Negativ: "Real nightmare as I had booked YUL-LYS-BRU with Brussels Airlines (SN). YUL-LYS was operated with Air Canada. Came within 4 minutes of missing flight despite being at airport 3 hrs early. SN had not released ticket to Air Canada so they could not check me in. Had to call SN customer service after AC could not check me in, then wait and wait as they had to try to correct the mistake 3x before AC counter could issue boarding passes. Terrible experience going through this with 2 small kids waiting. It’s as if the two airlines’ systems don’t communicate but passenger is responsible for resolving."

This might be a testament to Vancouver Airport more than Air Canada. The entertainment was ok. It had a decent variety to select from but i only ended up watch a few things and entertaining myself or sleeping. I paid to sit in an exit aisle as I only had middle seats to select from. It was worth paying for the freedom to stretch your legs and get up anytime without disrupting your row."
Negativ: "The food was ok, I personally wish the drink cart came by more often so I didn't feel rude asking the air hostess each time. They were always very accommodating though."
Positiv: "Overall a good experience. Had to pay for food but it was quite good so I didn't mind. Supposedly the crew were short staffed but I found them attentive and helpful and to be honest I believe the people who complained may have been a little precious."

Positiv: "It would seem that if you are seated toward the rear of aircraft the likely hood of your overhead storage compartment being available to you are pretty remote. There doesn't seem to be any adherence to baggage size regulations and consequently passenger start jamming their bags in other people's allotted compartments. The problem seems to cascade the further back in the plane you go. Very fxxking annoying and you are left holding the bags so to speak!"

Positiv: "I liked, that the staff was nice and friendly, I got my gluten-free food and there was enough entertainment (movies, movies, ...) to choose from, which made it a pleasant flight. Unfortunately, our flight from Munich to Toronto had a delay, so I couldn't make it to the connecting flight. Without having to ask or complain, Air Canada booked us on the next possible flight, which was the next morning, and gave us the boarding passes and a voucher for a Sheradon hotel close to Toronto airport, where I went by a free Sheradon Shuttle bus."
Negativ: "I would have liked to be informed more than two times in 30minutes at the boarding area, about what was going on with the plane having to start later. It's not the waiting that is the bad thing in my eyes, it's the not knowing what is going on, also for passengers arriving after the first announcement. I could imagine people being a little more understanding, if they know what is going on, as well as your staff being less busy to answer questions, but instead being able to solve part of the problem."
Negativ: "Tell customers beforehand that they need to download the AirCanada app to use wifi. One is unable to download the app in flight, and so we are without internet the entire time. I can't believe on this super long distance flight we didn't have TVs to watch anything. I had one on my first and shorter flight, but not the actual international flight portion? What the hell?"
Positiv: "I liked the flight crew. They were very friendly and attentive."
Negativ: "As expected with Air Canada, the service is awful with bitchy stewardesses, the food is poor, the plane is falling apart. Midway through the flight, the plane looked like a pigsty with garbage everywhere. When serving the meals, the stewardess just said to everyone, "You want it or not" and moved quickly with many people wondering why she was behaving so rudely. In addition, we couldn't get clear information about the baggage allowance. This is partially due to booking through Kayak where they don't tell you the baggage limit and some of the flights were code share flights even though all were with Air Canada. Couldn't tell if we had 1 or 2 bags included. This didn't help with our packing. In the end we had 2 bags and wish we bought more stuff."
Negativ: "3 mechanical problems. Two missed flights. 16 hours late. Lost luggage. The crew sent us at wrong place, we were stuck in a room until 6:30 am. We had to sleep on chairs. Everything that could go bad went bad. Will never ever fly with Air Canada again. That is a promise."

Negativ: "Delayed, food (best not to touch), seat PC power charge plugs didn't work, was NOT allowed to use wireless PC mouse !!! (1st ever in 20 years of off-line PC use to work on planes), the seats were old and smelled, the in-plane access to movies plug-in didn't work, the TV shows kept disconnecting, crew had no idea how to correct, Montreal airport was dirty and poorly maintained, the one restaurant with service had the worst food I ever ate with promised internet access and PC / Phone charging facilities NOT working. Amazing stuff !!. So awful it now seems funny !...Almost missed my days in and out Sanaa Airport in Yemen with Yemen Air !!!"

Negativ: "I was put in overbooking, and was concerned about not being able to get on the flight. Everything worked out fine in the end, but still did not appreciate this. Given the risk of not being able to board, I will likely not use this airline in the future."
Positiv: "The process through Heathrow was easy and efficient. Boarding was fairly quick for an international, large flight. The staff were always accommodating and friendly. I was comfortable in the seat, I am a small person but I did notice that the seat was significantly larger than other flights I have been on, and appreciated the entertainment, which had a great selection of movies."
Negativ: "The meal served was very nice. The snack served after was a spicy chicken wrap and I really must question the wisdom of serving anything spicy in an enclosed environment with a limited number of toilets."
Positiv: "Quick flight, well-done!"
Positiv: "3 1/2 hours late cramped stuffy with a very strong chemical disinfectant odor that was gagging passengers . Cabin was too hot and poorly ventilated. Only flight landing in Pittsburgh late Tuesday night and we were still forced to walk him from the very end of the concourse . Once we got to the landside terminal we had to walk past all the unused baggage claim area to the very end carousel. Pittsburgh airport management should be ashamed of themselves . No wonder there tax finance Taj Mahal is a ghost town !"
Negativ: "I find it very strange that you have to pay extra to ship a bag. Air Canada advertises that all fees are included in their fares. However you are getting hit at the back end after you make your booking. Just about everyone travels with a bag to ship. After having to Leave fort Mcmurray due to loosing our home we had to pay an extra fee to ship three bags. It does not do much for the image of Air Canada be a leader in the industry and be up front all the way."
Negativ: "Was a bit of a pain when I wanted to simply get off the plane in Geneva since it would be shorter, but then the plane was late, but that can't be helped"
Negativ: "Offering "pasta" as a food choice isn't good. You might as well offer "potatoes" or "rice." Tell us what is in the pasta, what kind of sauce it is etc. Not enough details!"
