I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!"

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Coffee cups and plastic utensils, etc, stored in overhead bins so people at the back had to search for carry-on space elsewhere, again, without assistance from on board crew. Offered service only once and many were sleeping so didn’t get anything. The overall check-in process could be easier, as the app doesn’t always work as it should."

Agents at Toronto gate was not nice, which was unfortunate because all othr AirCanada agents were nice and flights were smooth."
Negativ: "Connecting flights were not convenient. First time AirCanada, and Kayak. Seemed I got a bad set of flights returning. Going was good. Got tricked. Suggeston of flights may have been available but did not know. Need more research in next trip. Agents, contracted agents at ticket counter in Atlanya, were very helpful. They were superve in helping me when a traffic accifent shut doen for 2 hrs and I was late on arriving at Atlanta airport."

Negativ: "multiple incorrect a/c notices by email containing incorrect information. Started with the confirmation of the original flight booking. It had the origin and destination mixed up but had the correct cities. That's impossible with the corresponding flight #'s. Called AC, they said; oh well. Then multiple notices in email of changes to times of depart/arrival/gates. Showing these email changes to A/ C Gate Staff, they said each of those 8 notices for departures or return flights was wrong info and they concluded; "oh well". They don't care, and they weren't interested in reporting the errors to IT people."

Negativ: "I was travelling with a 13 yr old and expected to be seated together when I booked. I didn't know I needed to pluck my seats if I didn't want to pay extra. The woman at boarding moved our seats, however, closer at boarding, which I thought was pretty considerate."

Positiv: "Since we arrived at the airport very early we asked about whether we could change to an earlier flight. The agent was extremely accommodating and confirmed us on an earlier flight with no additional charge. Bravo Air Canada!"

I was with about 100 people at a summer camp. The staff created a funny skit about AC, Dynamex (sp?) and the endless "your call is important to us" tape recording. I understand that flight plans must be canceled and changed due to weather, but AC relies too heavily on automated "service.""

Negativ: "It was a short flight, but it was still very cold. I didn't ask for any changes because of my previous experience, so I just wrapped up as well as I could and bore the chilliness. The crew was less than friendly."

We will definitely think twice before booking with Air Canada."

Negativ: "Flight was delayed over 4 hours due to Air Canada needing a mechanic to check and sign off on the tire tread on one of the wheels, the ground staff enforced the carry-on bag size arbitrarily and inconsistently, and the entertainment system froze up and reset itself at least 3 times on the flight. Apart from the captain, the rest of the Air Canada staff exhibited the usual bureaucratic and defensive behavior I have unfortunately seen multiple times before. They're expensive (with a nasty computer algorithm that raises the price by over $100 each time you browse flights. The first time I checked, it was $300+; by the 3rd time it was over $600. When I used a VPN, the price magically went down to $300 plus, which was still a lot) and the experience is generally unpleasant. I have to brace myself for their lack of common sense behavior every time I deal with them. If I didn't have to fly with them, I wouldn't."

Negativ: "LAX now buses people to the planes. We stood on the bus for 45 minutes and then drove for 10 minutes on an active taxi way. The crew for united just does not seem motivated anymore on any flight. Even in first class we were offered water only 2 on a 5 hour flight. The crew just sat in the front and looked at their phones. The food made me sick for two days - so it is better to just not eat it and bring your own. It is sad as I united used to be a great airline and now they just seem to focus on what new fee they can charge."

Negativ: "Security was overzealous. I didn't know the standards changed for how many ounces you could carry over three days. The normal ounces of liquid was no more than 4.0 ounces. I had no problem going through security with that amount of spray deodorant flying from IAW, Dulles. DFW airport security says the limit is no more than 3.4 ounces. So they kept my harmless deodorant. I need TSA to get on the same sheet of music worldwide. People don't have time or money to waste having to deal with different TSA standards everywhere they go."

Negativ: "Der Flug wurde um 6-7 Stunden verschoben, so dass ich keinen Anschluss Flug mehr hatte um nach Hause zu kommen. Der Service vor Ort war sehr schlecht, es hatte viel zu wenig Personal. Ich hatte einen freundlichen Helfer am Schalter, aber sein Supervisor hat mich dann ohne zu Fragen einfach irgendwie umgebucht, z.B. ein Tag später, dann mit Übernachtung irgendwo. Die Flüge am selben Tag wurden zuerst gar nicht berücksichtigt, bis ich dann online selber gesucht habe. Schlussendlich hat mir ein Mitarbeiter der Lufthansa geholfen noch einen Flug am gleichen tag zu bekommen. Mein Gepäck ist bis jetzt 48h später noch nicht aufgetaucht. Gesamthaft für United ein sehr schlechter Service!!!"
