As soon as the plane pulled away from the terminal, crew members seemed rushed and frantic, literally running back and forth from Economy Premium to the galley gathering items. Approximately every 7-10 minutes, crew members would be running back and forth next to my seat with heavy foot steps, which would wake me up. I also noticed that certain crew members were shouting at passengers to get their attention instead of lowering themselves to be heard. One flight attendant almost spilled orange juice on me because she turned around too fast trying to serve drinks. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was the influence of a certain crew boss, but something was definitely wrong."

Whenever there was a change in schedule / plans the captain informed the passengers immediately about what was going on and what would happen next."
Negativ: "The only thing that did and probably always will be AWFUL is going thru security at JFK. The T S A officials there are unfriendly, sometimes rude, never smiling and often yelling at you or even little kids or elderly people. We are travelling a lot and no other security staff at any given airport is so unfriendly and harsh. Worst thing about going on a journey."

Positiv: "The presence and attitude of the flight attendants were highly pleasant and accommodating. The entire flight was very comfortable and made the 9 hour journey from Manchester to Houston Texas fast and enjoyable. The flight attendants always had a wonderful smile which felt genuine many a time and always made an effort to speak at the level of the passenger. When I had trouble connecting to the Wifi, one attendant even knelt down and connected my phone manually as I was not tech savvy in this regard. The food was of much higher quality as well compared to other airlines I traveled with on this trip."
Negativ: "Really the only issue was there was a 2 hour delay on departure, however this was due to issues out of control of the airline and I did not mind as the airline's ambience and my experience with it overshadowed any delays."

Was no fault of the airline but rather the airport itself as I saw other airlines stacked up upon arrival and waiting for their gate assignment. Also other departures finally recieving a pushback from the gate after significant delays. EVA captain was good about keeping the passengers informed about delay and anticipated times for actual departure when the tower would inform him."

Qantas and Emirates flights were awesome, the timing of dimming lights to encourage sleep was great and the food service and timings were perfect. bathrooms were clean and enough legroom in economy
Die First Class von Emirates ist sagenhaft. Kann ich nur schwerstens weiterempfehlen. Die Kabinen, Toiletten/Duschen, das Personal, Essen und Onboard-Unterhaltung wird man nur schwer toppen können.

Negativ: "Boarding: by bus at BKK on a Boeing 777, not as expected with emirates, gate was set as “G1A”, we read this as Gate 1A, but needed to run from A1 all the way to G1, got late on the bus. Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."

Positiv: "I fly to South East Asia quote often and have tried a a few airlines. China Airlines has been the most consistent in all aspects. On time, ease of flying, on board entertainment. I will continue to look to use this Airline in the future."

Positiv: "The entertainment was excellent, there were so many choices to choose from, it made the long flight less stressful....The Boeing 777-300ER was smooth and quiet for a twin aisle plane of its size. Lavatory was clean most of the time"
Negativ: "Even booking 3 months in advance, we could not select the seats. Our seats were assigned while checking in. Thus our family of 3 had to sit apart from each other."

Boarding was fine, and a representative of the airline took initiative to form a preliminary queue at the terminal departure counter despite the airline not having an all-day dedicated counter."
Negativ: "While its 4-seat layout was better than some anes' 5 seats in the middle column, the seating was, of course, cramped, and I did not have enough space under the seat in front of me to stow my backpack. I also wish Kayak had included easy means to select seats and special meal options. Apparently to do so requires visiting the airline's own webpage."
Positiv: "I was provided an extra pillow upon request. All the flight attendants were friendly, nice and always have a smile on their faces. The airline counter in Hong Kong offers the special candy from Taiwan."
Negativ: "There was no toothbrush/tooth paste provided on the return trip from Taiwan to Los Angeles. They didn't offer and soda from Los Angeles to Taiwan. The return trip was delayed from Hong Kong to Taiwan and Taiwan to Los Angeles. Both delays were only announced at the time of the original boarding time."
