Negativ: "I was asked to check my carry-on. I have used this carry-on more than 50x without an issue. I have even put it in the smaller compartments on smaller Bombardier jets. I don't have an issue with being asked to check luggage, but I resent being asked when others are allowed to take their carry-on onto to the plane without issue. Right in front of me while I was waiting for a baggage tag, others were being checked in with carry-on equal to mine and allowed to take it onto the plane. I can only surmise that my ticket limited me to one bag onto the plane, although they would not tell me this. This was not clear when I booked the ticket nor when I checked in on-line. I had a 40 minute connection in Zurich so was very concerned that my luggage would not make it. Luckily, it did make it to my next stop. Swiss Air seems to have different restrictions than other airlines which I have encountered before. I take ownership that I should be aware of a tickets restrictions but this was a multi-leg trip (5). However, I will tend to avoid Swiss air in the future, to avoid having to research their unique restrictions."

Positiv: "The plane was huge with lots of empty seats. This is better than my flight out, which was oversold (I was the person who didn't have a seat, until just before departure when someone else didn't show up). The seats appeared to be new."

No information was available about what gate the delayed flight would be departing from, which made it difficult to relax while waiting due to fears of missing the flight whenever it finally took off. The electronic flight list said to check the monitor at 6:38pm to find out what gate would be used (for a 5:30pm flight). I checked the monitor at 6:14 and it said the flight was boarding. This seems like a recipe for making people miss the flight. At the very least it made things stressful. No free food/beverages were provided (some is available at a cost). A family with a very tired baby was forced to wait in a huge long line rather than being pre-boarded. That just seems discourteous to me."

Eine Ablage im Mittelgang ging nicht mehr zu während des Fluges. Eine Stewardes hat dann mittels eines Schraubenziehers diverse Befestigungen nachjustiert, danach ging die Ablage wieder zu. Meine Frau hatte einen Rollstuhl für Heathrow bestellt, welcher bei der Ankunft nicht da war. Angeblich musste die Maschine ausserplanmässig an einem anderen Ort andocken. Das Handgepäck wird anscheinend nicht richtig geprüft beim Check-In. Mehrere Leute hatten so schwere Koffer dabei, dass sie 2 Leute brauchten um diese in die Ablage zu wuchten. Das Video-Angebot ist sehr dürftig und auch speziell für Deutsche Sprache kaum vorhanden. Auch die Screens sind absolut nicht mehr der technischen Möglichkeiten der Zeit entsprechen."

Negativ: "Die Sitze waren sehr eng. Ich wurde überredet meinen Handgepäckkoffer einzuchecken und nun ist er kaputt und der Schaden wird nicht reguliert."

Wartung würde sicher helfen, Fazit: 4 Flüge alle verspätet, 1 kompletter Tag verloren, ca. 2000 USD Kosten durch Notbuchungen von Hotels und neuen Anschlußflügen."

Negativ: "2,5 Stunden Verspätung mit nur sehr mangelhafter Information. Immer nur tröpfchenweise Informieren und so spät als nur möglich. Anstatt die 2 Stunden in der Lounge zu warten durfte ich sie stehend in der nicht klimatisierten Wartehalle verbringen. Anschluß verpasst, das ergebnis war eine um einen ganzen Tag verspätete Ankunft am Ziel. Das ist schon das 2. Mal mit BA, ich hätte beim ersten mal schon daraus lernen sollen und diesen Billigflieger nicht mehr nutzen sollen.,"

Bordunterhaltung gabs nur in Oben alle 3 bis Sitzreihen einen TV dort konnte man Film schauen, nicht nach eigener Wahl. Sonst konnte man Film und Unterhaltung im Händy oder schauen Tablet herunterladen.Brauchst einfach gute Batterien dafür es gab keine Auflade Möglichkeiten, nur am Airport."

THEN my departing flight from Puerto Plata back to the US was delayed 2 plus hours (as was the first flight) due to a flat tire that had to be replaced. I missed my connecting flight and had to be placed on the next flight to DCA which was the last flight. This experience was the worst. I do not have a favorable opinion of American, of which I have flown this airline for years."

Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

I have dealt with this before at Pearson I don't understand why it takes large amounts of time to unload bags from the plane? Or why a few bags arrived and the others took 2 hours? I am not sure if Air Canada has any control over this or if it is Pearson's responsibility but I would appreciate if you could forward this complaint to the appropriate folks. Thanks."

Their selfishness causes problems for other passengers and the flight crew."

Second, the fact that United was the co-share should be be more prominently stated on the tickets to avoid arriving at the wrong terminal. Last, the flight numbers should be "shared" as well to help passengers can look up flight information."

If you don't book directly with an airline, you may suffer the same fate as me! This was an almost $1,300 dollar learning experience. Do not use third party online booking agents! You do not have the same protections as dealing with the airlines directly."

Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was."
