible experience going through the Vancouver custom. Some one decided to random check a brown guy traveling alone. Okay, I get it. I give them credit for profiling me. But, I was very disappointed that they only know and follow the rules in their book. Dumping the luggage and wallet on the floor and then asked me to put everything back was not gonna help you find anything. They need to be bit smart and have some people skills. I mean a car salesman is smarter than this custom officer. I walked in for random screening with great respect for those officers but walked out with zero respect and maybe worse experience of my life. If you mistreat a innocent person just have a courtesy to say sorry or give them a stuffed canadian bear. We can understand!! One last thing for custom or border officers, treat the people the way you wanted to be treated."
Positiv: "Good leg space very comfortable sitting and entertainment television."
Negativ: "With an hour delay out of Paris due to waiting for missing aircraft flight documents to be completed and delivered to the airplane on the holding ramp, we ended up arriving in Toronto an hour late. With only an original connection time of 90 minutes, it was not possible for me to make it thru Canadian and US customs to the connection gate. I was to learn that no other connection to a Kansas City was available until much later in the afternoon / early evening. As a result, I ended up arriving in Kansas City 6 (six) hours later than originally scheduled, three quarters of the time it took to travel from Paris to Toronto. To say the least , I was not at all thrilled having lost that time."
Negativ: "lack of seat/leg room...."
Negativ: "Was put on standby for a flight I purchased a full ticket to, had to wait for an hour by the terminal to make sure I got a ticket, which meant I had no time to get any food. Would only take credit card on the plane so I went without eating all day. Headphone jack was broken, meaning tv was useless"
Negativ: "Flight was delayed"
Negativ: "waiting a long time for some one to take us down stairs in the wheelchair to go to wash room ,and to collect our suit cases, and there was no wheelchair at the Plane exit door we have walk half way before we get one part way again, that when we wait very long she have left me and walk down stair, until a nice lady came and take me and let me went to the washroom and get our suit cases and take us to our passenger pickup. Every thing else was good. Thank God for a safe flight to and from I love to fly with AIR CANADA CHARLES GRAY"
Positiv: "Comfort and Entertainment were great. They were punctual as well."
Negativ: "The overall checking process was horrible. Nobody to provide help in Mexico City. We ended up spending extra time on line even though we did online check-in. One of our bags never made it. Which was very frustrating since we were traveling with two kids and were the last to leave waiting for the bag that never made it. At Newark, the lady that handled our missed bag claim had little customer service skills. All she said was that it was common for stuff like that to happen. Just that experience might make this the first and last time I use Air Canada again."
Negativ: "Lack of entertainment . Unfriendly staff. Flight was long and crew did not ask passengers to close shades in order to sleep."

Negativ: "I was put in overbooking, and was concerned about not being able to get on the flight. Everything worked out fine in the end, but still did not appreciate this. Given the risk of not being able to board, I will likely not use this airline in the future."

Positiv: "My Flight was canceled without us getting any notification and causing major delays and headaches with NO offer for compensation to help e.g. with a $70 taxi we had to incur to get from DCA to IAD. Poor service"
