Flight delayed due to incoming flight problems. Slow boarding, no beverages on board, wanted to charge for coffee.

Leider wurde unser Gepäck vom Mumbai Flug nicht auf den Basel Flug gebracht, so dass wir ohne Gepäck in Basel ankamen. Auch wurde diese Information wohl erst spät nach Basel gebracht,da wir dort ewig auf unser Gepäck gewartet haben bis wir informiert wurden. Das trübt den ansonsten sehr guten Flug.

Only reason I did bad on food and entertainment was because flight was a short flight.

Food choices were rather poor. Pasta, which is what they seem to serve now in Economy was tasteless.

Auf die Frage in der Business Class, ob es ein bisschen wärmer gemacht werden könnte, da es von unten kalt zieht, nur die lapidare Antwort, das käme wahrscheinlich von der Aussentür und die Temperatur wurde nicht höher gestellt. Also ein Flugzeug, wo es durch die Tür zieht. Na, ja, schlimmer geht's eigentlich kaum noch.

This flight was nearly empty so there was plenty of room and no problems. Everything on time or early.

Zunächst wird bei der Lufthansa eine gegenderte Drohung ausgesprochen, nämlich, wenn die Gäste die Maske abnehmen sollten und sich den Anweisungen der Crew widersetzen sollten, würden die polizeilichen Organe am Bestimmungsort informiert. Das bringt schon mal "gute Laune" in die trotz 9 Mrd. Steuerzahlerstütze unveränderte Kabine. Die sieht dann auch so aus, als ob sie seit der letzten Stilllegung wegen Corona aus Kostengründen nicht mehr gereinigt wurde. Die Businessclass ist ohnehin eine Zumutung, nämlich die gleiche Bestuhlung, wie in Economy, nur mit einem leeren Sitzplatz dazwischen. Lufthansa sollte sich einmal ein Beispiel an Turkish Airlines nehmen, die die Zeit des Lockdowns genutzt hat, um für die Gäste ein Upgrade in Ausstattung und Verpflegung zu organisieren, die ihresgleichen sucht, aber bei der Lufthansa sicher nicht findet.

KLM is never consistent with services. Sometimes you get lucky with great comfort and other times you are forced to squeeze in a box for a seat. The food is always subpar and they have become so unfriendly when you need help. But hey, they are always on time and they have good connections.

24 hour delay due to a crew member arriving 1.5 h late. People clapped for this? Obscene. Will never fly delta again. A simple error could have been resolved by holding connecting flights for 15 minutes. But no, not enough passengers to cross the 8-10 person threshold. Lost $800 due to this malfeasance. Never flying delta again.

And, the surly, clueless Chicago-based gate agent was the coupe de grace in my search for a reasonable explanation after which I waited impatiently for this episode to conclude. But from the moment we boarded the flight attendant was unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked for help putting a heavy bag in the overhead compartment. She half-heartedly tried and then told me it "didn't fit". By simply turning it on its side, I was able to easily make it fit, but it was uncomfortable for me to have to do so while also holding my baby! The flight attendant then commented that I couldn't have the child in a carrier during the flight (something I am well aware of!). She also neglected to offer us a snack later on. Overall, she was rude and inconsiderate and made a difficult trip more unpleasant."

Better service

+ Es war ein angenehmer Flug trotz Verspätung. - Die Toiletten waren gehen Ende des Fluges absolut ekelerregend aufgrund von Unfähigkeit mancher Fluggäste anständig auf die Toilette zu gehen.

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

There would have been plenty of time to serve refreshments during de-icing. But refreshments and dismemberment of ear phones only began once the plane was airborne. There was not enough time to service all the passengers at that point. I'm not sure why Air Canada cannot at least give you ear phones when boarding. And why cannot refreshments be served during de-icing?"
Positiv: "Staff were great but Air Canada Rouge does not have pods in business class. The food was mediocre at best and there were many technical difficulties with the in-Air entertainment. Also, no wifi? It’s 2018."

Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."

On top of that they sent my bag to Buenos Aires which was the planes next destination. My bag was eventually brought to my home. Overall the experience with Air Canada has been horrible. And I lost 2 full days because of the airlines' delayed flights."

The next flight was more than three hours later - and this despite looking at our aircraft for another 10 minutes before it left the gate. We were told that the gate had been closed despite six of us on the same connection. When we asked about supper, we were given a $10 coupon - had some difficulty finding a place for dinner under $10 at Pearson."

Negativ: "Did not ear food or use the in-flight entertainment. Seats are TINY! As a person with very broad shoulders, I found myself literally wedged into a corner as to not bump the person next to me. These planes should not be 3 seater when they are designed for two."
Negativ: "The flight was delayed by 2 hours. After boarding, it was another hour before the flight took off. I was seated next to a family with 2 cranky children. I chose this flight just because it was supposed to arrive in Miami at a decent time. Ended up sleep deprived at work the next day."
Positiv: "The boarding was painless. We could board early since we were in Zone 1."
Negativ: "Not enough space for overhead luggage. The crew looked overworked and stressed. Had to ask the stewardess 3 times for the same order. The seats weren't really an upgrade, it was just a Window and Aisle seat with a table in between. The service was not any better than economy. The Upgrade didn't feel like an upgrade. We will definitely think twice before booking with Air Canada."

Enjoyed it

Flight delayed. Crew excellent. Airlines are struggling amid shortages of staff. Be prepared to have flights canceled or delayed.

Flights kept changing right up to the day before leaving—-finally requiring two connecting flights instead of one with all of us traveling alone to connect through a different city. The connecting flight changes were scheduled too close to the arriving flight time—-requiring another phone call and extremely long wait times to United. In all, we had to call United 6 times with flight changes THEY made. United and their partner companies (in our case Lufthansa) continually blamed the other provider for the scheduling problems. All flights we took on this trip were delayed. The flight staff was always good. The arrangements for the trip a nightmare.

The food could be better

I was told that with Layover I would receive my check in bag for Hotel stay. the attendant took a discription of my luggage for other united employees to tell me it would take 3 hours to retrieve my luggage. They didn’t even try to look for it or help me. Then what’s the point of taking my discription down? Now I have to stay at a hotel with nothing on me. So ridiculous and rude."

Wenn dann eine Stewardess helfen will mit einem kleinen Snack aber von einem Kollegin gebremst wird, dann finde ich das unverschämt!! "Wir machen keine Ausnahmen!""

Positiv: "Highly professional and exceptionally courteous service by the cabin crew. Professionally dressed. Organized and dilligent. Customer friendly. The way an airline owner and CEO would want to be represented to the paying customer by a frontline segment of his/her organization. Best UAL/Lufthansa experience ever for me."
Negativ: "The ‘third world’ arrival handling by IAD. Ragged transporters. No intercom service or effort whatsoever to advise pax of apparent problem at main terminal. Turned off transporter engine and left us on the tarmac breathing diminishing air in the module and wondering what was going on. Mobile passport service ‘not working’ at jam-packed immigration. Luggage retrieval frustrated by problems or incompetence and finally located at an undesignated conveyor area. No kudos to IAD. All kudos to Lufthansa/UAL. One Exception was my ‘by chance’ immigration agent who for the first time ever for me at IAD said “welcome home” as he waved me on."
Positiv: "Flug hat Minimumkriterien erfuellt. Puenklichkeit und Sicherheit. Getraenke wurden offeriert."
Negativ: "Ich bin klein und fand es beengend. Das überraschendste war aber das komplett fehlende Unterhaltungsprogramm. Nicht mal ein gemeinschaftlicher Monitor. Dies bei einem 4h Flug. Info über vorhandene Service( entertainment und food ) im Flug wäre wünschenswert."
Positiv: "Nothing"
Negativ: "Delayed flights leading to incredibly tight connection times, staff inconsistent with messaging re the source of the delay, zero compassion for customers, offering $700-$1,400 to get off the plane when you charge $200 to change a flight 2 weeks in advance is especially galling! Will not fly with United again whenever there is a viable alternative to my destination."

I compare them to hotel staff who are pleasant to greet and just try to make the trip/stay pleasant. Don't see it in United. I think it has regressed to almost like "robots"."

Positiv: "The basic economy check-in is a good idea. Especially to control the overhead baggage situation."
Negativ: "If you're going to have the basic economy ticket program, don't make me jump from Kiosk to Kiosk searching for a United Employee to help me when the yellow advisory screen pops up. I showed up 3 hours before my flight. There was no line. I had to wait 20 minutes for assistance. I can't imagine the amount of time to check-in closer to departure."
Positiv: "Guter Komfort und gute Beinfreiheit zu den Vordersitzen so dass man auch nach einem Langstreckenflug von München nach San Francisco entspannt ankommt."

Negativ: "The delay for mechanical issues was not well communicated, caused a two hour delay. No one could give an estimated time for delay, the first message said we were going to be put back in the waiting area and reboard once the issue was fixed and the next said it was a personal choice. During reboarding the miscommunication between the flight attendants was obvious because customers were asked for their tickets and almost interrogated if they were in the wrong seat."
