This was better than the United-operated flight to Munich, which was the single worst flight experience I've ever had. That is faint praise indeed. Overall, a terrible experience, and after the problems with KAYAK, I'll never use them again for a flight, either.
Wenn man schon genug für den Flug bezahlt kann man auch wenigstens umsonst Unterhaltung haben wie z.B. die Filme. Finde ich etwas unverschämt, dafür zu bezahlen müssen.

Like: The flight attendants Do better: be on time. You informed us of a 25 minute delay…..that turned into over an our….probable cause - under staffed baggage handling to load the plane. In Newark we waited in excess of 30 minutes to see our luggage so we could transfer to our next domestic connection. Result - missed connection. Probable cause - under staffed or poorly functioning baggage handling.

Negativ: "Parken auf Aussenposition. Obwohl kaum Flüge stattgefunden haben. Keine Treppe zum Aussteigen. 10 bos 15 minuten gewartet. Gepäck kamm dann 40 Minuten nach Landung am Band an. Unakzeptabel. Keib Wort warum. Passagiere sind offensichrlich nicht so wichtig"

Negativ: "The seats should be fixed to prevent them from going back as far as they do. With space so small as it is, it is unnecessary to have them go back so far if at all. The food was poor, especially the cold egg and pepper sandwich at the end. My guess is that they were suppose to be heated which would have made them much better but the crew decided to give them out cold."

Negativ: "Boarding is chaotic for economy, with everyone mobbing around the entrance. Having people board in subsets, beyond just 1st class and people needing assistance would be helpful. It makes the entire airport gate areas hard to maneuver around for other people as each plane loads, and it stresses out the group waiting to get on the plane."

Ich kam mir vor wie auf einer Kaffeefahrt, ständig Werbung für irgendwas, was man kaufen soll: FlyNet, Boardshop, irgendein Hilfsprojekt."

Negativ: "Da sich der Abflug kurzfristig von 7:00 Uhr auf 9:00 verzögerte fand ich dann doch etwas zu lang die Wartezeit."

+ Es war ein angenehmer Flug trotz Verspätung. - Die Toiletten waren gehen Ende des Fluges absolut ekelerregend aufgrund von Unfähigkeit mancher Fluggäste anständig auf die Toilette zu gehen.

Air Canada staff let people know 10 mins prior to boarding that we needed the app to view movies in-flight. Most people couldn't download quick enough, & airport Wifi was not optimal"

Negativ: "I didn’t like anything about this flight, except that we arrived safely. I had the last seat, next to the toilet, and that container or whatever it is, was dirty. Every time someone flushed, I was bathed in the smell of urine. It was raining in Toronto; consequently, my checked bag was wet through. I’m glad I was coming home rather than arriving at a vacation destination, where all my stuff would’ve been wet. I’d like to see some effort put into keeping my bag dry. Also, the passengers had to slog through the rain to get on the plane!"
Negativ: "fragte man sich leider auf diesem Flug. Keine Monitore mit den Infos zum Flug (wo sind wir, wie lange dauert es noch, etc...) Kannte ich so noch nicht. Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "Old plane, and business class is just ok. So sad that Air Canada is only flying this route with Rouge... they just are ok. Boarding was a gong show - they blocked off the area with little posts to keep people organized and were boarding a big flight to Tokyo right beside us. Horrible."

Negativ: "Klar, die Flieger werden immer enger... aber für die Umwelt ist es schon besser, wenn dafür weniger Flieger starten also beklage ich mich auch nicht so sehr drüber. Am Besten wäre es, wenn es mehr Züge gäbe für solche kurze Strecken."

Positiv: "Seats were fairly comfortable. Crew on flight from Toronto to San Jose were friendly. Crew on home flight very aloof."
Negativ: "Did not know you should pre book food. They ran out. Very frustrating. Said they had breakfast food and snacks. All that was left by the time they got to our seats were chips and nuts. And they didn’t seem to care. Entertainment worked better on way back. Could not get it going on way there, even with crew assistance. Line ups for check in in San Jose were crazy. Over 40 minutes."

Positiv: "One of the most spacious flight experiences I've ever had, enough room to stretch out for my 6 foot self. My checked luggage arrived safe and sound when I landed in Vancouver."
Negativ: "On my 5 hour flight from Toronto the air Canada rouge website wouldn't work on my laptop despite troubleshooting many times. I was connected to the wifi... but didn't gain access to the website. I would've liked to eat on the plane but having to pay $7+ for a sandwich alone isn't something I'm interested in. It would be nice to at least get a free snack while flying across Canada. Oh well, I guess I'll starve."

Negativ: "Being crammed into a tiny seat without any outlets or monitors. Being hit with a ton of extra fees for seat selection and baggage. If you dont pay to select your seat and wait 24 hours before the flight to do so you risk losing your spot on that flight, such BS. Im surprised they didnt charge me a seatbelt usage fee."
Positiv: "Dieser kurze Flug verlief schnell und komfortabel. Es gab Internetzugang am Board, der gut funktionierte."
Negativ: "This is not an Air Canada flight, is a Rouge flight, meaning there is no service, no screens, not even blankets on board. I didn't know that until after confirming my reservation, and it makes all the difference. For a low cost flight, the service is ok, but it shouldn't be advertised as Air Canada at all."

Negativ: "It was horrible experience going through the Vancouver custom. Some one decided to random check a brown guy traveling alone. Okay, I get it. I give them credit for profiling me. But, I was very disappointed that they only know and follow the rules in their book. Dumping the luggage and wallet on the floor and then asked me to put everything back was not gonna help you find anything. They need to be bit smart and have some people skills. I mean a car salesman is smarter than this custom officer. I walked in for random screening with great respect for those officers but walked out with zero respect and maybe worse experience of my life. If you mistreat a innocent person just have a courtesy to say sorry or give them a stuffed canadian bear. We can understand!! One last thing for custom or border officers, treat the people the way you wanted to be treated."
Negativ: "My flight was cancelled, re-scheduled 8 hours later. No notification on Air Canada was given. They mentioned that "this flight never existed" I had taken a day off of work to be there and I also had a meeting, however, my flight had been cancelled. Also, the costumer service representative mentioned that if I left th airport, they would not let me back in. They would do 2 security checks on me. After all of that! When I asked the check in lady at air Canada they mentioned that flight was not cancelled and not to look at the boards at the airport because they are incorrect! Horrible service. Horrible experience."
Negativ: "The connection process at YYZ airport. You need to clear security twice in order to connect. Risk of missing flights got connection because the walk to terminal is long and security checkpoint is very inefficient and sllw"
Positiv: "Again, loved the seat."
Negativ: "One of the stewardess was a little smug. She caught herself and tired to back up and be nice, but she was definately a little agressive initially. Sorry, I have been busy, I cant recall what she specifically looked like. I think she had carmel skin, dark hair and was around 30. Again, she did adjust herself, but I wanted to share this as the only real issue I noted for the trip."

Negativ: "Delay of almost an hour on the runway because of a mechanical problem, after being asked to turn off cell phones and so we couldn't notify those meeting us. Our flight arrival did not appear on the board at Pearson , thus complicating our communication with those meeting us. Baggage was slow being unloaded. Will seriously consider flying to Hamilton with West Jet next time we return from Halifax."
Positiv: "The cabin crew was friendly and very attentive, since they realized the passengers couldn't get any peace or comfort due to the screaming child problem."
Negativ: "Nine hour flight from Warsaw to Toronto, 7 hours of on and off ear-piercing screaming two year old child. Even though it was a daytime flight, most passengers wanted to sleep due to early morning wake up and previous connections. Even for somebody who wished to stay awake, there was nothing pleasurable about this situation. The airlines are going to have to figure out how to deal with this ever-increasing problem on long-distance flights, like a closed door quiet space for the parent and child. It was like being trapped in a torture chamber. If an adult had created that much commotion and misery on a flight, they would have been forcefully subdued and probably arrested. A few minutes of a crying baby can be excused, but this was non-stop disturbance by an unruly child and complacent parent(s)."

Negativ: "The attendants on the flight were very unprofessional - they laughed the entire time during our boarding and safety demo. They were more interested in talking to the ground crew outside then welcoming the guests on their flight."
Positiv: "Plane was on time and flight was comfortable."
Negativ: "There was no free food - that would be impossible in Europe."
