Positiv: "My 96-yr-old father was given an airport wheelchair after we checked his own transport chair. He was wheeled through security and to the departure gate. We were advised they changed us to a bulkhead row w/an unoccupied seat adjacent to his. Twice during the flight one of the flight attendants came to tell him that she would help him off the plane so to wait for her after the rest of the passengers disembarked. The meal was very tasty.Chicken karaage was not crispy but I wouldn't expect it to be. The rest of the items were well seasoned with the right consistency. Dessert was a flan custard with passion fruit sauce (very Hawaii!), even including a few seeds from the fruit as garnish."

The check in was not good. I was unable to check in on line the previous day. I was rudely informed that I was late checking in and I was on standby. My husband and I were separated on the eight hour flight. It was very difficult to travel so long away from one another.
Poor seating, poor leg room
Need more space in economy seating. For a flight of 10 plus hours even economy seating should have the ability for an adult to stretch out and sleep. Other than that all was good.

Sadly! I had a Terrible experience. My daughter got super sick few hours before our departure and hospitalized. Unfortunately I couldn’t able to fly back to USA on that day. I did go to the airport and let them know that I have a serious emergency and can’t fly. Kayak didn’t help at all or made any adjustments to get a new date. I had to purchase new tickets. I’m so disappointed!

Wie beim Hinflug auch beim Rückflug Verspätung von fast einer Stunde. Auf Nachfrage zunächst keine Informationen und unfreundliche Antworten. 50 Minuten im Flieger warten müssen bevor der Start erfolgte. Erst auf Nachfrage gab es zur Überbrückung ein Wasser. Schade, dass man als Gast immer darauf Selbstverständlichkeiten aufmerksam machen muss. Dabei möchte LH angeblich immer ein Wohlgefühl an Board vermitteln. Das behaupten sie zumindest immer in der Durchsage. Enttäuschend.
Wenn man schon genug für den Flug bezahlt kann man auch wenigstens umsonst Unterhaltung haben wie z.B. die Filme. Finde ich etwas unverschämt, dafür zu bezahlen müssen.
Exzellenter, professioneller Service.
Das Boarding ist bei Lufthansa auch nach zwei Jahren Corona immer noch eine Katastrophe. Keine Ansage der Gruppen, so das alle gleichzeitig zum Boarding rennen. Das gleiche beim Aussteigen. Volle Gänge keine Ansage über einen geregelten Ausstieg. Leider kümmert sich die Lufthansa offensichtlich wenig um die Gesundheit der Passagiere.

Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Positiv: "Amazing staff, service, comfort, food, entertainment! Already looking forward to our flight home - the cabin crew was hilarious and so great to have onboard. Love it!"
Negativ: "Only thing I can complain about is that we sat on the ground for over an hour and left 1.5 hours late. We had a layover before our connecting flight so it wasn’t a problem for us."
Positiv: "The flight crew went the extra mile to give good service. There were plenty of meals and snacks throughout the trip."
Negativ: "The bathrooms are cramped, they are clean however. Seats are also very close together, others must get out if you are in a middle or window seat."
Negativ: "When I bought the ticket I thought it was air Canada but it was air Canada rouge so no food no entertainment tried to download air Canada app but took about an hour to get 10 percent done so flew with no entertainment no drinks no food nothing. Boarding was a pain had a three year old also had to pay extra 50 dollars for my baggage. Typical air Canada nonsense. Would not use them again."

Negativ: "Ground crew were horrible and unnecessarily rude It’s difficult to deal with hoards of people, I get it, but we were pleasant and cheerful and were treated with harsh indifference, decided to seek another agent and he was dismissive Everyone was treated like they were annoying and troublesome children! If AC would just find nice people who have a hint of compassion we’d accept being late and squashed"
Positiv: "Alles gut, wie erwartet. Cool, dass Internet im Angebot war."
Negativ: "Klar, die Flieger werden immer enger... aber für die Umwelt ist es schon besser, wenn dafür weniger Flieger starten also beklage ich mich auch nicht so sehr drüber. Am Besten wäre es, wenn es mehr Züge gäbe für solche kurze Strecken."
Positiv: "Staff were friendly and accommodating"
Negativ: "Flight was delayed over 2 hours on New Years Eve and in return, we were given $10 food vouchers... only problem was most things were closed in the airport because it was New Years, and what was open the $10 barely covered it. In flight entertainment wasn’t working properly and frequently cut out. Eventually gave up."
Positiv: "Affordable and timely."
Negativ: "Hard seats, no room for carry-on luggage, and not even a free cracker."
Positiv: "Das Boarding und die Durchführung waren super. Das Personal sprach Französisch. Nicht alles wurde auf Englisch wiederholt. Getränke wurden NUR EIN MAL angeboten. Essen hat Geld gekostet - nicht gut. United Airlines hat zwar auch essen Gegen Geld angeboten, aber hat mindestens 3 Mal von sich auch Getränke angeboten. Also von sich aus."
Negativ: "Kaum Beinfreiheit. Essen nur gehen Geld."
Positiv: "The flight was good, on time, and comfortable. Crew was polite and informative."
Negativ: "The sound did not work on my screen, even after trying 3 different sets of headphones."
Positiv: "Flight crew was vey nice and flight was on time."
Positiv: "Had to rebook and was oven wrong information when I caked . Ended up paying for a new ticket"
Positiv: "the pilot did a great job. the crew was nice."
Negativ: "It was interesting to me that the plane used for a 4 hour flight (this one) was smaller than a plane used for a 1hr flight. I was uncomfortable the entire time. this was a redeye flight, departing at midnight. the cabin lights stayed on for the first hour making it impossible to dose off. we were given a 'snack' of a disgusting chicken wrap slathered in mayo. it was inedible. oh, and accompanied by a large kitkat bar. I mean. Who came up with this combo? there were no screens, no in flight entertainment unless you wanted to run down your phone battery or rent an ipad for $10. I was truly disappointed."
Positiv: "My good friend John came to pick me up even though it arrived at 1 am instead of 9 pm....."
Negativ: "The wait for plane to be ready. There was a technical problem which delayed it. They gave us a discount coupon and I don't even know what kind of discount we will get. They should have just given us a free one way for a similar route."
Positiv: "Flignt from Honolulu to Vancouver delayed. Return flight also delayed."
Negativ: "Flight cancelled until the next day and then delayed again without sufficient notice . Air canada hasn't offered us anything worth making up missing a day out of our vacation"
Positiv: "Staff was great."
Negativ: "I avoid rouge at all costs and recommend others to avoid it too. I hate the lack of screens and zero complimentary food. A pretzel would impress me but I relate air canada rouge to delta or united and always have weak experiences compared to other aircrafts."
Negativ: "a long 5 hr flight, they just give you a drink!!!!(they cant afford even a little bite?) Even at the time of the drink they bypass my line and we had to ask and she said sorry!! We did,nt get the usual boarding notification by e-mail 24hrs before??"
Negativ: "when boarding they didn't have a seat assigned for me so I had to wait till everyone was in there seats ! I was not impressed"
Positiv: "I liked the organized boarding process."
Negativ: "Rouge Flight entertainment does not even come close to any other carriers entertainment system. Additionally, if you have a PC your're out of luck. It only works with IOS. Funny, it took me over an hour to find this out prior to the flight. The ground crew were all clueless if I could use my PC. I could have used my Smart Phone but it's kinda on the small side to watch a full length movie and drain my battery to 0. The Air Canada website was equally not helpful. I had to purchase their Ipad rental for $10 Canadian Dollars in order to watch a movie. Funny, they only had maybe 12-15 movies to choose from. Additionally, the bathrooms were disgusting and had broken parts everywhere. Flight was filthy. Looks like their just trying to scramble turning their flights around. I felt sorry for the people waiting in Honolulu for their flight back to Vancouver. Shame on you Air Canada. Time to upgrade your fleet please. You need to have better cleaning crews and definitely upgrade your Rouge Player system to accept PC's."

Negativ: "Left late and overall once again did not find the staff to be exceptionally helpful."
Negativ: "Flight was delayed 2 hours due to mechanical issues. Can't be helped, but made for a long day."
Positiv: "Flight attendants friendly and helpful."
Negativ: "Seats very uncomfortable - no legroom. Flight comong home delayed several hours because of maintenance problem."
Positiv: "When there were unforseen delays. They just said too bad, here is a phone number you can call. It then took 2 hours to try and get someone on the phone. Once I finally was talking with someone, they said it would cost $200 to rectify the problem. I then got put on hold. When they came back they said it would be over $2000 to get home. Talk about trying to cash is on people's hard situations. I ended up flying WestJet. They were amazing."
Negativ: "One attendant walked by offering water - nice that they offered water in the middle of the flight. But she didn't even give customers the chance to raise their hands bec she walked by so fast saying "water, water, water." I wasn't even dozing off and I couldn't catch her and I was sitting by the aisle. Dirty bathrooms with doors that don't lock - not just one particular stall but more than one stall."
Positiv: "der sessel ist wie ein altes economy-sessel, das essen ist schöner angerichtet, und es gibt mehr platz"

Positiv: "We got exit row seats and had tons of room - without an upcharge. We even got a hot breakfast in economy for free. Our first bad was free too - love Lufthansa (who operated flight fir air canada)"
Negativ: "Need bigger coffee cups!"
Positiv: "The staff was very professional and quite helpful. The flight was good. I would recommend it to everyone."
Positiv: "Boarding was a breeze. The in flight crew were excellent. The best landing ever. Would fly with them again."
Negativ: "They need a better system for boarding. It took forever to get us all on board. And it was hard to hear which zone they were boarding since the passengers were so noisy. there should've been lanes for the different zones so they could usher us all in orderly. It was a chaotic mess without lanes. There was no entertainment if you didn't download their app onto your electronic device. No snacks were offered either. I didn't pay for a meal but it would've been nice to have some pretzels or something like that. The controls for the lights, and attendant call button were on the hand rest. It was very uncomfortable since it was a raised section, and more than once I turned on the light without meaning to do so. I won't fly Air Canada Rouge ever again, if I can help it."
Positiv: "This was a horrible experience throughout. From the start, we were told to board but left standing on the jetway for 15-20 minutes before we were allowed to board the plane and take our seats. Went downhill from there."
Negativ: "Uncomfortable. No space, "Entertainment" had one use their own device but no place to power the device. Audacity to charge $10 to use a rental device for entertainment when other airlines provide free of charge. No air-circulation on board. Screaming children the ENTIRE 6 hour flight. No complimentary snacks."
Positiv: "Flight was on time and crew was friendly"
Negativ: "Old airplanes, not very clean"
Positiv: "Price was good and flights arrived timely"
Negativ: "It's a typical new aircraft that is crowded when full"
