Bordpersonal war sagen wir mal nicht unfreundlich, mehr aber auch nicht. Höflich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam ist anders. Der Flug ging von Berlin. Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."

Positiv: "The flight from Winnipeg to Toronto was ok. The flight was packed with military personnel and they all had large packs that had to be pushed under the seats but were really difficult to put there. Many of them were late for the flight for some reason so we were delayed leaving by a lot of time. The thing I did like was that the pilot made up most of the time so we did manage to barely make our flight to Ft Lauderdale as they were boarding it. The one from Toronto to Winnipeg was as I expected, a normal, nice Air Canada flight."
Negativ: "I find that when I travel on the Air Canada Rouge flights I really feel like I am travelling on a third rate air line. Things don't work and you are squeezed in like sardines, Some people were boarding the flight with 2 carry ons plus a personal item. This always causes problems and seems to delay leaving as the crew then needs to either find space for it or need to check it and then deal with the complaints of the traveler."

Negativ: "Grateful that the online entertainment works on the taxi as West Palm delayed our departure by over 30 minutes."

Negativ: "They had known about a mechanical issue all day and did not notify anyone until 1 hour before departure. They ultimately had to get another plane but only after >4hr delay. Seems to me like delay could have been avoided or at least predicted so we could have made appropriate arranements. Big domino effect of inconvenience on the last day of the year makes for very bad experience."

Negativ: "Finding gate was a problem. Air Canada personnel gave me bad info on Gare and would not give me a ride. Going outside and up steps to board is unsafe for people with balance issues. Would have to be a great deal to get me on air Canada again"

Negativ: "Flight was 45 min late leaving & I only had 1 hr between the next flights. Because Winnipeg is a small airport, I just made the next connection but no time to go to the restroom."

Negativ: "The seats are way to close, I am short and I had no room. There is no way those seats are far approved, cause they're is no way in an emergency people would be able to crawl out if those seats. There was no snack at all, not even pretzels, nothing."

Positiv: "I liked the vegetarian options for food."
Negativ: "We got to the airport 2 and a half hours early, and thank goodness: check in took forever and they obviously didn't have enough staff, and never fixed that. Had to rush through everything else. Crew was unhelpful for those of worried about missing our connecting flights since the plane was late: those on board said they had no way to know and to ask the gate agent when we landed, the gate agent scoffed at us saying they had no way to know. I've been on flights where the crew kindly gave out connection information, so this is lazy on Air Canada's part."

Negativ: "Lost a flight because they closed the door 20 min before departure, no calls where made to passengers ... I was delayed by airport security and by the time I made it to the gate it was already dispatched, flight closed doors 10 min after it was scheduled to board, very efficient boarding crew that left 6 passengers on the ground !! Since it was a short flight between Toronto and Montreal they gabe me a seat in the next flight which had a delay in boarding (30 min) and then delayed departure too another 30 min ... All in all i spent almost 5 hours in the airport for a 1h flight"

Positiv: "-Staff offered free things like headphones and 15 minutes of wifi access to compensate for multiple delays -Cheap! -I was rescheduled to this flight after my previous flight was delayed and prevented me from taking my original flight back, but I was moved up to boarding zone 3 in return"
Negativ: "-Significant delay prevented me from checking in to my room, which was highly inconvenient. Fortunately I had a friend who was willing to have me, but if not (and because the nearby hotels are filled up due to the beginning of freshman orientation at my college), I would have had nowhere to stay after 13+ hours of flying and exhaustion. This alone significantly hurt the experience."
