The crew are very polite and attentive, the plane is comfy and clean. The food could have been better. It's not for all people's taste. They should give atleast two meals in a 4-5hr flight, a snack and a meal coz the portions are so little.

Also at check in we were inline for 2 hours just to let us know we couldn’t fly out they should have a Monitor saying “ ATTENTION PASSENGERS IF YOU DON’T HAVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS IN HAND YOU CANNOT A BOARD.” So that people didn’t half to stay in line for so long."

Very professional, attentive, good food, little amenities that make a difference in the overall experience of traveling. Very clean bathrooms, even after a 16-1/2 hour flight to Taipei it was still clean at the end of the trip. Food was good and plentiful, wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages offered. Came around at least three times on the leg to Taipei with food and water and when I wanted more water they gladly made sure I stayed hydrated on such a long flight."

Die First Class von Emirates ist sagenhaft. Kann ich nur schwerstens weiterempfehlen. Die Kabinen, Toiletten/Duschen, das Personal, Essen und Onboard-Unterhaltung wird man nur schwer toppen können.

Negativ: "Boarding: by bus at BKK on a Boeing 777, not as expected with emirates, gate was set as “G1A”, we read this as Gate 1A, but needed to run from A1 all the way to G1, got late on the bus. Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."

Positiv: "The flight TPE - HAN was fine. The flight SFO-TPE was OK. The seat in premium economy did not recline properly. Service seemed to disappear for several hours during the flight. I am not as excited about using premium economy for my return. The seats in economy look very narrow."

Positiv: "Since I had no check-in luggage on my way to Manila from Los Angeles, my medicine bag was packed in my carry-on with wheels. When, in Manila, I was forced to check-in that piece of luggage, I forgot to move my medication into my backpack which I carried with me on board. In Taipei, I asked the ground crew to retrieve my medication from my check-in carry-on. The team worked diligently and made sure that my medication was handed to me as I was one boarding the plane with the last few. I was delighted by the level of service and the fact that I was able to take my medication before the flight took off. What a difference in attitude between the Manila and Taipei ground crews. Thank you Taipei ground crew!"
Negativ: "no place to put pillow/blanket while eating"

Negativ: "2 hrs delayed in our first flight and one hour in our connection"
Positiv: "The flight from vancouver to taipei was great. The plane is top notch. Free food and drink. It's great. Seats are comfy and very roomy"
Negativ: "The flight from taipei to bali was terrible. I had to switch seats because I was too tall for the window seat. Theres no leg room and the seats are very narrow. I am not a huge guy, 6'3" and 235lbs very uncomfortable. Also the TV only worked half the time"
Negativ: "I had preselected a window seat, but somehow I was “bumped” out of this preselected window seat to a middle seat. I informed this detail to the Air China rep at check in but she would not listen nor care about it. I tried explaining several times, but basically got nowhere. Thanks for listening"

Negativ: "fter serving a meal, it was 7 hours later we received any beverages. the cabin air was very dehydrating and everyone started coughing because we had been given no water. this is how people get sick and spread diseases. the plane definitely needed to consider hydration. and when they finally served us the meal, they didnt offer water rather coffee or tea and i had to ask for water and juice. the cabin temperature also fluctuated from hot to cold."

Negativ: "When the person in front of you recline their seat all the way back, you can't adjust the viewing angle of your entertainment screen. Boarding was chaotic as we were in a small gate area. That's the airport's fault though."

Negativ: "You do not know what has happend to the bookings of your customers. With some routes, I completed my trips, then, you still run marketing email on those. For cancellation, even you still hold my original amount of money once placing booking, then, you charged again the second time for cancellation fees"
Positiv: "China Airlines has generally been a step above the average. The name is a bit represented as this is really a Taiwan Run and based airline that has been influenced by the western business practice."
Positiv: "Fast boarding. Well organized. Good flight attendant crew although they need people with better English. Food was served hot and on schedule. Fair selection of movies. Poor selection of Tv programs"
Negativ: "Transiting from One flight to another in Taipei is no easy task. Signage is poor watering lounge features giant rocks for seating and I found out later that there is a proper lounge downstairs. No signage in English to tell you about the seating downstairs. Poor selection of food in terminal. we have to pay for WiFi and when you get it, it's very slow."
Positiv: "I like entertainment and food.. taste is good.."

Negativ: "Rushing to CIA transfer desk for seat assignment. Boarding desorganixed led to my boarding the last pessanger on plane. The entertainment outlet on my seat was loose and almost lost inside the chair arm."

Positiv: "I am a vegetarian and they didnt have any options. Whatever options the crew could find, they said it was vegetarian but i dont think it was. The crew didnt understand english and couldnt speak english at all. Come-on you are operating an international airlines. The check in took good TWO hours- never have seen this delay in check in."

Negativ: "My bags didn't fit and the staff was blatantly rude. I have never been barked at that way before, especially to open a window shutter. No please or thank you, just barking it at you until it's complete. I thought I must have misunderstood until I said goodnight and thank you to the same woman and just literally just stared back at me looking annoyed and didnt say a word. Too many people on this flight. It felt like we were crammed in."
Negativ: "No entertainment for kids, no toes, TVs were not functioning and several times I asked the crew that kids bored and want to play or have something to watch but nobody cared. My children didn't liked the food at all, as there was no fish or egg or veg meals, only pork at breakfast. I had two young kids with me, but were treated as regular passengers and we lined up for long time for boarding and kids got very tired. At washrooms there was no soap, tissue or towel papers."
