Kein essen für Business Class Passagiere. Covid!

Wenn man schon genug für den Flug bezahlt kann man auch wenigstens umsonst Unterhaltung haben wie z.B. die Filme. Finde ich etwas unverschämt, dafür zu bezahlen müssen.

Boarding und Deboarding völlig unkoordiniert. Keine klaren Ansagen der Crew.

Frankfurt - Paris ist der Business Class lohnt sich nicht - es gibt kaum einen Unterschied!

Angenehmer Flug, sympathische Crew

Cabin crew was terrific, even though they didn't come through the aisles enough between meal service to offer water or drinks. The quantity of video entertainment available was great, but the video screen was not good quality. Food served was sub-par for international business class. Absolutely no snacks were available between meal services, so i suggest bringing something in your carry-on. Most other airlines have some snacks such as small sandwiches, cookies, candy, fruit, or chips available for pickup at the gallery areas on intercontinental flights in business class.

Heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich. Flug war pünktlich, trotz 25 min Taxi in LHR. Bequeme Sitze und sauber! Verständliche Durchsagen in angemessener Lautstärke (DE und engl), bin überrascht. Angenehme Kabinentemperatur (auch nicht selbstverständlich)"
Negativ: "Leider startet Lufthansa vom Terminal 2. Liegt ungünstig, wenn man mit Auto oder Bus an-/Abreist, weil erst der ganze Flughafen umfahren werden muss. 8kg Handgepäcksregelung ist echt nicht zeitgemäß und eine schickane. Mit Laptop, Tablet, Rasierer, Ladekabel und 1x Wechselkleidung knackt man das ganz schnell. Lufthansa Group ist bei manchen Flügen penibler als Ryanair! Es müssen ja keine 23kg sein, aber selbst KLM bietet 12kg."

Negativ: "Im Gegensatz zu meinen bisherigen Flügen mit der Lufthansa in der Business Class war diesmal eine Flugbegleitung für 12 Passagiere alleine zuständig, was bei zwei Kleinkindern und einem "anspruchsvollen" Passagier bereits zu einer ansatzweisen Überforderung geführt hat (Essen und Getränke wurden äußerst zeitverzögert gebracht, Schwimmweste und Anschnallgurt für Kleinkind wurde in zwei Gängen gebracht und der Gurt erst kurz vor der Startbahn der Mutter übergeben. Eine Whiskey Sorte war nur für ein Glas vorhanden und war bei einem rund neunstündigen Flug binnen 15 Minuten vergeben. Äußerst ärgerlich, wenn die gebotenen Alternativen keine sind."

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."
Positiv: "The flight itself was very good The plane was quite new. Very comfortable seats and plenty of leg room with nothing obstructing the foot space. Good inflight entertainment and complimentary earbuds. Flight attendents were capable and friendly, food service better than average."
Negativ: "Check-in at the Air Canada counter was chaotic, a long lineup with only one agent available to direct the crowd. She coped well considering there were multiple people asking questions at the same time. There was a small sign instructing persons who had obtained boarding passes and luggage tags to go to baggage drop but no signs or separate lanes to indicate where that was. Very disorganized. At the gate it was the same scenario. Agents at adjacent desks were calling boarding instructions for multiple flights at the same time. Our Vancouver flight was never actually announced but passengers all started lining up because the stated boarding time had passed. It was impossible to tell which flight was calling for which boarding zones and everyone was wondering out loud "what is going on here?" Once finally aboard we sat on the runway, our flight left an hour late and we missed our connecting flight in Vancouver which, I realize happens. However..."
Negativ: "poor entertainment choices. Reading lights didn't work. I traveled with my wife, we were unable to read because reading lights didn't work."
Positiv: "The flight crew went the extra mile to give good service. There were plenty of meals and snacks throughout the trip."
Negativ: "The bathrooms are cramped, they are clean however. Seats are also very close together, others must get out if you are in a middle or window seat."

Negativ: "Klar, die Flieger werden immer enger... aber für die Umwelt ist es schon besser, wenn dafür weniger Flieger starten also beklage ich mich auch nicht so sehr drüber. Am Besten wäre es, wenn es mehr Züge gäbe für solche kurze Strecken."

Please figure out how to make the online check in work, I was sent an email telling me to do it and the websites did not work, even though I tried several times from different devices. Please fix that!"
Positiv: "The overall performance and teamwork of Air Canada from check-in to landing was the best experience ever with Air Canada. AC has always been my first carrier choice for travelling, and this was the best service in flying the sky with AC."
Negativ: "I find that the previous location for Air Canada for checking in at LAX for departure and arrivals was quiker and easier(stop and go)."

Negativ: "For business class the accommodation was appalling. The seat would not even recline more than a couple of inches, let alone lay flat which is what one is paying for. The touch screen entertainment did not work. The flight arrived too late to make connections - again. The boarding agent at the gate in Los Angeles was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever encountered. I complained to the plane's Captain about him, as he was going through. All the business class passengers around me were commenting on it. One was even filming his egregious behaviour for Facebook. He alone was enough to put one off Air Canada ."

Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."

Positiv: "Flew economy from Los Angeles to Vancouver. Aircraft looked like a newer Airbus A320 with the new Air Canada branding (black lettering against white fuselage). Air Canada check in process has passengers use self service kiosks first and then take the tags and luggage to the counter. The employees at check in were all very efficient and made sure the line didn't get too long. The flight left on time. Every seat had personal entertainment system, and mine worked great. The flight attendants themselves were very professional."
Negativ: "The in flight magazine was water damaged and somewhat soiled (probably from prior passenger's drink). I wish the on ground cleaning crew would take the time to inspect the seat back pockets."

Negativ: "I paid extra to get into the economy plus (or whatever they call it), because when I was completing the ticked purchase online I was presented with a prompt to upgrade, The prompt said that alcoholic beverages were included, as well as a meal or snack from the menu. As is it turns out, that is only offered on certain aircraft. I call that false advertising, and I should get a refund for the upgrade fee i paid!"
Positiv: "- Air Canada reps are nice, just super unhelpful - Friendly team, but not empowered to really help and quick to pass you off to others"
Negativ: "- We tried to check in online and got an error message. When we got to the airport 2 hours before our flight, we were told by customer service rep #1 to join a line. At the front of the line, same rep told us "Oh it's probably that now you need a visa." - Why not tell people when they try to check in why there is an error? The new rule went into effect in December, and we hadn't been to Canada since needing a visa. Once we had been accepted, we were passed off to another employee who couldn't figure out why he couldn't check us in. Then another, who said "I'm only helping you because your flight is delayed, the flight should have closed by now." (Not exactly comforting, and considering it took them 2 hours to help, not super helpful either.) - When we ran to the gate, the people running the gate told us that the aircraft hadn't even landed, but weren't communicative in timing, didn't update the time on the boarding screens, etc."

Negativ: "Flight to Vancouver: Upon arrival I was told that the luggage from my flight 557 was misplaced and put on plane 775. I had to wait an extra two hours for luggage in customs. I was late to the wedding festivities in Whistler that evening. Flight to Los Angeles: The plane was 30 minutes late. We board the plane and discover there is a sensor issue. We wait 30 minutes. then another 30 and then another 30 as more and more news comes about that the problem is not fixable. We de-board and have to wait in a long line at the complete opposite end of the airport. By 1:00am the line has barely moved and all hotel vouchers has been used. I have to spend the evening on a bench in the airport as a single woman- not comforting. I missed important meetings the next day as I am on the flight home. I understand accidents happen but it happened on both my way there and back. My flight home should have been refunded as it put me in a very insecure position and effected my work performance."
Negativ: "A very obese man sat on my side and took half of my seat. The crew ignored me till we were on the air. They were very unprofessional. They found a seat for me. I approached them and told them that I was willing to pay half of a business seat, just let me go. The crew was unwilling and threanned me by returning the plane before it took off. I was not treated with respect. Next Tuesday I will fly back to Los Angeles with air Canada. I am sorry but this experience has taught me to fly no more with your company. Rabbi Moises Benzaquen"

Negativ: "Where to start, I have taken Air Canada 1 time before to Regina and you lost my luggage, luckily it was on the flight home. This time check in was very disorganized and unprofessional (I got scolded when my luggage bumped the post that forms the line that was set up after half the passengers were there making the last to show up first in line.) The flight was delayed and hour for a broken air mask upon departure . The monitor screens were hard to see and harder to hear. Upon arrival we sat for 30 minutes because they couldn't shut the engines down. Customs was a breeze but the walk from terminal to customize to the next terminal had me winded, luckily my connecting Air Canada flight was late also . And this was the better part of my experience. My flight to Athens was miserable ( lots of screaming children spread out through the plane). And when I thought it was over my luggage was separated and lost for 3 days. I should send you the underwear as a reminder of my experience"

No entertainment for a transatlantic flight? Shocking. If you had an iPad you could log into their wifi and watch limited tv programs. Movies could only be viewed through their app. The seating was quite cramped too! I'm average height and foknd that the leg space was v limited!"
