Ich musste 3 Sitzplatzreservierungen bezahlen, 1 davon völlig unnötig. 3 - Gate Änderung von 92 auf 98 in Palma de Mallorca unmittelbar vor der Rückflug sodass ich fast mein Flug nach München verpasst habe. Den ganzen Stress und 2 extra Gebühren kann ich mir ersparen wenn ich mein Ticket direkt in der Reiseagentur kaufe."

Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Unknown to me I could not find the flight because it had been changed to an AC reference flight. With a very short time for the connection I did not know where to get my boarding pass as my flight with Lufthansa was nowhere referred to ! Not which gate to go . Why not put it in the ticket that Lufthansa and Air Canada work together and that both flights ref should show !! It would avoid a great deal of anxiety . Only offered 1 round if hot drinks over 9 hours ! Departure delayed by nearly 60 minutes"

I paid extra for a seat closer to the front yet had to store carry on in the rear of the plane. when asking the flight personnel for assistance regarding the matter, he promptly gave me a glare and turned away totally ignoring me. In waiting until everyone had exited the plane before being able to retrieve my bag, it completely defeated the purpose of the extra expenditure. perhaps boarding the rear of the plane first. regardless, my biggest concern was I felt like the flight attendant should have responded but elected to snub me. amazingly I lived to talk about it :-)"

Interestingly, my daughter in Minneapolis knew before we did that our flight was cancelled. Poor communication. My son who was traveling with me was able to get help from Fatima on the "white phone". She got us to Winnipeg on a midnight flight and we then booked a $1400 Delta flight to Minneapolis from there. We needed to be there by 10 am to attend the legal adoption ceremony of my daughter's infant son. It was very close but we made it. Sorry to say but flying is no longer a pleasurable, exciting experience. Janet Davis"

We were not given seats ahead of time and therefore were assigned the last row which was very uncomfortable and could not recline. No one was at the desk to help with the seats for a Very long time. The boarding process was not good."

Negativ: "AC employees gave us contradictory and wrong information about clearing Canadian Customs in Vancouver, so we were unable to get through all the arrival and transfer procedures and had to go on without our luggage. Our delayed baggage was delivered to us 2 days after our arrival. Probably there was not enough time allowed for our connection in Vancouver (about 90 minutes). We were going from Japan to the US via Canada."

Negativ: "On the way to Barcelona, We didn't have access to any online media during the flight because their wifi wasn't working properly and we couldn't download the app. On the return, we downloaded the app prior to boarding but the app failed to work properly!"

Negativ: "The kiosk at checking was unable to process our boarding pass so we had to wait in line to see an agent to check in and take our bags. There were 3 lines, but people who arrived after us were taken care of before us. It was not organized. Our flight was delayed and the waiting area at Laguardia was so crowded. I fly Air Canada as seldom as possible because there's almost always something that complicates the trip. Our daughter booked these flights so we could visit her for Mothers Day."

Negativ: "Air Canada cancelled the flght without notification. Sat in the airport from 10:45 in the morning until boarding call at 13:30! There were 8 cancelled flights to NYC because of Toronto return scheduling conflicts resulting from runway repair work. Air Canada customer service desk was horrible."

Positiv: "You fly a beautiful plane, the Boeing 787. Excellent entertainment, more comfortable seats, and just about everything on this plain was upgraded. So, your starting point is really high, but you really need to look at your service."
Negativ: "our flight was 40 minutes late in departing TLV. My connection in Toronto then was changed to a later flight, which was then delayed too by 50 minutes. all in all a 14 hour flight with connection ended up being close to 18 hours. My biggest two complaints about the flight itself is the food & the toilets. Your meals are the worst I've had in a major airline, and you should not serve customer frozen of close to frozen bread or sandwiches. If you are serving rolls, sandwiches or pitas, or bagels heat them up first. El-Al has been doing it for decades, go look at how they do it. But besides the bread/sandwiches issue, your meals are a really bad version of frozen supermarket meals. Just terrible all round. The other complaint is the bathroom. It was not cleaned frequently enough."

This led to massive confusion and a huge pile up of people at the counter."
