Turkish Airline is absolutely terrible!
The pre-boarding crew in Istanbul for the flight to NYC did not have accurate information on Covid requirements - kept insisting I need a PCR test, when in fact an antigen test was sufficient for my category of travel. Created unnecessary tension.
The crew at checking give us a hard time even with two children and one Enfant for no reason just for 2 kilo overweight they make us stay there for like one hour be careful with that Not helpful at all and so weird people bad experience bad experience

Leider bleibt der Platz aber doch eingeengt, und die Sitze eng. Aber der Preis ist gut! Ich kann Türkisch Airlines nur empfehlen."

The business class seats are uncomfortable, they don't recline far enough or provide adequate leg and foot support. The breakfast is not good at all and they seem to fry or provide stale croissants and danishes - they are always so hard and difficult to eat."

Negativ: "Same cannot be said for ground staff including managers. I had to explain several times that crowds are a trigger for my son with autism. I asked for preferential boarding, was given any. Asked for assistance with security, this was only given after I had to fight for it. Staff need to be aware that when we ask for it, it’s not because we want preferential treatment, we are trying to avoid a meltdown for our kids that get super stressed out by situations such as these. My child cannot stand still for long and runs away. When I stopped him to talk him though the process so he doesn’t run, we got hurried. Empathy will go a long way...."

There were problems with boarding that delayed the flight by an hour. Also, the boarding at Muscat’s new airport wasn’t great with the lounge telling us to board while, at the gate, boarding hadn’t started. MIght not be much of a problem except the kids were sleeping on our shoulders and there were no seats at the gates."

Supervisor was extremely unreasonable and was not willing to understand that weight issue doesn't apply on duty free shopping."
Positiv: "It is worth it to pay a little more for exit seats. They were very comfortable. The agents at checkin were very helpful. I came with a backpack, a roller bag I often can carry on and another bag to check.The bag allowance was just one to check. They wouldn't let me carry on my roller bag because it was too heavy. They encouraged me first to rearrange the luggage to make the one light enough to carry on, by putting some in the other bag that was being checked, But I explained that bag was already full. So they urged me to get my two bags wrapped together so that there would not be an extra bag charge. The ticket agent also came out to look for me---I hadn't realized they boarded so early---and walked with me to the gate. That was very nice of them. There were snacks and beverages on both flights and friendly stewardesses, and lots of movies to choose from."

Negativ: "Der Flieger, der anscheinend fix zwischen München und Muscat pendelt ist bereits über seine besten Jahre hinaus. Neben vielen kleinen, kosmetischen Mängeln, die mich nicht weiter stören, waren etliche Kopfhörer defekt, die Bildschirme in den Rückenlehnen lassen sich zwar klappen, kippen aber immer in die "nach unten Position" zurück, was das Multimediaangebot nahezu ungenießbar macht. Außer man stopft diverse Gegenstände zwischen Sitzlehne und Monitor, sodass dieser seine Position hält. Das Personal könnte öfter mit einem Getränkeangebot durchgehen. 2x ein kleines Becherchen in 6 Stunden finde ich wenig und bewirkt, daß reger Verkehr zwischen Küche und Sitzplätzen herscht (nervig). Der Sitzabstand für Personen über 1,85m ist auch mehr als bescheiden. Um die Knie zusammenzubringen muß man ganz aufrecht, im Anschlag an die Rückenlehne sitzen, was meines Erachtens keiner macht, geschweigedenn durchhält. Allerdings ist dieser Umstand mittlerweile bei fast allen Fluggesellschaften zu verzeichnen. Aber mit Recht kann man die Economy als "Schweineklasse" bezeichnen, weil genauso wird man eingepfercht."

Positiv: "Always KUDOS as SAUDIA attendant crew is always smiles and quick excellent service. Pilots always greet on and off the flight, I am sold on Saudia. Take it from me, 3200 flights since 1969 and I still coach-it for the comradery and extra efforts that other airlines forgot a decade ago."

In Beirut there were three security checks and then at the gate a gate agent questioned me on whether I had food in my carry-on bag. I had none, but what if I did? Why should he care? On the jet way a Saudia crewmember hand sorted through my luggage and others checking for what? I had no contraband. We know where we were headed."
