The flight was delayed about an hour (due to weather, not your fault), so our connection was tight. We alerted the agent at the gate (along with several others). She didn't help at all. She just told us to go to the gate. Well, we had to go through customs, so that wasn't helpful. What we were asking is if she could alert the gate agents at the next flight that we were running as fast as we could. 4. So five of us get to the next gate as they're paging us that the doors are closing. 5. Our bags didn't make the flight, which wasn't unexpected, but it was worrisome when the agent at our final destination told us she couldn't tell where they were."

So, things get more and more delayed. Can't you predict roughly when the plane is going to land (once it is in the air!) and arrange for some gate to be open, so that we don't have to sit on the ground for 45 minutes once it has landed, for example? People who know how to organize are ordinarily capable of doing that. Furthermore, the lack of transparency is really frustrating: we just sit on the tarmac with no indication of how long we're going to be there, and the estimates of the delays are completely wrong when we're given them."
