The jet2 check in at Faro was so well done compared with other airlines. They stagger all the package holiday buses so it’s not overwhelmed. Well done Jet2

The seating leg room was good! The flight was delayed by 1.5hrs. I pre ordered a meal on board, but was the last to receive my food. So poor on board service! Jet2 managed to leave my luggage behind at Manchester airport, I’m still waiting news of its whereabouts!

Flight was first class Experience at Edinburgh Airport was appalling

The flight was first class the experience on landing in Edinburgh was not Crammed into a bus and held on tarmac for 15 minutes followed by just under 1 hour to clear passport control Only one flight at that time Disappointing!!!

Smooth process, great in flight crew you wouldn’t want to travel more than 3.5 hrs with them as the seats are slightly hard

Negativ: "When a 30 minute delay was announced (13.45 instead of 13.15), I was fairly philosophical. However, we didn't board until 13.45. Once settled in our seats, another 25 minutes went by when the plane did not move. No information's given. I asked a member of the cabin crew what was going on who said she didn't know anything. I then heard her ask (presumably the captain) on the intercom if he could make an announcement as 'passengers were enquiring' We were then informed that we would have a further delay of up to an hour. We eventually took off at 16.00, over two hours after scheduled time. Thank goodness, I had left plenty of time for my connecting train. I was equally unimpressed for different reasons with Jet2.com on the outward flight on 12 July. I will not be flying with them again."

Negativ: "The thumping 'music' as we boarded, the over-jolly announcements which treated the passengers as if they were all mentally deficient or poorly educated. The information they conveyed was clear and comprehensive and obviously, safety instructions are crucial, but the format and tone of delivery were so patronising I thought they were a parody. They also assumed everybody was coming back to the UK after their holiday - the flight had a good proportion of French passengers and some of us don't live in the UK. Make the announcements more neutral. I fly with a lot of no-frills lines, especially Ryanair and EasyJet as well as the larger carriers such as Air France, BA, SAS and Air Canada, but I have never come across such grating and irritating announcements. I will think twice before booking another flight with them rather than endure this again."

I was glad that i could take my hand luggage onto the plane, allowing me to exit without having to wait at the carousel. There was plenty of space in the overhead locker. Cheap price ticket and understandable that they charge extra for everything including choosing seats but for 99.5% of all other airlines that default to assigning you a free seat if you don’t pay… they always seat you with you together if you’re a pair. Ryanair literally played musical chairs with everyone. Everyone was spending time moving around and asking if people were willing to switch so they could sit next to their friend. Wow way to make a point that you must pay or else.

Negativ: "Nachdem ich über Swoodoo gebucht habe, hat mich Ryanair nicht online einchecken lassen und ich musste 2 Stunden Früher am Flughafen sein1 es gab auch keine Information darüber und die Seite gibt auch keine Information! Das ist eine Frechheit und gibt es sonst bei keine anderen Airline! Ryanair versucht mit allem extra Geld zu machen. Wäre ich später am FLughafen gewesen hätten sie mich 55 Euro zahlen lassen."

Fazit: ohne priority und fast lane kann man viel Geld sparen und kommt genauso schnell durch die Kontrollen :)"

Keinesfalls empfehlenswert, lieber etwas mehr ausgeben und eine anständige Airline nehmen"

Negativ: "Checking opened 20 minutes late and lengthy queues through security meantwe had no time to grab food/shopping as we had to rush to gate as no notifications that our flight was actually delayed by an hour. Everyone was herded onto buses to wait there for some reason rather than at gate"

I didn't like the staff's 'nobody cares, you're the last flight of the day' attitude, I didn't like we were late in but there was no apology for that, I didn't like that we got whiplash on landing, and I didn't like the apathetic manner that we were let off the aircraft. I realise it had been a long day, but it was for all of us. There were a lot of parents with very young children on that flight, so leaving them standing for 40 minutes to board just made them all fractious. By the time we boarded, those poor kids were beyond tired, so they were all crying. If Ruinair knew they were going to be late, there was no need to speed us towards a queue we'd be standing in for a good while after, they could have allowed the parents, kids and elderly to remain seated. All this did was serve to underline how little respect they treat their passengers with. Its unnecessary. ."

Negativ: "I disliked the fact that our flight was delayed and we weren't notified about it. I disliked that we got told there was a problem with the engine but they didn't allow us to either get off the plane or change plans we just sat there as they ran test after test. Asking us to sit down for them to see if the engine is working okay. They asked a member of the public who was sat by the wing to keep an ear out for any funny noises. We stayed on the runway for an hour and a half after it was already delayed. Once we set off in fear that the engine might fail again Ryanair didn't even off us a free glass of water to show appreciation for peoples tolerance. It honestly isn't worth the money you save."
