Freundlichste Betreuung während des gesamten Fluges. Wegen der Kaschmir-Krise wurde der Flug umgeleitet und dauerte ca 40 Minuten länger. Mit Laptop, Tablet, Rasierer, Ladekabel und 1x Wechselkleidung knackt man das ganz schnell. Lufthansa Group ist bei manchen Flügen penibler als Ryanair! Es müssen ja keine 23kg sein, aber selbst KLM bietet 12kg."

After running like crazy to find this gate for departure, the plane had already departed before we even landed. There wasn’t anyone around to help, and finally I found an airport worker who gave me the same incorrect information. She was as perplexed as was I. Finally, she directed me to the information booth where I was booked in a flight the next day. The food voucher was insufficient to cover dinner, i had to pay out of my pocket but I was frugal given the financial situation. The taxi service personnel were rude and it took a long time to taxi me to the hotel where I am unable to sleep because I have an early morning g departure. All in all, between the airport delays getting me to the hotel, lack of proper food and treatment by personnel, I am exhausted and lost sleep in the process."

Negativ: "The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like."

Positiv: "I never try Austrian airlines because this trip was my first trip with them and I'll say that it's one of the best trips I ever had the airport at Vienna it's very small and easy to go anywhere you want and it's super clean and the stuff at the airport are very helpful and they all speak English and I was able to get a hotel room with walking destination from the airport and it was a very good experience overall I'll definitely recommend to anyone and I'll definitely keep them on my top list"

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

I was located in an extra room chair (free) due to this adjustment of delayed flights and was a great experience."

Negativ: "My flight was at 6 am and I fell ill with strep throat the morning of. I had not gotten flight cancellation insurance so I had no choice but to board the flight while feeling sick. The illness got rapidly worse and before I knew it I had a fever and was nauseous and dizzy and was overall feeling terrible. For the first half of the flight I tried to sit through it, but it became too much as I was squished into a middle seat and was overheating extremely due to the fever and started to get overwhelmed and felt claustrophobic. At this point I decided that I could not wait out the rest of the flight in this middle seat so I went to talk to the flight attendants to ask to be moved to a seat with more space. Now, I had not slept at all the night before (because I had to take the bus to the airport at 2 am) and felt very overwhelmed with being so sick and so when I went to talk to the flight attendant I started to cry and told them I was feeling claustrophobic and wished to be moved to a seat with more space because I was very ill. I emphasized that I was sick and had to repeat this many times, but the flight attendants seemed to think I was having an anxiety episode even though I repeated many times that I was very sick. It took them HALF AN HOUR to find me a new seat. I spent this time standing while I felt extremely dizzy like I was going to pass out. I feel the situation was handled very poorly. Two of your flight attendants started trying to counsel me on anxiety and seemed to completely disregard the fact that I was extremely ill and that was causing me to feel claustrophobic (to put things in perspective, I spent the next 3 days unable to move from my dads couch, unable to eat anything, and had to be taken to the hospital because I could not even drink water). The illness started right before I was getting on the plane and at the time of boarding I had no idea how quickly it would get so bad. As an example of how poorly this was handled, one of the flight attendants handed me a pen and told me to "name my anxiety, and why I was feeling anxious and to write reasons that this may make me feel anxious" it was ridiculous. Here I was, about to pass out I was so dizzy and it took them half an hour to find me a new seat (I understand that the flight was very full but there were empty seats available). I kept repeating, I feel dizzy, I feel nauseous, I'm very sick, I need to sit down, please find me a seat and they spent half an hour trying to give me a therapy session on anxiety. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and feel like it was dealt with terribly by the staff on board. When a customer says I'm very ill with a fever and it's causing them to feel claustrophobic and they need to be moved to a seat with more room, the staff should not spend half an hour trying to counsel them on anxiety while the customer is standing there about to pass out. This experience made me feel like I wish to avoid traveling with Air Canada in the future."

Positiv: "Das Boarding und die Durchführung waren super. Das Personal sprach Französisch. Nicht alles wurde auf Englisch wiederholt. Getränke wurden NUR EIN MAL angeboten. Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."
Negativ: "Kaum Beinfreiheit. Essen nur gehen Geld."

Positiv: "Efficient crew as with the first flight I had, consistent service."
Negativ: "I don’t know if it’s the Vancouver-Mexico route or if it’s the seats but there’s just something difficult about it. First time I flew into Vancouver I was exhausted which makes sense as I had to fall out of bed at 3am, but this time I was awake and well rested and it still felt draining (which generally doesn’t happen to me with flights). Maybe it’s the leg space and the seats? Not sure. Could also be the odd time zone crossing."

Negativ: "The flight was delayed. Boarding was chaotic. Flight itself was choppy."

Negativ: "I made a mistake on my reservation. I thought I made it for July 30tb , but it was for August 30th . They charged over $600.00 to fly home , which is a lot of money to me ."

Negativ: "I flew from Vancouver to Osaka. There was no free entertainment, food was of the embarrassing quality, and the crew was not smiling at all. The cheap price was the only big benefit to claim. It was much worse than expected."

Negativ: "they should give a warning about downloading an entertainment app before an almost 5 hour flight. made no sense that our 1 and half hour flight had built in entertainment and the longer flight required an app"

Negativ: "Why have automated checkin and then still have to wait in massively long line to drop off your luggage. Do it like Jet Blue or Virgin or any of the other airlines.......you show up, auto check in, bag tags, separate line for smart efficient people to drop off their bags and get on with it. Its just so inefficient and puts a complete damper on the trip......maybe curbside checkin also."

Negativ: "Long delay, but weather dictated this."

Negativ: "Being crammed into a tiny seat without any outlets or monitors. Being hit with a ton of extra fees for seat selection and baggage. If you dont pay to select your seat and wait 24 hours before the flight to do so you risk losing your spot on that flight, such BS. Im surprised they didnt charge me a seatbelt usage fee."

Positiv: "Dieser kurze Flug verlief schnell und komfortabel. Es gab Internetzugang am Board, der gut funktionierte."

Negativ: "In seat entertainment screen didnt work. Had to wait for nearly two hours to de-ice the plane even though they were expecting freezing rain, they didnt seem prepared."

Negativ: "The air canada Rouge entertainment is not updated. It had all the same shows / movies more than a week later. They should change entertainment selection more frequently."

Negativ: "Flight was boarded from the front - back, that is the last row boarded last. It makes some sense that first or business class boards early but the rest is at least inefficient and causes everyone to be standing around in the aisle."

Negativ: "flight attendant burned my stomach and belly ,she fck lazy gave me and put a broken cup of hot tea into another good cup instead of threw that broken cup away and should give me only one good tea cup , so the fluid drained out between two cup, and fck burned me . How the stupid she is !!! After that they didn't come to ask me anything until i come to show them and complained , and requested a report. I got a picture and all evidence to show .i swore that its fck hot and burned me too...ooo....bad !!"

Negativ: "I had a window seat and there really wasn't a lot of leg room because of how the body of the plane curves. Food was ok. Not a lot of elbow room to eat."

Negativ: "Flight was delayed. Announcement was made at the last minute. There wasn't enough space for carry-on luggage, mostly because the flight crew let people hog space leaving less for everybody else."

Positiv: "On time, a huge variety of new movies, the meal was very good."

Positiv: "Legroom and entertainment were both good. Food can be improve."
Negativ: "Boarding was bad in Zurich, unorganized. Need improvement"

Positiv: "it is on time no hassle every things is smooth"

Positiv: "Boarding was relatively painless. Flight was on time. What i didnt like was the crew. The flight from Toronto to Los Angeles was five hours. They had the fasten seat belts light on the entire trip because they said the turbulence was bad. I have been on alot of flights and let me tell you that the turbulence was not bad at all. After three hours prople decided enough was enough and started going to the restroom. The crew would get all bent out of shape and get on the PA yo please stay in your seats and not use the restrooms at this time. Really!! Well that didnt happen. The only thing they give you is one free drink. No penuts, cookies or pretzels. If you want food you have to pay for it. I sat by the window and my window was all greasy. I couldent really see out of it. I did use the rest room and it was pretty clean."

Positiv: "The crew was always very attentive and with a smile. Food was hot and the drinks kept coming."

Positiv: "Super fast and easy process. Glad I flew air Canada"
Negativ: "I had to pay for the food for my 4hr flight. It use to be that you were provided the food at no additional cost."

Negativ: "Flights get cancelled or delayed all the time so that's not what was so upsetting. It was the way we were informed about these delays. The staff were jest rude, making a bad experience even worse. Then they lost my bags, couldn't track them, couldn't tell me where they were. And I was flying out to another country for a tour next day so that was very inconvenient. I won't be flying with this airline again. They don't know what good customer service is."

Positiv: "Everyone was nice and friendly,"
Negativ: "They changed our gate 3 times, and delayed our flight an hour and a half. It was extremely irritating and time consuming."
