Weg mit der Maskenpflicht! Sonst alles gut.

Dienstleistung wurde nicht geliefert wie gebucht und ich musste trotzdem Stornierungskosten übernehmen. Nie wieder.

OMG! The 5/21/2022 flight was canceled after we were on board over 3 hours! NO AIR CANADA rep to help! No Air Canada gate to check in with. It was total chaos at the Lisbon airport. Trying to get out today, 5/22/2022, the Air Canada agent said we. needed a new Covid test, only to find out AFTER we paid 20EU, that it was NOT needed. They were not educated on the rules, even though they knew they were checking in people from the canceled flight. Totally UNACCEPTABLE! I will never fly Air Canada again, operated. Y Lufthansa. I plan to post on Facebook and Twitter how bad this was.

After 3 hours of phoning I found that flight from Munich to Toronto wasn’t available for date that was given us in email. Only option was day earlier or later. Left us to take day earlier and we could not changed last flight( Toronto- Thunder Bay). We had to come on Aug 22. and stay in Toronto for 27 hours and than take a flight to Thunder Bay on Aug 23. We lost a day of our vacation, had to stay at hotel. Not good experience at all. We still don’t know whom to complain about that."

Freundlichste Betreuung während des gesamten Fluges. Wegen der Kaschmir-Krise wurde der Flug umgeleitet und dauerte ca 40 Minuten länger. Wir konnten den buchstäblich erstklassigen Service also länger nutzen. Die Flugbegleiterinnen hatten in der Ausnahmesituation alle Hände voll zu tun. Wir haben uns trotzdem bestens betreut gefühlt."

Zweimal wurde das Gate gewechselt und zwar nicht mal auf derselben Ebene, sondern sogar in einem anderen Terminal und der Flieger hatte auch noch mehr als 1 Stunde Verspätung. 2. Das Essen war für eine Businessclass und einen mehr als 2 stündigen Flug eine echte Zumutung. Kalte und geschmacklose Vorspeise."

Negativ: "Der Flug ging 1 Stunde verspätet, weil die Maschine schon verspätet aus München kam. Am Gate gab es zunächst überhaupt keine Info/keine Ansage. Über die Verzögerung wurden die Gäste erst durch eine SMS informiert. Es dauerte dann ca. 30 Minuten bis die Dame am Gate sich eine erste kurze Ansage abgerungen hat. Das Boarding dauert schließlich auch unendlich lange/ Maschine war komplett ausgebucht. Besser wäre gewesen, von hinten nach vorne die Maschine zu füllen, nicht kreuz und quer durcheinander, bis jeder dann sein Gepäck verstaut hat - das kostete zusätzlich Zeit."

Negativ: "We did not request special meals because in the past there has always been an option without cheese. For both legs of the trip, everything had cheese. They tasted great, but left my husband eating only bread. At the first meal the crew just shrugged their shoulders. Second meal they brought him a snack from business class, but it had cream cheese on the sandwich. Drinks were only served during the meals on an 8 hour flight. When crew came back through at the first meal, they only had two bottles of wine in hand offering top offs (no cart, just physically carrying the bottles). We do not drink alcohol. During the second meal I did not even see them offering the top offs. All other airlines have at least come through a couple of times offering water or soda. Announcements were only audible half the time. Customs forms were confusing for people passing through Canada. This might have been explained over the intercom, but again, it was hard to hear."
Negativ: "Der Flug ist nicht pünktlich gestartet. Informationen kamen sehr spät. Bis zum Zeitpunkt des eigentlichen Boardings war der Flugstatus pünktlich. Aus nicht ersichtlichen Gründen wurden bereits zuvor Flüge von LH und EW nach MUC annulliert. Erst gegen 21 Uhr erfolgte die Snkündigung dass 21:45 die neue Abflugszeit wäre. Gestartet ist die Maschiene dann um 22:05 Uhr. Die Kommunikation war sehr schlecht, das Bodenpersonal schloss bis zuletzt keine Annulierung aus."

Im Flugzeug war es bereits sehr voll, so dass wir nicht unbedingt freundlich darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurden, dass wir eventuell nicht unser gesamtes Handgepäck mitnehmen können. Schließlich fand sich doch noch ein Platz in den Staufächern der Business Class, mit dem Hinweis, da hätten wir aber nochmal Glück gehabt."

The flight that you gave us, JQ7 from Melbourne did not exist. Therefore we had to stay in Melbourne for another 24 hours and find another new route and flights to return to Heathrow. All a strain and stress. Your service to us for the return journey useless. So far, I have not found that you have corrected any of your failings and therefore it could also happen again to others tomorrow, next week, or next month. The return journey was a total disaster.

The service on board was attentive and efficient, the food options I really liked (especially the Chinese dish) but also the little touches like the nuts & gouda cheese which were served in small porcelain bowls. The seat itself was very comfortable when sitting and the structure gives a lot of privacy. However for couples or friends travelling it's a bit cumbersome to have a conversation even when sitting in seats next to each other. Overall my expectations were fulfilled."

I liked the staff. They were helpful despite all the delays. Pearson Airport needs to find a way to be better organized. Not sure how the current problems get solved, but very few flights are leaving on time. It seems like Air Canada is doing it’s best but it’s struggling to keep up with plane maintenance, baggage, and having enough staff for each flight.

In 35 years of flying this was the worst experience I've ever had."

I got my bags on the day I was scheduled to leave. They had no way to track my bag and offered me $50. I had over $7000 of gear in the bag and I lost my $2600 deposit for the hunt. Not to mention the time a way from work where I just sat around in the bush doing nothing. On the way home, they lost my bag again. No one ever came to customer service desk and I had to call a number to India who was zero help. Terrible experience. Never fly Air Canada!!!!!"

United airlines ground staff at Indira Gandhi International airport New Delhi didn't let me board the flight. I am a Candian citizen returninv to canada got my covid-19 rt pcr test done less than 72 hours from my flight from newark to toronto as per the regulations of Canadian Government and also the united airlines app, also uploaded all the documentation and were approved by travel ready centre of united airlines app , my wife talk to one of the representatives over the phone in Canada he said the same that I can board the flight and there will be no problem as I had enough time to get my prc test done at Liberty international airport if required by staff at Newark airport, yet the ground staff ignored all this and didn't let me board the flight and told me to catch a direct flight of some other airline. They themselves are not aware of the rules properly. I had to go back soon as my wife and new born son is alone and nobody to take care of them but United airlines gave me this hassle for no reason and have to come back all the way from New Delhi to Chandigarh make fresh arrangements for travel and have to go to dubai and do all the tests over again. I wish I could rate the experience in negative
