The economy seats were ok in terms of comfort. Food was terrible and much worse than on prior trips on Qatar and other middle eastern airlines.

Seats could’ve been more comfortable

Die First Class von Emirates ist sagenhaft. Kann ich nur schwerstens weiterempfehlen. Die Kabinen, Toiletten/Duschen, das Personal, Essen und Onboard-Unterhaltung wird man nur schwer toppen können.

Negativ: "Boarding: by bus at BKK on a Boeing 777, not as expected with emirates, gate was set as “G1A”, we read this as Gate 1A, but needed to run from A1 all the way to G1, got late on the bus. Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."

Flug 3h Verspätung bereits 15 min nach dem check-in. Neue Crew freundlich und alle Gaeste wolten einfch schnell nach hause, somit zuegiges boarding.

Die neue Boardverpflegung von Swiss Economy ist echt hervorragend: frisch, geschmackvoll, schön präsentiert und erst noch sehr preiswert.

Die Pünktlichkeit bei Swiss lässt zu wünschen übrig. Jede Woche mindestens 45 Minuten bis zu zu 105 Minuten Verspätung sind ein absolutes NoGo!

So i haft to help my mom transfer to the gate. Very bad service especially to elderly and dis abled"

The return trip was delayed from Hong Kong to Taiwan and Taiwan to Los Angeles. Both delays were only announced at the time of the original boarding time."
Positiv: "There were screens on the headrest in front of us and they had new tv shows, music and movies all for free. The flight crew was nice."

Negativ: "I had surgery on my leg a few days before my flight and it was doctors order to have my leg elevated on the flight home. I spoke to the airline at the desk before boarding and told them my condition and that i needed a seat to lay down and prop my leg up and they assured me i was going to have that. Once i boarded they gave me a seat with not enough leg room and i couldn't elevate my leg. I tried to tell they flight attendants over and over about my condition and they moved me to another seat that didn't even make a difference. My leg got extremely swollen on the plane ride and i had to go to urgent care as soon as i landed at LAX. i will never fly China Airlines again, i want a refund!!!!!!"
Negativ: "Got to the gate and flight was booked, no seat, I was not on the list. Have trying to get refund by phone and e mail without response. Will never buy anything ever with kayak unless I get fully refunded."

Positiv: "Our first SAS flight from Stockholm was delayed, so when we landed in Hong Kong, an agent met us at the gate and rushed with our passport to the transfer desk to help us get our connecting boarding pass, otherwise we would not have made it to the connecting flight on China Airlines to Taipei, and even our luggages arrived with us amazingly!"

Positiv: "The girls at the China Airline counter saw i was really worried and freaking out about my flight and they helped me to the fullest."
Negativ: "I couldn't check in early cause Kayak gives a confirmation number and nothing else. I had to wait in the counter line instead of skipping it like i would do with most travel sites. I was very close to missing my flight but thank god they had a delay. I also left early for problems like these and still had difficulties. And it's impossible to call Kayak, especially if you live in Japan like me."
