Negativ: ""Customs" at JFK came to an entire halt. All passengers where stuck in the welcome hall for 1h, without any information, why held there and why nothing was moving forward. All CBP booths were closed, but 8 (eight!) employees, who normally direct arriving passengers to the kiosk-machines where hanging out in two groups sharing private stories and having laughs instead of at least informing passengers, what was going on. Lots of passengers where outraged...a couple in their mid 70s in front of us had to sit down on the floor, since they had circulation problems from standing in line so long. Sadly, JFK isn't what it used to be anymore."

Fliegen ist wie Zug fahren . Ich habe auch mein Ticket (79 Euro ) mit der dB für eine Bearbeitungsgebühr von 19 Euro tauschen können .. und die was nicht schuld und hat einen schlechten Ruf ;) gerne flexibler werden wenn Flexibilität von Passagieren erwartet wird . Danke , dass sie das ausrichten .. viele Grüße"

Positiv: "Aufgrund der U-Bahn-Ausfälle kamen wir zu spät zum Flughafen und verpassten somit unseren Flug. Wir haben verzweifelt versucht, telefonisch mit der Airline Kontakt aufzunehmen, was jedoch aussichtslos war. Warteschleife ohne Ende... Man konnte uns an diesem Abend keinen Ersatzflug mehr anbieten, sodass wir auf eine deutsche Airline ausweichen mussten. Hier hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Leider sind die Kosten für den Rückflug sowie das Gepäck futsch. Sehr schade für British Airways"

Positiv: "I paid for a full seat and the person next to me was so overweight, I had the use of less than 2/3 of my seat. My rifgt shoulder, neck and back was very sore when I got off the plane from lack of any movement."

Negativ: "Poorly organized boarding at Miami. Agent did NOT speak clearly. Uncomfortable long walk outside uphill ramps and steps to board on the a tarmac. Purser’s PA system only worked occasionally. Most communications relayed from rear. My first class seat in row 3 was broken partially reclined."

Bordunterhaltung gabs nur in Oben alle 3 bis Sitzreihen einen TV dort konnte man Film schauen, nicht nach eigener Wahl. Sonst konnte man Film und Unterhaltung im Händy oder schauen Tablet herunterladen.Brauchst einfach gute Batterien dafür es gab keine Auflade Möglichkeiten, nur am Airport."
Negativ: "Besatzung Bordunterhaltung Verpflegung,alles mit Kartongschachteln wurdest nicht gefragt was du willst. Wurde einfach wauf den Klapptisch hingeknallt. Alles in allem sonst ruhig sauber und in Ordnung."

Positiv: "Dass ich sogar einen Kaffe und einkleiner Snack in Form von kleienem Keks bekam. Ich war vorbereitet, dass ich nichts erhalte.Hatte etwas zu Essen dabei. Freundliches Personal Bordunterhaltung nur bezahlbar und übers Laptop oder Handy Hatte Auflade Möglichkeiten beim vorder Sitz.."

Negativ: "Upon arriving to the gate we were delayed 15 min. As the last few people were boarding the gate agents announced there was not more overhead space and we would have to check all bags from now on. I’ve seen this done before but I was very irritated because it seemed as if the gate agents were a little rough with the newly checked bags. As I felt like I didn’t have a choice I checked my bag reluctantly knowing I had a gift for a friend inside and continued boarding. As I boarded I was highly irritated to see more than 5 available overhead spaces for carry ons. I asked the steward why they made us check bags when there was still space and she barely stopped to answer and just said they have a monitor up front that tells them when it’s full. Clearly the monitor was wrong and common sense would lead me to at least take a look before LYING to paying customers. I was very hurt to see the gift I had just bought for my friend was broken when I opened my bag at baggage claim."

Positiv: "It was not a full flight so I didn’t feel cramped and had space for my carry on in the overhead compartments instead of having to check it in due to lack of space like I had to do on all the other AA flights."
Negativ: "We were given last minute notice our flight was going to be delayed and our gate changed 3 times. There was never a definite time frame for anything and very vague information was given. Our flight ended up being delayed almost 2 hours. It was my most frustrating experience with any airline. Definitely would not choose to fly with them again"

Negativ: "Keine Boarungerhaltung, unfreundliches Personal, grosse Verspätungen und enge Sitze. Und dies alles für Interkontinentalraketen Flügen. Alles schlecht bei American Airlines. Nie mehr."

Negativ: "Lines are very long and the check-in staff are not good at their jobs. For example, I arrived 2 hours early and they ended up letting half the line cut in front, which made me barely make my flight."

Negativ: "My husband started coughing really badly. I rang the call button to see if a flight attendant would come and maybe help me. Eventually, after about 6 minutes, he managed to control his breathing and still no flight attendant to be seen. Only after 20 minutes while distributing the meals, one of the attendants shuts the call sign of and continues. This is not the service we usually get from Avianca!"

Negativ: "Not having boarding passes for the entire trip and not checking luggage thru to Charlotte was a hassle."

Negativ: "Customs is unorganized. I used Kosik & still had to wait in line twice. Once before i got my luggage and again after i got my luggage. Whew! Be sure you schedule two or three hours between connections or you will miss your flight.I had to wait at carresol for luggage, then drag to drop off point. Take train to gate, quite stressful"

Positiv: "All hope was lost until Greg came to our rescue. We made our connecting flight on time and didn’t have to reschedule the entire trip until the next day- losing out on lodging and plans abroad."
Negativ: "The way this flight was cancelled due to weather and couldn’t be rescheduled by anyone at the airport, on the phone — knowing it was due to the size of the plane and the weather conditions. I wasn’t even offered a voucher or accommodation for what I was being told would be a 24-hour delay. That was until we met Greg, he literally saved our trip and our experience with American Airlines."
