In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks."

The basmati rice had the consistency of oatmeal. The first meal was tasteless and the second meal had too much hot spice, but still no flavour. The bread they gave with the meal was tiny and tasteless compared to the lovely ciabatta rolls served with the regular meals."

The Lat seat doesn't recline so I was forced to sit sideways, feet in aisle while people heading to the bathroom head to step over me. She did nothing to help."

She ignored the situation and went in the back behind her curtain to knit while I sat sideways the entire flight with my feet in the aisle. People going to the bathroom were forced to step over my feet, but at least they were sympathetic"

We would have been able to get onto the flight from Toronto to Milan because we made it to the gate in time but because our baggage was not with us we had to take the next flight that then took us to the U.K. and then to Milan. With the next air canada flight also being delayed, go figure. We finally arrive in Milan and with an entire day gone to explore the city. We waited 2 hours for luggage when our bags never came we checked lost and found and it turns out that our luggage was still in Toronto. Seriously Air Canada? Our luggage hasn't even left Toronto yet? So much for not being able to catch or last flight because our bags were not with us. We finally get our luggage a day later on the exact same flight we would have taken the day before, had Air Canada not screwed everything up."

There wasn't enough room for me to reach my bag that was on the ground even when the seat in front of me wasn't reclined. I'm a small person so if I feel crammed on a flight I have no idea how the average person can tolerate it!"

Wow, talk about being crammed in like a sardine. I'm a male of average height and usually this is a blessing because it feels as though all vehicles, amusement rides and doorways are custom made just for me with the exception of Air Canada planes. I have never in my 300+ number of flights ever felt so confined in any seat. The distance from my knee to the seat in front of me was a claustrophobic finger length at best. Getting up to use the restroom required the other passengers to get up, and I had to stand and walk across their seats to get in/out. Luckily the lady next to me was nice enough and the flight was pleasant overall, but I will certainly think twice before booking another Air Canada flight!!!"
