Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

On a 5pm flight out of Toronto, all the hot food choices were gone by the time they were 8 rows into food and beverage service. I'm seriously thinking of moving my loyalty status to West Jet. If only they had flight passes."

I felt bad for her... Also, it was not clearly written or easy to understand where our gate was at Cleveland Hopkins. It was a small flight, but it could have been clearer."

Negativ: "I was held aside at the customs area and had a difficult time figuring out what was going on. Signage was less than helpful, and staff were unaware of why I was being held. After over 30 minutes during which the gate staff could only tell me to wait and watch for my initials on the electronic board, the staff learned that some bags on my arrival flight had been accidentally diverted to Canadian customs rather than US customs, and passengers could not proceed to connecting flights until our bags were located. The customer service staff then worked very hard on our problem. I was instructed to re-book my flight, since by now the doors were about to close - but that customer service person could not re-book me, and I had to queue up again for another agent. When I got to the desk, that agent was able to get me approved to board my flight sans bag, ran me to the front of the Immigration line, and got me to my gate in time to board. I deeply appreciate her assistance, as my family was already on the plane."

When we landed, we were stuck on the plane for an extra half hour (after a 10 hour flight) because customs couldn't take us. I will never fly through Toronto again. This was my second experience with Air Canada there (and the first time my luggage was lost on the way to Brussels) and it is a complete disaster. Customs was the most complicated least organized process I had ever been through. There were 3 different spots to go through, I showed my passport and boarding pass a million times, stations were understaffed and the staff was unhappy, grumpy and snapping at airline guests. Additionally there was no free entertainment on the 10 hour flight."
