Negativ: "- I had to pay extra for lunch and (alcoholic) drinks. - The pasta was overpriced and tasted like nothing - At the destination we had to wait for 35mins in the plane, before we could get out."
Negativ: "Flight was unable to land in Vancouver due to aircraft problem, and diverted to Seattle. Spent the night there; still waiting to get back the next morning. Serious disruption of business day for my wife and me as a result."

Negativ: "It is too crammed on this type of plane. Having three columns of three seats, four seats, and three seats is a bit too much. It seemed this type of plane is going for quantity instead of quality."

Negativ: "fragte man sich leider auf diesem Flug. Keine Monitore mit den Infos zum Flug (wo sind wir, wie lange dauert es noch, etc...) Kannte ich so noch nicht. Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "Slow to board and slow in Vancouver to get the jetway Connie red."
Positiv: "Politeness of crew. The employee at Toronto was able to change my middle seat to aisle as requested. My original seat was aisle but it was changed and I found out in Boston."
Negativ: "That it was cramped. I was on a 4seat row, aisle, but I had the man next to me encroaching on my leg and arm space"

Positiv: "Great crew and smooth flight. Boarding is a bit stressful because storage is eaten up quickly by other passengers. Great movie selection and decent food. Thank you!"
Negativ: "Extremely delayed, and changed our seats to worse ones"
Negativ: "Food was grose. Seat was located on an emergency exit and supposed to be "preferred". Worst seat ever. Right next to the window is very uncomfortable since your stuck to the wall if the plane. Theres no window on that row. But this specific seat is awkward and very uncomfortable."
Positiv: "Das Boarding und die Durchführung waren super. Das Personal sprach Französisch. Nicht alles wurde auf Englisch wiederholt. Getränke wurden NUR EIN MAL angeboten. Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."

Negativ: "As soon as I got on the plane everything was fine but this flight was also delayed by an hour and I had my relatives waiting for me. On top of that they sent my bag to Buenos Aires which was the planes next destination. My bag was eventually brought to my home. Overall the experience with Air Canada has been horrible. And I lost 2 full days because of the airlines' delayed flights."
Negativ: "i booked the flight in january and keyed in my passport expiration date several times online in the next several months...at the airport, i handed the air canada agent in miami my passport and she booked me and a checked bag through toronto to copenhagen...i went to board my connecting flight in toronto and was told my passport, which expires at the end of august, was no good as i needed to have 3 month left...so they refused to let me board and told me to go see customer service...so i go stand in line for several hours (was only one agent for the first 45 minutes and 10 people in front of me)...one woman going down the line to see what each person's issue was told me that it was my problem, not AC's...and that "we are only responsible for making sure your passport is valid for getting into canada"...i was on my own to find a hotel and a new flight...fortunately a supervisor saw me standing in a daze several minutes later and said that it was AC's mistake for not catching it in miami...so she booked me into a hotel, gave me the address to the US consulate and instructions on how to get an emergency passport...she said that it would be no problem as "this happens all the time"and went ahead and booked me on the next day's flight...so i was able to spend the next day getting the new passport and getting back to the airport to fly out that night, but i lost a day in copenhagen with my family...it seems to me that when flights are booked and passport info, including expiration date, are given, a simple cross check of dates would be easy, and, imho, incumbent upon the carrier taking you there, especially when "it happens all the time"...this was not done on 4 occasions between booking and my trip...there were other issues too which is why i will never fly air canada again and i will never travel though toronto...the return trip through that airport was a nightmare for many passengers."

Positiv: "Business Class on the Dreamliner 787 was a great experience. The flight crew was great. Everything at Pearson and at YVR went smoothly today."

Negativ: "Although no-one specifically ruined the travelling aspect of my trip, being delayed, cancelled out due to weather, missing a whole day of my trip (out of a short 3 day vacation), never getting my baggage, and then damaging my baggage when I did everyday retrieve it, is unacceptable for an airline to get away with. They will certainly be getting a letter of complaint and a request for a refund."

Negativ: "We weren't notified via email, text, or phone call that our flight had been delayed almost 2 hours. Found out at the airport. Didn't get into Montreal until 2 am. Plans were wrecked for the night. Flight crew not very friendly."

Negativ: "Air Canada Oversold my flight, the process of reaching my destination was incredibly painful and uncertain. For example -at one point an Air Canada service representative provided me with a ticket for my original flight with a seat assignment however when I tried to board the aircraft the gate agent confiscated the ticket and then destroyed it advising that I was not supposed to get a seat. Air Canada gate agents and check in staff were visibly struggling with the computer booking/reservation system at multiple points throughout this process. For example - at one point my bag was checked on a flight that I was not on and the gate agent openly expressed disbelief and concern that it was happening outside their control... very concerning."
Positiv: "Boarding of children at the beginning of boarding operations. Double thumbs up."
Negativ: "At 2 hours into the flight I was most of the way through a movie. The crew then announced that some passengers were unable to view the entertainment system so they were resetting the entire system. Crew said passengers would be able to resume watching entertainment at the point they left off. Needless to say this was not the case. The entertainment system never got reset properly and did not function for the rest of the 4+ hour flight."
