Late gate change. Delta’s gate 37 is actually gate 24B- of course it is because it’s LAX. Delta staff acts as if 37=24B is the new math and we are stupid to not know this conversion. Delta staff acts surely and borderline hostel. Not sure if this is LAX or Delta’s culture. Either way, it stinks.

The check in process here in Phoenix was horrible. Incompetent agents, lack of staff, management indecisive, and lack of any urgency for passengers whose flights were set to leave. The flight crew were tired and stressed though that could be Delta's fault. The pilot was a pro! Thank you for the smooth flight!

There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."

There was not enough time between connecting flights to be able to make them comfortably. I had to RUN to each one. The food on the United flight was deplorable for a 1st/business class ticket. YUKKKKK!

She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Negativ: "Leider muss man sagen dass das Boarding zu lange gedauert hat und manche Probleme mit dem Anschlussflug hatten. Noch dazu kummt dass mindestens 5 oder 6 Personen ihren Koffer nicht mehr bekommen haben unteranderem auch eine Freundin von mir was natürlich sehr ärgerlich ist."

Als Alleinreisender ist der Fensterplatz immer blöd, besonders bei eine 3-3-3 Bestuhlung in der Boeing 787-9 in der Economy Class, weil man gleich 2 unbekannte Leute aufscheuchen muss, wenn man zur Toilette will. Sitzbreite und Fußraum sind für einen Langstrecken- Flug gerade noch akzeptabel. Wenn nicht Mitglieder meiner Reisegruppe, die ich in den letzten Tagen kennenlernte neben mir sassen, wäre es schlimmer gewesen.

4 hour delay. Plus they used the same excuse they used early in week saying a plane was broken and occupying the gate so we waited almost an hour stopped in the plane waiting to deboard. Air Canada needs to get better organized and stop telling lies. Be honest with us. Some of us fly 4-5 times a week and we’re tired of being told the same lie over and over and over again

+ Es war ein angenehmer Flug trotz Verspätung. - Die Toiletten waren gehen Ende des Fluges absolut ekelerregend aufgrund von Unfähigkeit mancher Fluggäste anständig auf die Toilette zu gehen.

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "Check-in at the Air Canada counter was chaotic, a long lineup with only one agent available to direct the crowd. She coped well considering there were multiple people asking questions at the same time. There was a small sign instructing persons who had obtained boarding passes and luggage tags to go to baggage drop but no signs or separate lanes to indicate where that was. Very disorganized. At the gate it was the same scenario. Agents at adjacent desks were calling boarding instructions for multiple flights at the same time. Our Vancouver flight was never actually announced but passengers all started lining up because the stated boarding time had passed. It was impossible to tell which flight was calling for which boarding zones and everyone was wondering out loud "what is going on here?" Once finally aboard we sat on the runway, our flight left an hour late and we missed our connecting flight in Vancouver which, I realize happens. However..."

Negativ: "Inexperienced crew. Had to circle the departure airport for 1.5 hours and then land again due to a mechanical issue. They didn't tell us what was going on exactly. Sat at the gate for another 40 minutes. Finally departed. Everyone on boar missed their connections. I personally missed a whole day of my European vacation due to this error. Stuff happens from time to time but it would have been nice for them to have handled it better."

Negativ: "Almost missed my flight because an Air Canada representative insisted I could not use my visa debit card for the luggage fee. I then tried to pay cash, but he said that he didn't accept Canadian currency, so I would have to use the ATM to withdraw American cash. I did, and the fees were ridiculous. Then, he didn't have change to break the 40$ i withdrew into his $25 fee. I proceeded to follow him as he walked around for twenty minutes asking random people at the airport if they had change for a twenty. It was very embarrassing and stressful, as I already was in tears from saying goodbye to my partner. Boarding the plane wasn't a problem, but getting on a plane in Orlando, Florida with the air conditioner broken with a plane of 300+ was outrageous. It felt like a sauna in the airplane and the kids were screaming in discomfort, something a 20-something like myself wanted to do as well but had the control not to. It's a shame because we used Air Canada a lot to travel back and forth to visit each other, but with this last trip we will no longer be using this airline and will shop for alternatives who are worth the price of admission."

Negativ: "Air Canada Rouge should be renamed Air Canada Rude. Employees are very un-friendly; Seat design on the plane is the most uncomfortable of any airline out there. Very close to each other and very little padding on cushion of seat. Dirty plane; don’t think they serviced it between flights, garbage in each seat pouch. Very cold on flight, crew did not regulate the climate control. Too many unnecessary announcements both in English then French. Each announcement seemed like it lasted about 10 minutes which no one listen. So much for trying to watch a movie that pauses every time the crew feels the needs to talk. Sat at gate for 30 minutes pass departure time without any explanation until right before we departed (waiting on passengers from late arriving flights). At lease they could have told us. Anyhow this is not the Air Canada of old. Air Canada Rouge shows no signs that they care about the comfort of their passengers."

Negativ: "Problems that were, to be sure, not entirely the airline's fault. The trip from Toronto to Austin was delayed because someone had taken the flight attendant's bag from the overhead. We had to wait until either the bag was recovered or a new flight attendant was brought in. On the return flight, the first officer had ruptured her eardrum, and the plane could not leave Austin until a new pilot was flown in from Toronto. It took hours for the airline to arrange for hotel rooms. The airline then offered vouchers when we arrived in Toronto, but their representative brought enough for only about 2/3 of the passengers."

Also does not inspire confidence in the plane. Only thing I can think of is they weren't done fueling and pushed back to protect their "on time" stats. If true, that's lame."
Negativ: "I usually drink 2 or 3 beers on a flight like this. I bought a beer for myself and girlfriend. Beer hot and was told they had no way to keep cold. That's how it comes. 13.50 wasted. Sat there for 3 1/2 hours with nothing to drink. Had nothing on way back. Kind of ruined my flying experience. Have to think about flying air Canada again."
Positiv: "The flight attendants were GREAT. The seats are crammed so close together that I had trouble getting my under the seat suitcase wedged in. On other airlines, the suitcase fits very nicely underneath the seat, allowing me to rest my feet on the suitcase. I am on the short side, so having the suitcase to rest my feet really helps. On the flight to Toronto, my daughter had to do it for me. On the return flight, the sweet flight attendant put the bag in and took it out for me. I really appreciated that"
Negativ: "I know that all airlines have reduced the seat size and spacing. But it seems like Air Canada is worse than most."
Positiv: "I flew in and out of Montreal to see if it was better than Newark or Philadelphia from upstate NY. It was all right. The food on Air Canada is not good AT ALL. The crew were very nice and had a good sense of humor. They were the best part. And at least I got an aisle seat--in the very last row of the huge plane. There must have been 500 people on board, and it was full to the gills."

Negativ: "We didn't see much of the flight attendants and my grandson became ill. We could have used more water throughout the flight as that may have prevented him from getting sick."

Negativ: "Mine and my wife's legs did not fit. The seats were spaced much closer together than is standard, and this made the flight unbearable. I stood in the isle for most of the flight. To make things worse on this 5 hour flight, there was no video available to distract me."

Also irritating that delays are posted at 15 minute intervals and then updated; so you have to keep updating friends & family via WiFi. If it's predicted to be an hour, say so."

Negativ: "My email is not linked to my phone, so I got no warning notices of two gate changes waiting for my connecting flight home. I waited at the original gate (C39) from arrival time (2:30 pm) til boarding time (5:40 pm). When I saw no change to my destination, I checked the United App to find that the gate had been changed C33). Rushing to C33 I found another flight boarding at that location with one United Representative who could not stop to answer questions. Seeing two unoccupied Representatives at the next gate (C32), I asked if they could help me with the confusion, they said I should check with gate C33 - which I told them that she was too busy with other passengers. I searched for a Departure Board and discovered that gate C33 was still the gate, but "aircraft maintenance" had delayed the flight until after 8:20. After having to check my carry-on because of lack of space in the overheads, my departure from the airport was further delayed another 30 minutes. Upon returning home and checking my email, I found notifications of two different gate changes (C33 & C44). Announcements should have been made at both gate C39 about the changing of the gate and at C33 explaining the problem. The captain's lame excuse about air conditioning and Phoenix's hot weather was lame to say the least."

Negativ: "I never flew to Phoenix from Washington. I was held over at DCA for the night so I lost a full day of my vacation! Had to fly to Chicago and then to Phoenix. Was a total pain!!!"
Positiv: "I was happy to finally receive a drink one the flight started. A waterbottle at the seat and not other service would have been nice. Wifi was not working. The seats were small and cramped. My seat did not stay either up or down...it kept moving around and would not stay adjusted. However the crew was fantastic and our two female pilots were amazing. Captain Amy touched down in Phoenix was one of the smoothest I have ever experienced."

Negativ: "we paid for 2 seats together in economy plus, but due to an equipment change, we were split up. In order to sit together we were downgraded to economy. It would have been nice if they had informed us when the change occured so we could have made arrangements"
Negativ: "This flight was horrible. I upgraded my seat and paid extra for a premium economy and it was still crowded. There was gum or candy stuck to the floor right were I was supposed to stash my carry on. I pointed it out to the flight attendant and his response was "so you can't put your bag there?" I asked him if he would ruin his bag and put it there and he said "well, you don't know me." What? I had to worry the whole flight about putting my foot on that gooey mess. What did I get for my extra money? Aggravation."

Negativ: "There was no entertainment available on this flight. It's a short flight so I don't expect any, however, I continued on to Phoenix that day from Chicago and that is a long flight. I expected free entertainment on that flight, as it was afforded on the flight on the Phoenix to Chicago leg of my flights earlier in the week. The Chicago to Phoenix had entertainment offered but it there was a fee, which I didn't appreciate and did not take part in. I looked around me as much as possible and didn't see anyone else pay for entertainment. Having in flight movies and TV available for feee is a great incentive for flying with United. If these long flights in the future are pay for view, I will not be flying with you when there are alternative carriers who do provide free entertainment. Thank you."

That way people would not have to get up from their seats after they have been sitting down to get back up to allow the people in the inner seat to get to their seats a pond boarding the plane after the people in the aisle seat are already sitting!"

Negativ: "The woman at check in demanded my wife check in her carry on bag, because she had a small pocket book and a plastic bag with 3 souvenir t-shirts. I told her we'd put the purse in the bag but for some reason she demanded we check in our carry on. And we saw two women right in front of us with "3" bags... That meant an additional 30 minutes at bag check while our ride circled the airport. The was the last of 4 flights, and it was the only time anyone made this an issue."
