Sadly! I had a Terrible experience. My daughter got super sick few hours before our departure and hospitalized. Unfortunately I couldn’t able to fly back to USA on that day. I did go to the airport and let them know that I have a serious emergency and can’t fly. Kayak didn’t help at all or made any adjustments to get a new date. I had to purchase new tickets. I’m so disappointed!

Everything was fine. This time, even though I didn't need it, my seat back reclined.

Really disturbing that only 2-3 people were masking in a flight full of maybe 80 passengers. The flight itself was okay.

Verspätet

Leider wurde unser Gepäck vom Mumbai Flug nicht auf den Basel Flug gebracht, so dass wir ohne Gepäck in Basel ankamen. Auch wurde diese Information wohl erst spät nach Basel gebracht,da wir dort ewig auf unser Gepäck gewartet haben bis wir informiert wurden. Das trübt den ansonsten sehr guten Flug.

I flew Tourist priority, it was great. The Indian vegetarian food was delicious.

Wie beim Hinflug auch beim Rückflug Verspätung von fast einer Stunde. Auf Nachfrage zunächst keine Informationen und unfreundliche Antworten. 50 Minuten im Flieger warten müssen bevor der Start erfolgte. Erst auf Nachfrage gab es zur Überbrückung ein Wasser. Schade, dass man als Gast immer darauf Selbstverständlichkeiten aufmerksam machen muss. Dabei möchte LH angeblich immer ein Wohlgefühl an Board vermitteln. Das behaupten sie zumindest immer in der Durchsage. Enttäuschend.

My transit time was short but gladly made it"

The gate was changed and I was given wrong directions by airport employees so I went through a very long and painful wait at a security line that I didn’t need to go through had the airport info employees knew what they were doing or saying. I ended up missing the flight because of repeated wrong directions"

Aus nicht ersichtlichen Gründen wurden bereits zuvor Flüge von LH und EW nach MUC annulliert. Erst gegen 21 Uhr erfolgte die Snkündigung dass 21:45 die neue Abflugszeit wäre. Gestartet ist die Maschiene dann um 22:05 Uhr. Die Kommunikation war sehr schlecht, das Bodenpersonal schloss bis zuletzt keine Annulierung aus."

Schließlich fand sich doch noch ein Platz in den Staufächern der Business Class, mit dem Hinweis, da hätten wir aber nochmal Glück gehabt."

A few rows up they had fans, so apparently you have to pay extra for air... This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"

Positiv: "The flight started with a visit in the recently renovated KLM crown lounge in Amsterdam airport. I liked the various seating options and of course the upstairs bar. The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."
Negativ: "This seat is not ideal for sleeping for taller persons (I'm 185cm tall) as the space to put the feet is very narrow and it's uncomfortable when lying on the back (as one cannot put them in the natural resting position). Cabin temperature could have been a bit lower for my taste. Crew needs better training with regards to transfer procedure in Chengdu."

They suggested I waited 9 hours for the next available flight or to get one by AA in Reagan Airport in 3 hours. They told me that transportation to that airport would not be reimbursed and would cost between 20 and 40 dollars. I didn't know the airports were that far apart and the one-hour taxi drive cost me 80 dollars. From Sao Paulo to Washington, things went as well as expected. Once landed everything was horrible."

Negativ: "Flight was cancelled on our way back home from Gudalajara, was speaking to a representative for almost 2 hours to get me on the next flight the flight representative forgot to put me on hold and told everyone how rude i was, i was not rude i was just trying to get home. The representative couldn’t help me so i asked to be transferred to a manager, after 2 hours i was transferred and the manager hung the phone up. Long story short i called back spoke to another manager Yana and she was the rudest lady ever! She basically told me for waiting to long i will have to be placed on a flight 2 days after my cancellation flight. I started to cry because i needed to be home and she basically did not care so i took the date. Never again and i will warn everyone about this airline and their customer service!"

Positiv: "United Airlines for a change did a decent job flying back to LAS unlike our flight from BUF to EWR which got canceled and we had to drive to Newark which was not only disappointing but to witness customer service uncaring even more distressing."
Negativ: "We may not choose UA for our family from now on. Quite a bit of confusion even when trying to reach customer service over phone, the hold time is 15 to 20 min?"
Negativ: "Delayed almost 2 hours, causing me to miss my connection flight. Had to pay extra $460 to purchase next available flight which delayed my arrival time 6 hours! Horrible experience !"

Negativ: "Seats are very tight. Entertainment depends on bringing your own ipad or laptop and using the United system. Movies tended to be oldies. Food is 10 pretzels. Count them."

Negativ: "I specifically bought carry on luggage that meets the standards so that I would not have to go baggage claim as it would weigh heavily on my schedule. As I stood in line and noticed all of the huge "carry on" bags more than 2 I was astounded when the flight attendant said my carry on would have to be loaded with the other luggage. When I offered my rebuke she scolded me and said the luggage would be there before me....how the hell is that supposed to happen? To make matter worse the flight "attendants" stopped serving half way and when they started again I got trapped by the bathroom and did not get back to my seat in time to enjoy a beverage....not that I was offered one."

Negativ: "20-30 minutes on the tarmac to take off. 30 minute wait after we arrived at the gate to have United staff attempt to line up the jetway with the cabin door. United is really firing on all cylinders lately"

Negativ: "United claimed the flight was delayed due to weather but two other flights to Houston were able to leave on time and no other United flights appeared to have been delayed. No apologies, no compensation, did not even give free access to wifi during flight."
