Everything was great. I was on a 777-300, where they have 4-class seating; I paid to upgrade to a suite in First from Business lie-flats at check-in, because it was only a couple hundred bucks, but would stay in Business next time.

Once on the plane in Phoenix we were asked to deplane and change planes. Not fun!

Because I upgraded to business class

Their business class on this Airbus flight was just Economy seats with the middle seat blocked off with a fixed table. No extra space at all. Food was ok but not worth the extra expense imo.

There was a child that was crying a lot at first, so it was minorly annoying, but I'm sure that's out of their control, so that's fine. The first meal (chicken pot pie) was good, but the others (wrap and sandwich) were just kind of okay. I liked the meals going from SFO to London more.

Am boarding pass hiess es Security wird am Terminal 1 in Wien sein. Leider bin ich den ganzen Weg hingegangen um nachher zu realisieren, dass es dich Terminal 3 war.

Boarding in Heathrow was a total mass due to staff shortages. 3 out of 4 flight legs were delayed, some considerably. Food is as always mediocre, but plentiful. IFE is a bit dated with imo poor movie choices. Cabin staff was always amazing, friendly and helpful. Always available and smiling, even through the mask. Very clean lavatories and comfortable seats in business, although the product does feel a little dated by now.

There was no flight. Flights got cancelled. Kayak or British never informed us. I had to call so many times and wait hours to get to talk to someone. Made my vacation pretty bad. I still havent heard from anybody. No apologies, nothing. Just horrible!

Dort wurde ohne Worte, Erklärung, Entschuldigung oder Hilfe umgebucht und eine neue Bordkarte ausgedruckt. Solch ein Desinteresse an Unterstützung habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt. P.S. Ich spreche fließend englisch, es war also keine Sprachbarriere."

Endlich in München, warten auf den Minnikoffer.... keine Informationen..... von den Angestellten des Flughafens an den für Koffer zuständigen BA Schalter verwiesen. Dort sprach man angeblich kein deutsch, in München am Schalter. In englisch war man dann nicht zuständig, der Schalter über dem stand abhandene Koffer.... Als ich deutlich meinen Unmut geäußert habe, wurde ich beleidigt. Nach einer halben Stunde endlich, kamen alle Koffer des London /München Fluges an. Auch mein gezwungenermaßen eingechecktes Handgepäck. Ich fand es schon während des Fluges nicht zeitgemäß alle Ansagen ausschließlich auf englisch zu machen. Es war ja ein innereuropäischer Flug, da möchte man meinen, die Sprache des Zielortes wird miteinbezogen."

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "Return flight was delayed over 6 hours. Too many hours spent unnecessarily in airport. The delay in this flight cost me a day without work. We landed in Toronto @ 5:30 am. Out of security by 6 am. My shift at the hospital started at 7 am. I have never had a flight delayed to this extent, especially without an explanation. My nephew was on flight 1894 from Toronto. Everything was fine when they checked the ETD. They arrived at YYZ at 1300 only to finally board 12 hours later. Totally unacceptable."
Positiv: "The ciabatta buns served with the regular meals, looked lovely, as did the regular meat meals. Unfortunately, I ordered the Hindu Vegetarian meal."
Negativ: "Usually the Hindu Vegetarian meals are quite nice, but these ones were not. I have eaten a lot of Indian and Middle Eastern food, and I could not identify what this was supposed to be. The basmati rice had the consistency of oatmeal. The first meal was tasteless and the second meal had too much hot spice, but still no flavour. The bread they gave with the meal was tiny and tasteless compared to the lovely ciabatta rolls served with the regular meals."
Negativ: "Over an hour late."
Negativ: "I would like to see planes getting boarded from the back to the front. That way there are less people holding up traffic and you are not bumping someone who is already seated as you are going by."

Negativ: "SEATING EXTREMELY CRAMPED; NO ACCESS TO RESTROOMS IN COACH FOR 40 MINUTE TIME PERIOD DUE TO SERVICING FOOD AND DRINKS;"
Positiv: "We boarded the flight on time but of course we were still 30 minutes delayed taking off"
Negativ: "The seats were tight. There was no entertainment system. They ran out of iPods before they got out of the premium seat area. Because of light turbulence the drink service was interrupted and never repeated in a seven hour flight."

Negativ: "I needed to change my flight and Air Canads charged me $300! They said thy had some 'peak days' fee (August) and a 'weekend' fee, which covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 3 day weekend??! Come on, what a scam. Just charge me the flat change fee not all these bullshit greedy add-ons."
Positiv: "Roomy preferred seats"
Negativ: "No snacks"
Negativ: "Although the flight to Canada was fine, the ordeal to try to get back was awful! So apparently Air Canada makes up whatever rules that they see fit but doesn't make you aware of them until too late. In Canada, the "International" terminal is not for every country, but for every country EXCEPT the US...I didn't realize that the "Air Canada English" is its own language. Also, they will resell your seat arbitrarily, without any previous warning and have no problem stranding you in a different country, forcing to pay exorbitant change fees. If you try to straighten the situation AFTER the entire fiasco, the only recourse is a random email. I would not only NOT recommend this airline, but I would stay far, far away from using Air Canada!"
Negativ: "Mine and my wife's legs did not fit. The seats were spaced much closer together than is standard, and this made the flight unbearable. I stood in the isle for most of the flight. To make things worse on this 5 hour flight, there was no video available to distract me."
Positiv: "Attendants were conscientious, hospitable."
Negativ: "Nothing"
Negativ: "The food was awful! Dinner was barely ok and don't over advertise your "light breakfast." A cold piece of banna bread slapped down on my tray barely can be called a snack! The seats on the seemingly very old 767 were painfully uncomfortable. The 320 had better seating. And what entertainment?????"

Enjoyed it

Flight delayed. Crew excellent. Airlines are struggling amid shortages of staff. Be prepared to have flights canceled or delayed.

Flights kept changing right up to the day before leaving—-finally requiring two connecting flights instead of one with all of us traveling alone to connect through a different city. The connecting flight changes were scheduled too close to the arriving flight time—-requiring another phone call and extremely long wait times to United. In all, we had to call United 6 times with flight changes THEY made. United and their partner companies (in our case Lufthansa) continually blamed the other provider for the scheduling problems. All flights we took on this trip were delayed. The flight staff was always good. The arrangements for the trip a nightmare.

The food could be better

Negativ: "The flight was delayed due to weather at Newark. But when the weatther turned good, there was no Gate Agent from United for nearly one hour. Finally a captain who was flying home cold not take it and finally went from one gate to another hoping to find a GA."

Negativ: "Es gibt 2x auf einem über 11 Stunden non-stop Flug was zum essen:Nach dem Start und einmal 1,5 Stunden vor der Landung. 9 Std. nichts. Wenn dann eine Stewardess helfen will mit einem kleinen Snack aber von einem Kollegin gebremst wird, dann finde ich das unverschämt!! "Wir machen keine Ausnahmen!""

Negativ: "Wie üblich auf diesen kurzen Flügen keine Bordunterhaltung. Relativ wenig Sitzabstand wie sonst aber auch üblich (bei knappe 1,90m) wenn kein spezieller Sitz mehr frei ist."

Negativ: "United should have allowed the super-economy ticket holder to check in online get my boarding pass especially I didn’t have any bag to check in. I was almost late for my plane because counter assistance is needed in my case, while there was no counter for NO-bag check-in. The kiosk rejected my check-in as well as online check-in. It was confusing and frustrating; I felt like the United Airline did that on purpose to deter the super-economy ticket buyer. Please be aware of time to take to check in with NO BAG with Super-Economy ticket at EWR."

Positiv: "I like that this flight got me from point A to point B. It was uneventful."
Negativ: "I am tall and there is never enough leg room"
Positiv: "Guter Komfort und gute Beinfreiheit zu den Vordersitzen so dass man auch nach einem Langstreckenflug von München nach San Francisco entspannt ankommt."
Negativ: "... und alles kostet extra: Bordunterhaltung, Essen, Bier."
Positiv: "It was an efficient flight. My only suggestion is for the flight attendants to receive some training on the finesse of service. They could be abrupt and mechanical rather than service oriented."
