I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

They will be hearing from me."

They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. Negativ: "fragte man sich leider auf diesem Flug. Keine Monitore mit den Infos zum Flug (wo sind wir, wie lange dauert es noch, etc...) Kannte ich so noch nicht. Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."
Negativ: "Umm let me see. Oh yeah they lost my luggage and still haven’t found it. Pretty much ruined my whole trip."
Positiv: "They got me home"
Negativ: "Flight was delayed 2-3 times with no explanation. The food in the gate was trash . After boarding we waited on board for over a hour before take off , during which time someone was duct taping the inside of the plane together and I sat on a broken seat . The single flight attendant refused to take trash from people who didn’t finish their beverage . While the plane was reversing there was a huge bang and the plane shook as if we hit something . I observed gate agent repeatedly tell customers that she couldn’t help them find out if their flight was delayed and to just look at the computer board ."
Negativ: "Not enough room for everyone’s carry ons even though websites clearly state the allowances. very small plane. No snacka offered on almost 3.5 hour flight only drinks."

Positiv: "Nothing specific to the airline- I just liked the 9 hour flight trine instead of the 10-13 that I’ve been on to reach other parts of Asia l."
Negativ: "I had a total of 4 Air Canada flights- various staff members on all flights were rude and uninviting. It’s not like my husband and I aided for anything when they were serving; they all seemed to be noted to hand you a beverage from their cart! Food was horrible- stereotypical airplane food and such a disappointment compared to some of the other flights with other airlines I’ve taken to various parts of Asia. Also, who charges for alchohol on an international flight?! They also don’t have entertainment systems on their flights- you need to download their app before take off so you have access to 5 crappy movies. Seriously, pay $100 more and go with someone else."

Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."

Negativ: "We got held up in Calgary due to the fact they lost everyone's checked bags then we finally got to LA they still had lost them. They told us they would have the bags to us in a matter of hours but it took 3 days."
Positiv: "Paid for the "upgraded" seat only to be told we had to be in the back of the plane. Moving back all rows had one person and one chair open, so we had to sit apart. Useless crew as an elder couple asked to sit together and were told to check with passengers. Oh and the flight was delayed 3 times."

Negativ: "My bag did not arrive for close to 2 hours after we landed. About 15 bags were released on the carousel at an appropriate time and over an hour later the rest of the plane's bags arrived. The staff were not overly concerned. They announced a number of times that the bags were coming, it was almost comical. I have dealt with this before at Pearson I don't understand why it takes large amounts of time to unload bags from the plane? Or why a few bags arrived and the others took 2 hours? I am not sure if Air Canada has any control over this or if it is Pearson's responsibility but I would appreciate if you could forward this complaint to the appropriate folks. Thanks."

Negativ: "The headphone jack on my seat was broken which for a 5.5 hour flight is quite difficult. The only compensation the air flight attendant offered was a glass of wine,which I couldn't drink due to being on medication. I had purchased 3 meals and 2 snacks so she could have comped one of them. This is the second time I experienced this on Air Canada with little to no appropriate service recovery. I had my iPad~an offer of free wii fii would have also been an option"
Negativ: "We were in Toronto for an entire week without our bag and Air Canada showed no concern at all for our well being. I travelled with my one year old son, I needed supplies for him and Air Canada gave me dead end numbers to call, websites that didn't work and even hung up on us when we were trying to find out about our bags. They treated us terribly. I will never fly them again."

Negativ: "Only told after tickets purchased, that a visa was needed to change planes in Canada! This information needs to be provided prior to purchase. I paid one-third the cost of the ticket to cancel it and then had to book another ticket closer to departure which was more expensive. Have never heard of such a thing. I live overseas and but had a valid U.S. visa for my travel, but couldn't change planes without applying tor a temporary resident visa which takes longer to obtain than the time before I needed to fly. Very upset and disappointed. Will certainly avoid purchasing from Air Canada again."

Positiv: "Entertainment on this flight was comparatively better than the flight we took from LAX to Toronto...Snacks was also better on this flight than the LAX to Toronto flight which really confuses me as to why?"
Negativ: "The wait time though for our flight was 6 hours and there were 2 or 3 other earlier flights to LAX that day.."

Positiv: "When I had to reschedule they were very nice about making sure that I had the information I needed and they gave me great seats on the way to London."

Negativ: "We were informed when we arrived at the gate that the flight was to be delayed by 8 hours because of mechanical problems. 8 hours! No offer was made to book us on a different flight. No one, at anyplace along the line actually apologized for asking us to wait around for 8+ hours when the flight was delayed. We did not even know what the mechanical problem was. When we finally were able to board the flight, the captain made a personal appearance in front of the cabin to tell us that he and his crew had been called at home to fly a broken plane. He briefly explained that there were no available planes to swap out and the repair required all day. Inexcusable! Our treatment did not measure up to the Canadian tradition of courtesy and politeness."
Negativ: "This plane doesn't have comfort absolutely. I'm a tall man and all three hours of flight I was sitting with open legs Entertainment? You will not have it if your phone wasn't charged. You have to use own phone for watching movies or rent aircanada's tablet"
Negativ: "The entertainment was non-existent unless you had an Apple device or paid the $10 to rent one for an hour or so. Really disappointing considering other Air Canada flights."
Positiv: "I liked the meal that was served and that if you didnt want to pay for the ipad, you could access TV on your phone."
Negativ: "I didnt like that there were not individual TVs for my 10 hour fllght. I would have appreciated the entertainment on such a long flight, especially the movies which I could not access without the app. I also felt that more snacks should have been provided."
