Flug 3h Verspätung bereits 15 min nach dem check-in. Neue Crew freundlich und alle Gaeste wolten einfch schnell nach hause, somit zuegiges boarding.

Die neue Boardverpflegung von Swiss Economy ist echt hervorragend: frisch, geschmackvoll, schön präsentiert und erst noch sehr preiswert.

I had to wait there instead of enjoying my vacation to wait for my bag. The bag did not arrive until 10:30 pm. I did not have my clothes or belongings with me all day. Swiss Air in particular needs to update their overhead compartment regulations, as my bag definitely would have fit there, and could have avoided this entire situations."

Negativ: "We didn't fly to Zurich. Instead, we flew from Berlin to Frankfurt to San Francisco to San Diego. Although the alternate airlines did a fine job and we had nice flights thanks to them, we only found out about the change when we arrived at the airport and it caused us multiple inconveniences throughout the day. Our flight from Berlin to Zurich was scheduled to board at 9am, so we left our accommodations at 6:30am so we could arrive at the airport around 7am. It was a rushed, hectic morning and we stayed up late preparing for it the best we could. When we arrived and found out our flight was canceled, we learned our new flight wouldn't board until 11am. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. The change also caused issues with our luggage. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. It was a huge bummer and we wish we would have had more control over our itinerary that day. People book certain flights for certain reasons and need to have a say when their flights need to change."

This was a rough one. The flight itself was fine, and it was nice to have a little Austrian culture on the way to the US. Check-in with Lufthansa at the Munich airport was very unsatisfying - even worse than checking in to a US domestic flight. Long lines, rude service - the first time in my life that I've had an airport check-in person proactively criticize me. And on top of that, they lost my luggage between Vienna and Newark. I waited at the baggage claim area until all the bags were off, and only at the very end did I discover my bags weren't there. By then it was too late to make my connecting domestic flight, even though I had a nearly two hour layover in Newark. A storm was blowing across the northeast, and the lines to change to a new flight were 50 people long. I ended up spending the night (on my own nickel) at an airport hotel and continuing my flight the next day. Even with an 18 hour delay they still hadn't found a way for my luggage to catch up to me. Overall, a pretty lousy experience.

Totally unhelpful ground staff, who were oblivious to the fact that I had a work commitment the next day so couldn’t overnight in some random hotel at an airport to suit Austrian’s policies. Eventually routed via Lisbon which meant literally flying all night to arrive at 0600. Lufthansa and Austrian have some serious faults to correct."

Positiv: "They were really good with checking in my excess baggage and my two cats. Cats travelled well and arrived as expected. Check in at O'Hare was very friendly. In the air, flight attendants were very accommodating and friendly. All luggage and cats arrived! The plane from O'Hare to Austria was very nice!"
Negativ: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

For next time I know that I have to bring my own food.. so bad! While servis time we ordered whisky with cola and after one hour we went to ask for one more cause we wanted and CA told us they dont serve anymore whisky only wine or beer. Besides this things when I came to plane my sit and table tray was dirty so we had to put blanket over... for the first time I write bad feedback but I have to cause it was terrible.."

Alles ist gut abgelaufen. Es war ein kurzer Flug und wir haben eine schöne gute Aufenthalt gehabt. Dann haben wir ja sehr gut gelandet.

Wie beim Hinflug auch beim Rückflug Verspätung von fast einer Stunde. Auf Nachfrage zunächst keine Informationen und unfreundliche Antworten. 50 Minuten im Flieger warten müssen bevor der Start erfolgte. Erst auf Nachfrage gab es zur Überbrückung ein Wasser. Schade, dass man als Gast immer darauf Selbstverständlichkeiten aufmerksam machen muss. Dabei möchte LH angeblich immer ein Wohlgefühl an Board vermitteln. Das behaupten sie zumindest immer in der Durchsage. Enttäuschend.

Wenn man schon genug für den Flug bezahlt kann man auch wenigstens umsonst Unterhaltung haben wie z.B. die Filme. Finde ich etwas unverschämt, dafür zu bezahlen müssen.

Für einen Linienflug ok. Hygiene voll in Ordnung. Alles in Allem schon ganz gut.

Zunächst wird bei der Lufthansa eine gegenderte Drohung ausgesprochen, nämlich, wenn die Gäste die Maske abnehmen sollten und sich den Anweisungen der Crew widersetzen sollten, würden die polizeilichen Organe am Bestimmungsort informiert. Das bringt schon mal "gute Laune" in die trotz 9 Mrd. Steuerzahlerstütze unveränderte Kabine. Die sieht dann auch so aus, als ob sie seit der letzten Stilllegung wegen Corona aus Kostengründen nicht mehr gereinigt wurde. Die Businessclass ist ohnehin eine Zumutung, nämlich die gleiche Bestuhlung, wie in Economy, nur mit einem leeren Sitzplatz dazwischen. Lufthansa sollte sich einmal ein Beispiel an Turkish Airlines nehmen, die die Zeit des Lockdowns genutzt hat, um für die Gäste ein Upgrade in Ausstattung und Verpflegung zu organisieren, die ihresgleichen sucht, aber bei der Lufthansa sicher nicht findet.

Positiv: "The flight attendants were stellar--polite, respectful, helpful, attentive. I want to particularly commend the attendant who, after I notified her that someone was very ill in the adjacent bathroom, stood discreetly nearby and offered the person a glass of water when he emerged. Very considerate."
Negativ: "The transfer was a horrible, stressful experience. We knew it as a short connection but Lufthansa had accepted it. On our outward bound flight three weeks earlier, we were all met and escorted swiftly by a flight attendant from the first leg plane (EWR-MUN) to the second leg plane (MUN-Nice) to ensure that we all made it onboard. Impressive. On our return journey, no such luck! No attendant to meet us, and a huge line at immigration, full of panicked and stressed-out passengers jockeying for position, with no-one from ANY airline there to do a triage for those with the shortest connections. Ridiculous. In addition, the passport-scanning machines were very slow and quirky. My own passport was rejected because there was no evidence I had passed through Munich on my outward bound journey!! RIDICULOUS. I managed to slip through to a human being and begged the immigration officer to let me go through with my husband, who had had no such problem. The officer told me he could not find a stamp from my earlier transit through!!! Eventually I suppose he did because he let me through. The stamp was there, I found it, but it had been sloppily applied and was half off the page...hence the rejection by the scanner. We made the flight by minutes. NOT GOOD! Surely Lufthansa could do better in their own country???"

Leider gab es in der Eco nur ein Glas Wasser, was diesmal aber nicht kundgetan wurde (oder ich habe geschlafen und hab das nicht gehört). Negativ: "1. The comfort in economy class was insulting and horrible. I am 6'3", 175lbs and was trapped in one uncompromisingly uncomfortable position for 8+ hours. Torture is a word that comes to mind. If I were a smaller sized person, 5'8" or less, perhaps this may be acceptable, but for anyone over 6'. forget it. You must pay loads extra to be given a respectable seat. I am hopeful that I don't develop a blood clot from this flight. This lack of room is a seriously dangerous situation for many people on long-distance flights. 2. The seat recline feature added further insult to the mix. Once airborne, the lady in the seat in front of me sent her seat into what was left of any personal space or legroom I had. The video screen on the setback in front of me was literally 6" from my face now. Several people who were also of taller size complained, one was so adamant about retaining his space that he fought verbally with the lady in front of him, and eventually a stewardess had to be called. My wife complained on my behalf, and was able to get the lady in front of me to reposition her seat, but eventually, I noticed it somehow found its way back to recline again. I know Lufthansa is not alone with this predicament, but something HAS TO BE DONE to fix this huge problem with air travel. 3. The food on the flight to Germany was way better than the return trip. The meal consisted of mushy carrots, greasy mashed potato-like side, and a piece of OK chicken smothered in 'Murican BBQ sauce. I was insulted. Lufthansa had been better than this in the past. Oh, and the dinner roll was so dry and crumbly, it could have been weeks old. The snack before landing was called pizza, but I wouldn't call it that It was a bunch of tasteless dough, a little bit of tomato like sauce and a smattering of cheese. I wish Lufthansa would stick to what they do best; German-influenced food. Be true to who you are. Most people I know love German food, and I always have looked forward to LH food selections. Not now."
