Positiv: "We paid extra $200 round-trip so that my 6’4” tall husband and 6’2” son could have extra legroom. There was at least an extra foot of space between the end of their knees and the reclined seats in front of them. Wow. It was worth it! We had the aisle behind business class, and with only 3 middle seats vs 4, even our aisles were comfortably wide. The seat comfort has improved greatly from past flights on Lufthansa. The small pillows at each seat were comfy. We liked that the silverware was actually metal instead of plastic - nice! Loved loved loved the free good quality alcohol! Air temperature felt comfortable to us doing the entire flight – normally these flights are freezing cold."

Aus nicht ersichtlichen Gründen wurden bereits zuvor Flüge von LH und EW nach MUC annulliert. Erst gegen 21 Uhr erfolgte die Snkündigung dass 21:45 die neue Abflugszeit wäre. Gestartet ist die Maschiene dann um 22:05 Uhr. Die Kommunikation war sehr schlecht, das Bodenpersonal schloss bis zuletzt keine Annulierung aus."

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

This is the worse international flight as far as room or food. Requested for an exit row seat but was told it was an additional $125 charge. A group of four us traveled on this trip and we had the same consensus and won't be recommending Air Canada."

Negativ: "The check-in person said my baggage (oversized, and a keyboard) would make it through to my final destination even though I had another flight on a separate reservation. I specifically asked because I wanted to know if I needed to pick it up when I landed after the first leg in Toronto. He said I'd only have to go through customs and my bag will make it all the way home to Vancouver. Well, I felt weird about it and when I got off in Toronto I noticed that my baggage receipt said Toronto on it (not Vancouver). I decided to forego the connections gate because I was unsure. Lucky that I did because lo and behold, my keyboard bag was waiting for me at baggage claim. Had I trusted the check-in guy, I would've possibly lost over $1000 worth of equipment. That's not something that can easily be forgiven."

First time I flew into Vancouver I was exhausted which makes sense as I had to fall out of bed at 3am, but this time I was awake and well rested and it still felt draining (which generally doesn’t happen to me with flights). Maybe it’s the leg space and the seats? Not sure. Could also be the odd time zone crossing."

These things happen, and they were very professional and sympathetic about it, but under the circumstances I can't give it more than 3 stars overall."

I understand now the restrictions to bringing over 120ml bottles but they refused to even pour out half the contents (which they took into consideration on the toronto side) my bottles were only 125ml.... what a joke this airline is. i was flying alone and hadnt travelled from an airport in 15 years- emails i received DID NOT specify the restrictions of what you're allowed to bring in carry ons. how is someone new to this experience supposed to know?????????they simply told me there is a website i can go to to see the restrictions... but that website is not mentioned ANYWHERE. The airport staff were extremely rude and cold while ripping apart my bags because of toiletry bottles. I have an extreme anxiety disorder that made me have a panic attack during the baggage inspect and I was given looks as if i was crazy. absolutely disgusting people working in the airport environments. They caused me a world of stress. I will never in my life fly Air Canada again."

So my honest opinion is that I am extremely disappointed and deeply saddened by this evtire ordeal now I have to spend more money to purchase another ticket with another airline to go home.
