I don’t think this had anything to do with the airline, but every flight with them was so quiet (no crying babies/children, loud adult conversations), I thought I could hear the pin drop! Their safety demonstration was uniquely done by dancer, which made it interesting to watch every time! I left my jacket on one of my flights, but they returned it to me when I boarded the next flight - I was gratefully surprised! They had complementary tooth brush/toothpaste, ear plugs and eye masks in the restrooms. I thought this was a good way to reduce passing out items not all passengers wanted. I wish all airlines could copy these amazing features from them."
Negativ: "Their meals were underwhelming- in four flights on my trip, they were basically the same main course. The rolls with margarine, same fruit and strongly cultural seasoned vegetables that were served every time, all of which I could not eat. I have liked every airline meals and hospital food, but their food was below institutional food quality. For an Asian airline, the flight attendants were rather crude in their speech and mannerisms. I could barely hear and understand the announcements in spite the fact that passengers were extremely quiet. Their choices of movies were very poor; it seemed that 3 out of 4 flights had similar options."

Flight overbooked in economy and many seats available elsewhere, they should offer for a little more money but leave empty while everyone is crammed like sardines"

Positiv: "The flight to Taiwan from LAX was miserable. It was so hot i sweated the entire 14 hours. Was told they cannot adjust it. Easier to get blanket to be warm no way to cool off"
Positiv: "It's hard to get a flight out of Vietnam one-time using their cheap local carriers so I went with an international brand. At $200 roundtrip, I was worried there were going to be a bunch of charges for things as well as delays. But low and behold, UNI/EVA seems to have figured out cheap tickets that run on schedule and includes all the normal perks like luggage. 1:50am flight is perfect, left Vietnam on time and even arrived in Taipei ahead of schedule! I would definitely fly them again."
Negativ: "My only complaint is the lighting. There is too much going on in the cabin for a 1:50am flight. I wish they wouldn't serve food and not turn the lights on and off as its difficult to sleep. Also the flight attendants were very peculiar about just how much my bag was under the seat."

Negativ: "Hated being told at checkin that my regulation size carry on bags were slightly over weight and my only option was to go over on the floor and open them up to redistribute the weight. I was reluctantly fine with checking one of the bags, however not with being treated so carelessly and disrespectfully. I am not the kind of person that is ok with being put in that situation. As an airline I understand you need to have rules and guidelines to function, however sending me over to open my luggage on the floor in front of 1000's of other people is just humiliating!! If that is such a strict policy you really should have a space with some kind of privacy available and set up for customers to prepare to make things meet your standards. Then he changed my seat assignment for some reason and put me in an exit row..... not explaining that there is NO SPACE AT ALL for ANY carry on bags. That means no pills nearby that I needed, or headphones, magazines, iPads etc. I was really mad when I sat down and immediately asked to be moved. Luckily someone was willing to trade. Needed more to eat on a 14 hour flight also. Was really hungry."

Very Spacious flight you can ask to move where someone is not seated. inflight entertainment was great, and great food! Bathrooms were clean. Service was lovely with members going round taking polaroid photos for memories of a journey. This was my first long haul flight and it went so smoothly thanks to the emirates team.
Airline can do a better job on board seating and oomfort
Die First Class von Emirates ist sagenhaft. Kann ich nur schwerstens weiterempfehlen. Die Kabinen, Toiletten/Duschen, das Personal, Essen und Onboard-Unterhaltung wird man nur schwer toppen können.
The ewr Athens Dubai plane did not have USB ports

Positiv: "I had a fast and easy check-in at Denpasar airport. In flight service by cabin crew was very good, as I normally get in the business class at Emirates. Flight left Denpasar on time and arrived in Auckland some 30 mins early, which was nice. Enjoyed a late dinner - the mie goreng ayam was particularly tasty!"
Negativ: "In the past on overnight flights Emirates I have received a pyjama set in the Business Class, which made it very comfortable to sleep. But this time this was not given, so I had to sleep in my day-wear, which was a bit uncomformtable."

Food: Chicken with peppers average, no good taste Drinks: had to broken cups, one on the top (changed that), one at the bottom with a hole in it. Red wine spilled all over my trousers and pullover. Shit happens, but (a) what about the quality of the goods and (b) how does the crew handle this? Crew/Service: Generally friendly, but the guy who served the red wine had no clue how to handle this: 1. Red wine on cloth is bad to clean 2. After I complained about a possible problem with cleaning and the possibility that the stain would stay, no reaction, only sortiere and the Recommendation from him was to use soda water which was actually not at hand and took him more then 10min to bring it. 3. I requested for the supervisor. She was very friendly and took my email address to write a report on this. I am now waiting for reaction and possible refund for cleaning or more. Another drink was offered but that was all until now. So I am curious about the reaction from Emirates. Overall it seemed like Emirates has a bad standing in BKK: - Bus boarding on B777 - No clear information about gate - Bad quality of material (cups) - For Emirates under average food quality Additional remark: The following connection flight from DXB to DUS, was very good, overall quality as expected from Emirates, food and staff was very good. So the above review from BKK -> DXB might have been an exception."
