Habe flug verpasst, Anschluss von Brest war zu knapp (30') mit 10' Verspätung v Start
Upon purchasing the ticket, it stated that, checked bags would be $30 each, so I expected to pay only $30 for my second bag, being as my first checked bag came with the price of the ticket….instead, I was charged $75 for my second bag and not $30, like the price I saw… :-( very disappointing.. I was tricked.,.
Check-in was TERRIBLE !!! The AF staff was mostly clueless and not helpful, and the procedures in place were outdated.
Could not hear announcements from staff. Luggage in hold was delayed on both legs of trip.

Positiv: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."
Negativ: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Negativ: "They forced me to ceck my trolley because i had a suit with me!!! And the airplane wasn’t even full. Even worst they allowed some pieces of “hand luggage” that were double the maximum allowed size"

Negativ: "Die Bestuhlung der Business Class in der Boeing 777 ist unbequem. Es gibt wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Anordnung ist 2-3-2, und die Fensterplätze und der mittlere Sitz hat keinen Zugang zum Gang. Man muss bei diesen Sitzen die Nachbarn belästigen. Finde ich gelinde gesagt suboptimal."
Positiv: "The cabin crew were amazing and the seats very comfortable, even in economy. I'm not a super comfortable flyer so I loved that the pilot would always warn when we were getting into turbulence. 2 thumbs up. I will fly Air France again"
Negativ: "I'd appreciate a better selection of food and drinks, even if I have to pay for the drinks."
Negativ: "More options for gluten free food. Always get the same dish"

Negativ: "I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre."
Negativ: "Flug kommt Mitten in der Nacht in Paris an. Da die Verbindung zum Anschlussgate noch geschlossen war, mussten wir formal nach Frankreich einreisen um zum Gate nach München zu kommen. Dort darf man sich im ungeheiztem Gate noch mindestens 2 Stunden die Zeit vetreiben."

Positiv: "The CDG airport is very bad in terms of finding your connections, the flight to CDG from LAX had a very old entertainment system and was hard to use."

Positiv: "The staff were very helpful and professional. The air hostesses regularly checked if I was ok and showed concern when I wasn’t. They made what seemed a bad situation seem bearable."
Negativ: "The food was not very nice and the option I wanted had run out. The entertainment was faulty and had to be reset several times. The comfort was below standard and needs to be improved."

Positiv: "Direct flight from Indy to CDG is great. The plane was not so full, so I hope business improves so we can keep it going. Very smooth flight, with good and friendly crew."
Negativ: "I did not like that i was in the bulkhead and there was not sufficient overhead storage for us. The bin was only big enough for 1 backpack. 2 of the 3 of us in that row had to go 2 rows back to store our luggage. This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."
Negativ: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."
Negativ: "Canceled flight—absolutely no notification. Convoluted rebooking in whcuhbhey lies to us about what flights we were actually on. Spent a couple hours at Delta rebooking our trip. Lost prepaid night at hotel and dinner eaecatuon plus day of vacation."

Positiv: "Während des Nachtflugs war es ziemlich kalt in der Kabine. Aber es gab eine Decke und ein Kissen. Das war gut! Leider wenig Deutsche Inhalte auf den Entertainment Bildschirmen am Vordersitz. Sonst alles super!"
+ Es war ein angenehmer Flug trotz Verspätung. - Die Toiletten waren gehen Ende des Fluges absolut ekelerregend aufgrund von Unfähigkeit mancher Fluggäste anständig auf die Toilette zu gehen.
The staff were friendly and the plane was on time. The jack in seat 25A for sound needs to be fixed.

Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "The vegan food made me very very sick for a few days. Also the lunch was a chicken cup of noodles with a turkey sandwich. No vegan option. My luggage got left in Toronto."

Negativ: "Klar, die Flieger werden immer enger... aber für die Umwelt ist es schon besser, wenn dafür weniger Flieger starten also beklage ich mich auch nicht so sehr drüber. Am Besten wäre es, wenn es mehr Züge gäbe für solche kurze Strecken."
Positiv: "Air Canada crew is always courteous"
Negativ: "I have taken this same flight once a year for the last three years and it is always late to depart from NRT to YVR making the costumes and immigration process a hurried hassle for this of us with connecting flights. YVR crew got me and another couple to our next flight on time, but it has already boarded."
Negativ: "The flight from Toronto to DFW was a basic experience. It was the last leg of a long trip, so our family did our best to sleep through the late flight. The only thing I noticed was a generally blasé attitude by the flight attendant when our toddler woke up to ear pain during descent. Her colleagues on the previous leg had been much more helpful. She wasn't rude - just left us to manage the crying, which we were fine to do for what I am sure felt like an eternity to fellow passengers."

Positiv: "Das Boarding und die Durchführung waren super. Das Personal sprach Französisch. Nicht alles wurde auf Englisch wiederholt. Getränke wurden NUR EIN MAL angeboten. Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."
Negativ: "Kaum Beinfreiheit. Essen nur gehen Geld."
Positiv: "Had a flight out of LGA to Toronto after arriving on the red eye from Cali! The staff is amongst the best in the industry and love flying them! Polished, professional and courteous! For the money we pay to fly and be spoken to as if we're second rate citizens is absured and unacceptable. However every time I fly them, I find their employees make the entire experience a pleasure to fly! Thank you to the leadership team for empowering your staff and execution."
Negativ: "Food can always be better but that's across the board!"

Negativ: "We were rebooked on a flight with a short connection to London and they bumped us off that flight claiming that they could not get our bags in on time. Very poor customer service."

Positiv: "Friendly service is so important to me - and the staff and flight crew at Air Canada met all my expectations. I had the displeasure of flying United on the way to Seattle and I must say the service at Air Canada is far above!"

Negativ: "Departure delay of 3 hours from Tel Aviv. Unruly Haredim should be left on the ground in Toronto, not in London. Food voucher was usable at only one outlet, and Burger Ranch is a greasy spoon. Would more choice be too difficult to organize?"
Negativ: "Why the hell do I have to pay just to have a snack? I already bought a ticket and I can't even get complementary peanuts?"

Negativ: "That was a first time i saw a paid entertainment system. That was a long-haul (9 hrs) flight. Either you pay and have an iPad with movies, music etc. or nothing. Very interesting."

Negativ: "I've never experienced an international flight with so many children who were up until all hours running up and down the aisles. 2 of the people in my group sat in front of two older children (ages 12 & 10, about) who kept kicking their seats. Eventually, they told the father, who separated the girls, but was just as antsy as his daughters. All lights were left on, making sleeping impossible. The crew took FOREVER bringing food and drinks out. The plane was so disgustingly messy - it looked like a small explosion happened on the plane. It was hot and uncomfortable. The flight experience made us nervous for what to expect in Greece when we arrived. Luckily, Greece was cleaner than the flight."

Negativ: "Big problems with frequent flyer miles. After a number of hours into the effort I am told my miles won't count. For the average airline it takes about 30 seconds to join the frequent flyer club. Air Canada now is my last choice for long flights. Ok maybe before Frontier."
Negativ: "Flight was delayed Missed the connecting flight food was terrible on plane baggage was damaged reached London in two days instead of one so much restlessness missed important family gathering at the destination"
Positiv: "The staff where friendly and easy going, the boarding was also organized and because the flight was really full of you gave the carry on to be checked they allowed you to priority board"
Negativ: "The food countinues to be and issue I flew the same airline 2 years ago and the meal options had not changed. The salad was so bland I was certain that I was eating plastic food."
Negativ: "Spending 90 minutes going through security and immigration is horrendous. I never experience this when travelling with WestJet. Considering I have not traveled with Air Canada for some time I will not be booking with them again in the near future."
Positiv: "Extra leg room even though I had to pay extra for it."
Negativ: "Long wait at the Claims Dept. because my luggage was broken."
Negativ: "Having to pay for wifi onboard is silly."

Negativ: "The flight was 2 hours late. It had apparently arrived late, and then they had mechanical problems. Air Canada gave me some inaccurate information which delayed me in Montreal and made me miss my connection to Toronto. Also, even though I specified to the flight attendant that I was connecting to Toronto before going to the US , they only gave me the US custom form even though you apparently need to fill the Canadian one even if you are just transiting through the country."
Positiv: "I upgraded to premium economy which made a big difference. Lots of leg room, a menu, pre flight drinks."
Negativ: "Airline lost my luggage."
Positiv: "The crew is very good. Food was good. It is a short flight but I think it was good."
Negativ: "Very very bad customer service. I was flying to Rome from NYC on Friday night and my flight was cancelled. I was just notified by a text saying that there was a change in my flight. After calling customer service, I was forced to take the afternoon flight on Friday as I had to be in Rome for a wedding on Saturday. Even if I was rushed to the airport (my call with the customer service took place at 12.00 and the flight was after 2.30 hours...) and cancelled all my appointments and had to take special permission to leave from work, I was never offered any upgrades or refunds while at the same time the attitude of the rep was take the change or leave it. At the airport, I called again the customer service to understand better the cancellation policy based on their website and their response was to apply on the website and maybe I would get a little bit of money and they don't offer upgrades for these kind of situations. They indicated that it is up to gate manager to decide for upgrades, which when I tried this approach I was notified that the customer service should have flag me appropriately....I don't really care about the refund or the upgrade as at the end I was able to reach my destination on time; however, it was extremely disappointing to see a whole organization that does not take into consideration their customers time and ignore any descent customer service to them. Simply, never again."
