Positiv: "Zwar wurde der Einstieg nur über einen Bustransfer über das Rollfeld ermöglicht, aber die Wartezeiten vor dem Bus und vor dem Flieger wurden so kurz wie möglich organisiert. Die Innenausstattung des Flugzeugs ist sehr stilvoll und edel ausgewählt. Kompliment ! Da hat die SWISS ordentlich Häkchen bei der Sonder- und Zusatzausstattung gemacht. Die Beinfreiheit zwischen den Sitzen ist angenehm großzügig bemessen für einen innereuropäischen Flug, in einem Airbus A319. Diese Beinfreiheit kenne ich eigentlich nur von Fernflügen mit asiatischen Airlines. Die Cabin Crew war mit Authentizität äusserst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Zu keinem Zeitpunkt hatte ich das Gefühl , gezwungener Freundlichkeit zu begegnen. Retroperspektiv möchte ich sagen, dass dies der angenehmste innereuropäische Flug war, bei dem ich jemals Fluggast war. Schade, dass der Flug nur 45 Minuten dauerte. Mit der Maschine und dem Personal würde ich auch mal zum mars fliegen. ;-)"

Negativ: "I have just had the most unpleasant experience with Swiss Air and feel that anyone on FB should be very careful when dealing with this airline. I am a Gold Member of Star Alliance for more than 20 years and have flown dozens of times on Swiss and would expect courtesy and consideration in return for my loyalty to their airline. Their flight from Hong Kong to Zurich leaves at 00:15. I mistakenly booked this for Nov 9th instead of the intended late evening of the 9th which then turns out to be Nov 10th. When I discovered my error, I called Swiss at least six times to explain my error and ask if my son could stand by for the same flight on the 10th or even apply the amount to rebook the same flight the next day. ZERO flexibility or consideration. Missed flight, lose entire value. Start from scratch. Astonished that an airline that claims to be serving their customers would treat me this way. I travel through Europe at least 6-10 times a year from Asia. I will now route through Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, London, Vienna, Instanbul or even Moscow before ever going through Zurich again. I encourage anyone making travel plans to be very careful when considering flights with Swiss Airlines. Perhaps this treatment of a loyal customer explains why they went through bankruptcy already once."

In Zuerich musste man zum Anschlussflug erneut durch Sicherheitskontrolle, nachdem schon in New York auf unfreundliche US Manier kontrolliert worden war. Wegen Hauptlounge-Umbaus ist die Aspire Lounge zu benutzen, sehr beengt und ueberfuellt. Angebot an Essen auch eher bescheiden."

I now know I caught a stomach bug which hit me on the flights from Cape Town to Istanbul and then even worse from Istanbul to San Francisco. The flight from Istanbul was delayed by two hours due to customs delay for a passenger, as such there was a lot of recycled air. Take that and fact I'm pregnant and by time i started the 13 hour journey already felt sick. I started throwing up immediately and got sick 12 more times. the flight attendants brought me crackers, water and a cold towel and ice. My husband asked if he could pay to put me in business class but was not in airline policy. but i think given how sick and pregnant i was the flight attendant went to ask the captain if there was anything they could do to assist. they ended up moving me to business class to lie down and let me stay there for 3 hours. I got sick upon moving back but getting that rest really helped me. I felt like they genuinely cared about me and am so thankful to the two flight attendants who assisted: 1) Zumrat Bolukbas 2) Hatice (Cabin Chief) These women are amazing!"

This makes no sense and must be due to booking through a third party. Unacceptable and not worth the $40 per ticket savings."

Another disadvantage is that the lounge only opens at 5.30am in the morning but first flight already leave Vienna around 6am. Mine was at 7.05am which meant that I just arrived when the lounge opened and I had to wait in a long cue. Boarding was due to the limited space in front of the gate a mess, priority boarding was announced but I was not made sure that priority passengers board first. The seats on board are for business to small and there is not even space to hag up the coat."

The City Airport Transport (CAT) train from the Vienna airport to city center was fantastic. We were able to check our luggage and get boarding passes where we boarded the CAT at the metro station and did not have to wait in line at the airport...wonderful system!"
Negativ: "At the gate there was a line formed for a second passport check but it was not clear to passengers that they needed to go through this line. A significant number of us had SSSS on our boarding passes which required us to go through a second, more thorough, TSA security procedure. We had to remove shoes, take electronics including phones from cases, have purse contents gone through by personnel, be screened for residue, etc. Due to this process and the fact that we were not advised to stand in the line, a number of passengers went through the second security check at the last minute which caused our takeoff to be delayed. The pilot made up the time during the flight. I ordered low sodium meal which ended up to be the same food at both meals which was a disappointment - pasta with tomato, eggplant sauce."

Dadurch musste ich 100 Euro für den Lage-Check-in bezahlen. Bei Ryan Air stand über der Website nach dem Versuch sich einzuchecken immer nur dass es bis 2 Stunden vor Abflug geht und mehr nicht. Irgendwie ging dieser Punkt dann nicht weiter. Seitdem ich aus dem Urlaub zurück bin hatte ich auch leider noch keine Zeit mich mit LastMinute in Verbindung zu setzen dies werde ich aber nachholen in der Hoffnung mein Geld zurück erstattet zu bekommen. Ausserdem möchte ich ungern immer über 15 Minuten in der Warteschleifen bleiben wie beim Versuch gestern. Zudem war dies mein erster Flug mit Ryan Air und ich kam mir vor wie auf einer Kaffeefahrt für Senioren. Negativ: "Low fare is an illusion. They forced customers to check in carryons that would have been qualified as carryon by other airlines. Any checked in bag cost $35 and there is absolutely no free check in bags. We ended up check in 3 bags for two of us. Service is super slow. In addition, if you are traveling to London, the airport they use is STN which is at least 1 and half hours from the City. There is no Uber available from that airport. Tax cost is $120+. As you can see, no matter how cheap the ticket might seem, it ends up to be very costly, no matter you are talking about money and time. Flight attendant was friendly but the Rome CIA airport service was horrible (that's where they fly out from). You first have to stay in a long slow line to get the check in bag invoice, take it to a payment counter where 3 out of 4 service people were on there phone texting while there is another long and slow line of travelers are waiting to make payment. We almost missed our flight despite the fact we got there 3 hours earlier."

Finally around 4am the airport opens and have to be in line waiting another half an hour for the people of Ryanair to come to the counter. When is our turn they told us that we have to go to another counter around the corner to pay for the laugagge and because we didn't print our ticket I tried to print my ticket all day the day I bought it and the website didn't allow me. I kept requesting for a code over and over again thinking I was doing something wrong but the bottom to click just didn't process anything. So I thought with my confirmation number for the booking I will be fine at the airport to get my boarding pass. Well no. They charged us 50 euros per laugagge,, that didn't have any extra weight (11 kilos each laugagge and 50 euros for not printing the ticket. So we paid 300 euros for the 3 of us Now I know why the website didn't accept the request to print the tickets on line cause they wanted to charge ppl extra. And I was not the only one with this issue there were other people in line with the same problem. This is one of the worse airlines ever! Totally scam. They don't give you nothing on the flight not even water. Cause they try to sell it to you. Food, water, snacks. Beware this company is a scam and provide a horrible costumer service."

Negativ: "Miserable experience. This was flight was diverted to Kuwait due to weather. We were told we would be taking off a few hours later. Then we were told that we would be given a hotel room for the night in Kuwait. In the end, we all just waited around in the Kuwait airport for hours without any assistance from any airline representatives. I wound up having to book another flight, as the Pegasus delay was 13 hours (even though other flights were departing to Bahrain much earlier)."

In both of my flights between Istanbul and Amsterdam, the airplane was not cleaned off of the previous flight's trash. When I was seated in my first flight to Amsterdam, my tray had a lot of stains of food and drinks. Not a pleasant sight! In my flight back to Istanbul, I had to travel looking at a former passenger's waste, such as a used napkin tissue, stuck to the handle of the seat, and a chocolate package. I also have to say that the sinks of the bathrooms do not drain properly, so you, actually, cannot leave the place clean for the next person. All in all, this company definitely needs to work on the cleanliness of their aircraft. Thank you!"
