The most exceptional jester durring experience with American Airlines was the assistance I received from the ladies at the arrival kiosk. They helped me identify my ticket number from an American Airlines e-mail and then completed the whole process for me on the self-help computer. This saved me time from standing is line at the information counter to find out what to do. The worst experience was trying to find my checked luggage in the Miami Airport. It was very confusing to know which belt my flights my flights luggage was delivered to. Other passengers were also confused and we waited at the wrong belt for over half an hour before receiving help from one of the customer assistants to learn where to go. This was not directly the airlines fault, but they could have anounced which belt number our luggage would be delivered to.

Negativ: "Flight was delayed and they announced it was because they weren’t sure there was enough tread on the tire to land which didn’t give anyone a great feeling. Crew was probably on their last shift and just rude."

The delay caused my car rental place to give away my reservation so I had to wait an additional 2.5 hours to get a rental car. The primary reason for my travel was a wedding and although I made the actual wedding, I missed most of the pre-wedding activities that I had rsvped for. The seats were really uncomfortable, particularly the lack of low back support. I was very sore after the flight and was unable to sleep despite having been awake for over 24 hours prior to the flight. We were finally given meal tickets but was unable to use as everything closed at 10pm."

They simply did a great job. Covid makes it more complicated but they rose to the occasion. Maybe too many announcements

Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

On the way to vancouver we showed up 2 hours early but the computers went out about 20 minutes after we arrived and stayed off till after our flight. No apologies, no responsibilities taken. That day was part of our small vacation. We got put on standby for the next flight 7 hours later. My family layed around the terminal without 100% surety that we'd get the next flight. We did but they split us up. I switched seats with someone and we all sat in the very rear seat of the plane, which was hard on my long legs and just added to a terrible experience. Ruined a whole day of vacation. Coming back the check in was just rudeness. A stark difference from the flight itself."

Then our flight was delayed 3 separate times, first 2 hours, then another hour, then another hour. The seats on the plane were made for children. Luckily it was only a 1 1/2 hour flight."
