Flight service got cancelled 6 hrs before our travel then we had find an other way to travel. Totally disappointed
We were all boarded and ready to depart, and then there were maintenance issues that delayed us. Couldn’t that have been discovered sooner?
Leaving Miami to Austin was a mess! TSA needs to do better job!

Super Besatzung wirkte auf mich gestresst ganzes Team war auch untereinander nicht harmonisch. Bordunterhaltung gabs nur in Oben alle 3 bis Sitzreihen einen TV dort konnte man Film schauen, nicht nach eigener Wahl. Sonst konnte man Film und Unterhaltung im Händy oder schauen Tablet herunterladen.Brauchst einfach gute Batterien dafür es gab keine Auflade Möglichkeiten, nur am Airport."
Negativ: "Besatzung Bordunterhaltung Verpflegung,alles mit Kartongschachteln wurdest nicht gefragt was du willst. Wurde einfach wauf den Klapptisch hingeknallt. Alles in allem sonst ruhig sauber und in Ordnung."
Positiv: "Dass ich sogar einen Kaffe und einkleiner Snack in Form von kleienem Keks bekam. Ich war vorbereitet, dass ich nichts erhalte.Hatte etwas zu Essen dabei. Freundliches Personal Bordunterhaltung nur bezahlbar und übers Laptop oder Handy Hatte Auflade Möglichkeiten beim vorder Sitz.."
Positiv: "Free tv to distract me from my state of misery"
Negativ: "Too warm on flight. Was so nauseated the whole time."
Positiv: "I liked the arts and craft show that was showing on the plane."
Negativ: "As I came into the airport I went to a kiosk to check in and the attendant at the kiosk basically took over my passport and started pushing buttons that I never asked her to push. I eventually got my boarding passes only to find I wasn’t assigned a seat for the first flight and I will get it later at the gate. After getting through security my name was called for a extra security screening which I thought was interesting since I have Global Entry and am an American citizen. Weird. Because my name was called I had to get to the gate early. Upon arriving to the gate the gate agent confirmed I have extra security screening and she would assign my seat soon. After waiting some time she assigned me to a middle seat in the last row of the plane! After boarding someone came and sat next to me that was overweight and should have been charged for 2 seats. With such a long flight it’s the least American can do."

Negativ: "Our connecting flight to New Orleans was cancelled and we had to rent a car or wait until the next flight out which was 5pm the next day. We opted to rent a car and Had to cancel our return flight home to be refunded. American Airlines cancelled multiple flights and were in total disarray. Still waiting to see if they will honor the refund"

Other passengers continue to be the hardest part of flying now.

Positiv: "Crew were accommodating. Not enough leg room."
Negativ: "More elbow and leg room."

Negativ: "For relatively new aircraft, the comfort of AC’s 787-8 economy seats is not up to par. A frame cross member presses the back of the buttocks, there is minimal lower back support, and no protection from the hands and knees of passengers behind."
Negativ: "fragte man sich leider auf diesem Flug. Keine Monitore mit den Infos zum Flug (wo sind wir, wie lange dauert es noch, etc...) Kannte ich so noch nicht. Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."
Negativ: "I was unable to check in online, then waited in line at the counter for 45 minutes to then be redirected to AirCanada counter, where I then had to walk back and forth across the airport with their representative to have them 'find' my ticket, which was supposedly lost. It would have been nice to be informed via email, which counter I should check in at and also, confirmation that they had my ticket. Fortunately I showed up 3 hours early, because I needed every minute of it."
Positiv: "Lots of choices for entertainment. Our tickets were booked as a family of 3 and we did get placed together this time in a row of 3 seats."
Negativ: "Nothing was bothersome. Everything was satisfactory."
Positiv: "Alles gut, wie erwartet. Cool, dass Internet im Angebot war."
Negativ: "Klar, die Flieger werden immer enger... aber für die Umwelt ist es schon besser, wenn dafür weniger Flieger starten also beklage ich mich auch nicht so sehr drüber. Am Besten wäre es, wenn es mehr Züge gäbe für solche kurze Strecken."
Positiv: "Service was excellent - staff was very attentive, pleasant and helpful and seemed like they truly enjoyed their job. We will definitely use them again when flying from Montreal"
Positiv: "The efficiency."
Negativ: "The fact that I paid all this money and yet I couldn't get a decent meal. Unbelievable. I've been flying for years -- long enough to remember when flying was less expensive and we actually got more. Today we pay all kinds of taxes and fees; we pay to bring our luggage (as if we could pay for a ticket to go abroad and do so without clothing), and yet we get get less for our dollar. I wish someone in the offices actually thought about that AND did something to make flying with Air Canada what it was."
Positiv: "Rouge is not air Canada"
Negativ: "As someone who flies AC quite abit. Rouge is not AC"
Positiv: "Based on the conditions had on smooth on eventful flight. After all middle of the hurricane to have a good flight is great"
Negativ: "Nothing I'm thankful"
Positiv: "Flew Business Class from LAX to YYZ and the flight attendant was great."
Negativ: "Flew on an A320-200 and the cabin is a bit dated compared to its US competitors. The inflight entertainment system is dated and needs an upgrade and the food offered was mediocre."
Positiv: "Das Boarding und die Durchführung waren super. Das Personal sprach Französisch. Nicht alles wurde auf Englisch wiederholt. Getränke wurden NUR EIN MAL angeboten. Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."
Negativ: "Kaum Beinfreiheit. Essen nur gehen Geld."
Positiv: "Flights were on time and very comfortable"
Negativ: "On the way to Barcelona, We didn't have access to any online media during the flight because their wifi wasn't working properly and we couldn't download the app. On the return, we downloaded the app prior to boarding but the app failed to work properly!"
Positiv: "I did not enjoy my first experience with Air Canada Rouge. everything seemed last minute."
Negativ: "I didn't like that their counter doesn't open until 2 hours before the flight, even international. small plane and it was delayed both ways. Never again"
Negativ: "Having to download entertainment app beforehand isn't made clear"
Positiv: "The boarding process"
Negativ: "Seats uncomfortable, no entertainment except dated material, crowded, overhead luggage does not fit a 20in bag except sideways, very inefficient use of space. Given the choice a rouge flight would be my last choice."
Positiv: "Dieser kurze Flug verlief schnell und komfortabel. Es gab Internetzugang am Board, der gut funktionierte."
Positiv: "Everything went well with this trip home, the service was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A real improvement from earlier Air Canada flights. Flights left on time, a bonus."
Positiv: "The courtesy of the attendants. Boarding was a breeze."

Negativ: "My seat partner had a dog with her. I like dogs but it was more of a irritant and distraction, didn't seem that nice for the dog either. What happened to the pretzel/nut snacks?"

Negativ: "leider ist die standard-economy-klasse viel enger geworden"
Positiv: "Great crew and helpers on the ground too! Loved the entertainment too! :)"
Negativ: "I wish Air Canada sent check-in emails for flights in as well as out. I didn't get a reminder check-in email when I was flying out and that worried me a bit that there may be something wrong with my reservation. It also irritated me that because I had booked my flight through Kayak and not Air Canada directly I was not able to make any changes to the reservation online - I had to call their reservation phone number (from another country) and be put on hold for 20 minutes (so needless to say it was an expensive phone call)."
Positiv: "Good boarding routine, I liked that you told people to wait their turn to board. Good entertainment options. We made it safe and sound."
Negativ: "Was seated next to a crying/screaming baby for the duration of the flight (5.5 hours). Also was never offered any snacks (cookies or crackers). Landing was rougher then expected."
Positiv: "Not much."
Negativ: "Everything was slow. We had been in the air for more than an hour before any drinks were offered. Also what kind of decent airline charges for alcohol on an 11-hour transatlantic flight? The entertainment options were limited, especially if you didn't bring your own device with the Air Canada app installed as there were no screens in the seats. The aircraft interior was dated and worn. The crew were curt and not helpful. I just expected better from the national airline of Canada."

Negativ: "The selection of movies was poor. not enough current releases. would have liked to have an alcoholic drink for free. (one would be nice)"

Positiv: "Crew were reasonably patient, but rather impossible to please passengers with type of flight and discomfort."
Negativ: "One bathroom for all of the plane? Perhaps 1st class (tiny) has its own bathroom, but otherwise, the aisle was 10+ people in-line for the ENTIRE flight, as 1 bathroom. Really miserable for all concerned. Seats are too tight, entertainment system works only some of the time, seats old and uncomfortable. Did not seat family together (flight full). Overall, one of the worst long-distance flights I have ever had. Should not fly this kind of plane with this many people and not enough facilities."
Positiv: "That it brought me to my destination"
Negativ: "I' a small person is this i entirely uncomfortable, so i can't imagine what it's like for bigger ppl. BTW seems like Air Canada was just opening at 4am, so there were huge lines for checkin but no people were attending the Air Canada counters. THen at about 4:30 they all started coming out. For a 6am flight ppl are supposed to be there 2 hours before. I usually don't feel nauseated on planes but I did for this ride."
Positiv: "The gate agent was in a really good mood, and I made her laugh, so she bumped me into business class. The flight crew was awesome."
Negativ: "Old, sad, smelly, loud, poor upholstery, seat structure so old and so stressed the guy in front of me was almost in my lap."
Negativ: "The gate signage and control at Toronto was not good at all! I accidentally got onto the wrong plane!!! Luckily I didn't fall asleep immediately and heard them announce prior to takeoff that they were going to Nashville, and also luckily the Syracuse plane had not taken off yet either."
Positiv: "The staff were friendly"
Negativ: "The flight ran late and we were not kept up to date on what was going on....... In addition I prepaid for my meal and when the trolly service got to me in row 33 they told me the food was finished but I could get some snacks. They then brought me a variety of snacks. It was my understanding that a meal would have been available to customers in flight once it has been prepaid.. This was very poor customer service"

Negativ: "The variety of new movies was somewhat limited when compared to United."

Negativ: "Poor planning no backup aircraft I knew status via apps before staff did"
Negativ: "They could have rushed more to get us off the ground quicker."
