Leider hatte die Lufthansa nicht genug Verpflegung an Board. Dies war schon auf dem Hinflug der Fall. Bereits ab Reihe 19 konnten die vegetarischen Speisewünsche nicht mehr bedient werden. Sehr schade bei einem 3,5 Stunden Flug, wenn man das Essen gedanklich eingeplant hat.

Rude flight attendants, horrible customer service, had to show the same documents 3 times after being check and cleared once. Flight attendants acted like they couldn’t hear what we are asking even though we spoke all the languages they did. It was not a pleasant flight and as a cherry on top all of our suitcases got lost.

Das Boarding dauert schließlich auch unendlich lange/ Maschine war komplett ausgebucht. Besser wäre gewesen, von hinten nach vorne die Maschine zu füllen, nicht kreuz und quer durcheinander, bis jeder dann sein Gepäck verstaut hat - das kostete zusätzlich Zeit."

Gestartet ist die Maschiene dann um 22:05 Uhr. Die Kommunikation war sehr schlecht, das Bodenpersonal schloss bis zuletzt keine Annulierung aus."

Negativ: "1. The comfort in economy class was insulting and horrible. I am 6'3", 175lbs and was trapped in one uncompromisingly uncomfortable position for 8+ hours. Torture is a word that comes to mind. If I were a smaller sized person, 5'8" or less, perhaps this may be acceptable, but for anyone over 6'. forget it. You must pay loads extra to be given a respectable seat. I am hopeful that I don't develop a blood clot from this flight. This lack of room is a seriously dangerous situation for many people on long-distance flights. 2. The seat recline feature added further insult to the mix. Once airborne, the lady in the seat in front of me sent her seat into what was left of any personal space or legroom I had. The video screen on the setback in front of me was literally 6" from my face now. Several people who were also of taller size complained, one was so adamant about retaining his space that he fought verbally with the lady in front of him, and eventually a stewardess had to be called. My wife complained on my behalf, and was able to get the lady in front of me to reposition her seat, but eventually, I noticed it somehow found its way back to recline again. I know Lufthansa is not alone with this predicament, but something HAS TO BE DONE to fix this huge problem with air travel. 3. The food on the flight to Germany was way better than the return trip. The meal consisted of mushy carrots, greasy mashed potato-like side, and a piece of OK chicken smothered in 'Murican BBQ sauce. I was insulted. Lufthansa had been better than this in the past. Oh, and the dinner roll was so dry and crumbly, it could have been weeks old. The snack before landing was called pizza, but I wouldn't call it that It was a bunch of tasteless dough, a little bit of tomato like sauce and a smattering of cheese. I wish Lufthansa would stick to what they do best; German-influenced food. Be true to who you are. Most people I know love German food, and I always have looked forward to LH food selections. Not now."

The funk was pretty overwhelming. Bathrooms were stinky and ran out of toilet paper. Only the free flowing wine made it tolerable."

I usually fly SAS business class, and based on this experience with Lufthansa, I will go straight back to SAS. They offer better service, better menu choices, and first class seating for the same price. Easy decision."

When they arrived on Amsterdam Netherlands Airport they were dropped to the gate assigned first and once the gate changed on the fly no body came to help them moving to the new gate assigned which was far away to walk. Nobody even came to tell them that the gate has been changed. It was because of my father's alertness they didn't miss the connecting flight and when my father asked help to members on airport none of them helped my parents and other 4 co passengers which also were on wheel chairs. It was so scary experience for them that they asked me not to book any more flights with Jet Airways. I won't recommend Jet Airways to any of my friends for their parents to travel to USA. I strongly recommend you guys to take a strict action against this. This is so unacceptable."

Es lag also auf der Hand, dass sehr viele Fluggäste deutsch als ihre Muttersprache haben. Das störte die Flugbegleiterin aber nicht. Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

It's a week later and I still have not heard anything from from, even though I've called and emailed and sent snail mail."

C my flight was boarding. Staff could care or less and walked away. I had to run to my gate and almost miss my flight. Also, I was told that 1st checked bag was complimentary as this is a express aircraft. Staff wouldn't honor that. Come to find out as I entered the aircraft that they made many passengers do the complimentary gate check anyway. Rude and unaccompdating staff."

Then there was this stupid line of kiosks that no one knew how to use, then for some reason another boarding check, then another, and then finally customs, with more rude staff members. We had NO IDEA any of this was coming, and got no warning from Air Canada. Then we rushed to our connecting flight, only to find out that we had been booted from the flight anyway. (I got an email about it, which of course I didn't check because I have limited data -- not everyone is made of money who can afford unlimited data!) Then we got on finally boarded, only to sit on the tarmac forever in uncomfortable seats when they could've just let us sit in the airport. Ugh."
Negativ: "they made a bunch of people check bags for plane which normally in my past experience has just gate checked larger bags. i'm not sure why they needed to check the bags, and we got away with not having to do that, but it seemed unnecessary"
Positiv: "The staff rocked it, despite being in a tough position with grumpy passengers. The desk staff before boarding was less helpful. The seats were comfortable. Entertainment was rated low because it was a short flight it really should have been an N/A because I didn't use it. Not sure how to fairly rate that. No food as far as I could tell."

Negativ: "I was among the last to board and had to place my carry-on under the seat in front because there was no room in the overhead bin. This kept me cramped the entire time despite the "preferred" seating. Soft drink servings were really skimpy."
Negativ: "the gate changed FOUR times and passengers were never notified as there were no crew at the gate. The flight was delayed by two hours. there was no in-flight entertainment on board as it wasn't working. upon landing, we were forced to stay in the plane for an extra 30 minutes because the gate and crew were not ready. I was NOT impressed by this flight and am very upset with how things went. I expected better of AC and will not be flying again with them."
Negativ: "AC373 on 07/23/16 - need I say more? Having an airline background and now the HR mgr of a very large hotel chain, I understand many things that are out of a companies control, ie: weather etc, but....never have I witnessed airline staff YELLING at passengers "it's not our fault and the agents need to leave so they don't go into overtime?" Yes, some passengers were difficult, but it's part of the industry. If you can't handle w/care and service - don't choose as a profession. Very unimpressed with AC's customer service, guest recovery - they made it seem like it was more of an inconvenience for them. Can't imagine "choosing" to fly AC again!"

We ended up sleeping on the airport floor over night. They could not rebook us next day and we spent another day waiting. This is my first and last time flying on Air Canada !!!"

I was hungry after all the unexpected wait plus the 4.5 hours flight to Chicago. I feel that the airline could offer passengers a meal after all the unexpected delays."

They covered a meal for us which was good and gave us $50 off our next flight. But I’m not sure I want to book united again. But I was smiling at her and just asking how to go about changing our connecting flights and she seemed a little bit ready to get rid of me. And the next plane we got on, one of our tv screens didn’t work. And the connecting flight was delayed also because of a technical problem."

The screen on my iPhone is bigger than the screen on the seatback which if compared to other airlines is not up to the mark. For a long flight, that would have been nice. They also made a big scene about the bathrooms, apparently us in economy didn't pay enough to use the bathrooms in front of the thin blue curtain that wasn't really closed. It was a bit weird, they're just crappy bathrooms regardless of where they are on the plane."

Then I paid $25 online for my luggage. Then my luggage was over 50 pounds. I was charged $100. So I paid $125 for my luggage. Lax TSA Employees are rude and mean. Yelling do this and do that. Like we prisoners. I will never fly United again. I will let everyone know of my experience. Terrible customer service. Then your screens don't work on your airplane. Cannot watch movies. Therefore your plane is not up to par. But I paid up to $700! Never again. Good luck United."

Seems the price should simply be the cost to guarantee a basic flight (two carry-on's, guaranteed seat assignment, advanced check-in) so folks can opt out and go for a cheaper ticket on another airline that offer a cheaper fare for the above mentioned guaranteed basic flight options. Felt like a bait and switch."

No information provided ahead of time, to alert me to arrive at the boarding gate early for the extra screening. After I passed through the extra security screening at the gate in Munich, and then went to the counter to complete the extra passport check and security questions, I was asked to step aside and wait. No one told me why. I had to insist on an explanation to the airline staff, and realized there was a mistake - they thought I had not gone through the extra security screening before going to the passport check counter, but I had. This created extra stress and delay for me, as this took place when boarding had started. Respectfully, I suggest that staff is more communicative."
