I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

When someone from SAS finally came, I was told I would be escorted through security and most into the plane but then the "manager" or whoever was in charge denied it. The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

Also we weren't given the choice of what to have for our meals and were merely handed our food. Lastly, the flight was very, very uncomfortably warm."
Positiv: "The salad they served me in SAS Plus had fish in it which I'm allergic too and the stewardess immediately found one that had chicken instead. She also sang a Lullaby song thanking us for flying SAS on landing. Great! :-)"

Then there was a dinner- not bad at all-, a snack later on, and breakfast too, all included. Headphones if you needed them ( lifesaver there as I had temporary misplaced mine), a blanket, and a pillow. Never again. Pay more for a decent seat on another carrier! And take a large bottle of water, as they're not at all generous with the water, soda, and juice. My seatmate and I were parched and couldn't wait to clear customs so as to buy a bottle of water."

It would be nice to know that before booking that they do this, and also before boarding, even if it makes more sense to start boarding before they arrive (but 45 minutes before?). The live map on the public screens in economy showed a dummy/overview map with "waiting for data" the entire flight, rather than the actual live map. Premium did have the data on their screens, and the individual screens also worked fine. Not sure what happened there..."

I had my 6 year old daughter also on the plane who is not anxious at all, so I was able to speak to one of the staff in French so as not to transfer my anxiety to my daughter who doesn't understand French. This was great. Over half way through the flight they gave me some earphones and suggested I watch a movie. This helped so much."

I was informed upon arriving at the desk at the gate that that meant Air Canada has also decided to participate in the ridiculous practice of overbooking their flights and that even though I purchased my ticket roughly 8 weeks prior, there was a chance I might miss my flight to my friend's WEDDING. The lady who was working the desk was as unhelpful and dismissive as you could possibly imagine, refusing to look at me and giving me attitude for merely waiting in the area to see if anyone had missed the flight so I could get on. It was surreal; the only way I could describe her incomprehensible behavior would be to say it was as if her boss were right in front of her and she was trying her damnedest to get fired. It was one of those situations where you could tell this miserable, miserable person was enjoying the power trip she was on and doing everything in her power to make me feel helpless and angry. I made my flight, miraculously, but it was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life, airport or not."

No place to sit, totally packed, could not understand announcements, only bagel place to eat that was out of most everything. I will avoid Air Canada and Toronto airport if at all possible."

Negativ: "We got a hotel in St. Louis so we'd be plenty early for our morning flight. Got to the airport more than 2 hours early, checked in and waited. They announced over the overhead speakers that our flight was delayed due to mechanical issues. Then delayed again. Then cancelled. We were on the phone with both the airline and priceline ASAP. By "on the phone" I mean "holding for the next available representative...", which was more than an hour wait for both. The airline didn't have another flight they could fit us on until next week. We asked priceline to get us on the next available flight. We held, were disconnected, held, held more, disconnected, held more...until the day was gone. That evening they finally said they booked us on a 6:15 a.m. flight. I asked for an email confirmation and when it didn't arrive several hours later I called back. "Please hold" was the catch phrase of the day. Eventually a rep came on the line and said that we had a 6:15 a.m. flight, gave me the flight number, etc. and said the email would arrive shortly. We went to bed feeling good. We got up at 3 a.m. to get to the airport by 4 a.m. The airline didn't have anything on us. We had two hours to get this straightened out so we weren't TOO worried. "Please hold" When the priceline rep finally came on the phone she said we had reservations and the airline should let us on. Even though it was 5 a.m. now there was a long line at the airport check-in. When we got to the front of the line the guy dug deeper into his system, said he could find our reservation, but that priceline just hadn't purchased the tickets. I told this to the priceline rep on the phone. "Please hold" We watched as our flight left. We spent the day trying to get priceline to get us on a flight, but I was never able to speak to someone able to get us on a flight."
Negativ: "You put me on Delta once I got to Detroit. Confusing and exhausting when you're not use to different airports and flying."
Positiv: "Nothing to like about this airline. Horrible people especially in toronto, really unhelpful, extremely rude."
Negativ: "Air line decided they didn't want me to take my connecting flight. Removed my luggage without consulting with me. Offered me a disgusting hotel. Forced me to pay out of pocket for food, taxis, transfers and my own hotel choice. Staff were so rude. No explanation to why they removed my bags. I made it in plenty of time for my connecting flight but airline had just decided. No staff member was interested in answering my questions or helping. They all just wanted to sod off home. they just didn't care."

Negativ: "No amenities offered other than a free thimble of something to drink. I'm waiting for them to charge for breathable air."
Negativ: "Because of a three and a half hour delay on the first leg of the journey, I missed the overseas flight. They out me up in a hotel, but I had to wait 24 hrs for the next flight. There was no attempt to get me on another flight and so far no willingness to compensate me for the other travel I had to rebook."

I was comfortable in the seat, I am a small person but I did notice that the seat was significantly larger than other flights I have been on, and appreciated the entertainment, which had a great selection of movies."
Negativ: "The meal served was very nice. The snack served after was a spicy chicken wrap and I really must question the wisdom of serving anything spicy in an enclosed environment with a limited number of toilets."
