Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

The only thing I noticed was a generally blasé attitude by the flight attendant when our toddler woke up to ear pain during descent. Her colleagues on the previous leg had been much more helpful. She wasn't rude - just left us to manage the crying, which we were fine to do for what I am sure felt like an eternity to fellow passengers."

Also we were unable to check in online (something wrong on the website), so we didn't know our boarding info. We also had a flight that was 30mins late. When we got to the check in counter the woman wouldn't do anything for us- wouldn't hold the flight, didn't attempt to help us catch our flight. We were told we could wait 48 hours for the next available seats. We signed up for that, and also waited on standby for 24 hours at Narita. Fortunately they were able to get us on a flight within 24 hours. We were not very happy that the key information that check in closes an hour before flights was not readily available or obvious. No emails or notices that I saw when scheduling flights. Just be aware. Everything else about the flight was fine."

Negativ: "When I arrived at my destination I found that the item I had gate checked had been damaged- an instrument case I was no longer able to close. The zippers had both been busted off. Due to time constraints I was invited to write a review and email which I intend to do. The item itself was gate checked for safety - and to me the damage says that still somehow it is unsafe to fly with an instrument which as a professional musician is frustrating. In addition flights have very limited food options that accommodate persons with gluten/dairy allergies."

Positiv: "This was my first time in Canada never been there before I had a great time until that one moment I had to deal with workers from air Canada except one agent at the ticketing desk....I had checked in online the day before however I had some card issues because they got shut down by my bank and due to the holiday in America I was unable to call my Bank prior to the airport....got to the airport and tried to explain that all I wanted to do was pay for my bag with cash ...but no one took the time out to listen each time i tried explaining myself I was send to a different location to join another line ....by the time I got to someone who was willing to listen my flight was closed ..her name was Aurora and gave me nothing but attitude when I explained my story......anyways finally got to ticketing and a met the only agent that day who exercise some level of customer service that day...if only I could remember her name ...sigh she went the extra mile because at this point I was frustrated and unsure if I would make it out of the country a sane person due to the amount of chaos I experienced prior. She got LISTENED .....SHE TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN...got me on a new flight and went above an beyond to assist me that morning I was on the verge of a breakdown at that point all other staff member was very disgusting not only to my self but the other individuals who had mishaps that morning."

Negativ: "The seats were so small and terribly uncomfortable. I looked it up and it seems they are some of the smallest seats in the industry. They packed the dreamliner with more seats than it was meant for, making it really cramped for an international flight. Most people had to sit with their feet in their chair because it was so uncomfortable, and my knees were jammed up into the back of the seat in front if I put them down. And I'm only 5'7" so I can't imagine what it would be like for people 6' and above. The seats are hard, narrow and sloped at an odd angle. The bathroom design is poor - the lids of the toilets will NOT stay up and come crashing down on your back when you sit down (disgusting!!). I tried 4 toilets before I could find one that worked without the loose lid. Also the food was really inferior. It is the worst food I have had on an international flight, and I have flown many trips including Delta, Emirates, British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, etc. There was also a much smaller movie selection than I am used to. Overall it seemed like a budget airline and was one of my least comfortable trips."

Negativ: "Ugh. Delays of 1-2hrs each on 3 of 4 flights for one trip. Missed connecting flight in Toronto. Baggage was a disaster. No communication between staff, was told something different by each person I spoke with. Flew to London & didn't get my bag for 3 days. Flight delays put me in to London a day late, wearing same clothes without access to my bag & lost 4 more hours of site-seeing time following day calling the airline & trying to meet up with courier delivering my bag. Then on my 7hr midday flight back to the states our plane had no screens at all for in flight entertainment. Security and Customs check process was ridiculously long. Waiting in line after line, and the automated kiosks processing passports were fickle delaying lines & leading to further follow up by staff. Very confusing and overheard several passengers talking about missing connecting flights. I highly recommend not flying Air Canada until they become more organized."

I called the flight attendant for help and he checked our boarding passes and asked us to wait at the back of the plane. He stood there for another 10-15 minutes and we were not helped. Finally, another flight crew member came down to the back and asked us to sit in a row almost to the back with barely any legroom. I am 6'2" and was cramped into the seat. It was horrible!!"
