the crew and actual flight was great. i appreciate the puffy headrests with folding edges. but we have been sitting on the ground LAX for 2 hours now waiting to be let off at the gate. the water in the bathrooms has been dumped so we have to use sanitizer, and it’s hot in here, and there are no vegan snacks and barely any water. this is insane.

Flight crew was not always respectful when addressing travelers. I understand having a bad day, but the individualized sass and snarky attitude was unprofessional.

Flight attendants were super chill and the flight was comfortable. They provide passengers with lots of bottles of water (two or more even); yay for hydration!

After forgetting the bottom of a piece of paper I was not told I needed to keep with me (it was given to me when I landed in Mexico), I was turned away from the gate minutes before boarding. I was told to exit the terminal (with no options as to what to do with my duty free purchases) and pay a 600 pesos fee for a new piece of paper. Ok, fair enough. When I get there, they don’t take credit cards. Aeromexico shrugs their shoulders yet again. I run across the airport to another terminal to get cash to pay for the silly paper, run back to get it, sprint across the airport (again, with ZERO help from the airline getting through security to make my flight) only to have the door closed in my face. Defeated I walk to the module in the terminal to ask for a new flight to be told I have to exit the terminal AGAIN. I ask what I do with my duty free purchases (bottles of tequila I cannot bring in again) and I’m told I should check them in with my luggage. After informing the agent I don’t have luggage (it was a short trip) i was told I would need to purchase luggage. THEN, I was told my rescheduling fee for the flight would be $720, a full priced fare. Never flying Aeromexico again. I’ll take 3 planes on American before a direct flight with them. Enjoy."

After asking around at the airport we were told that the rule had changed and we did not need to pick up our luggage 2) The planes were old with no entertainment."

Being that this is mexico’s airline they must know it’s a literal impossibility to make that connection. When you arrive they automatically shuttle you into an area to rebook you almost like it’s expected. Then you wait for 8 hrs in a crowded ghetto airport waiting to get on the next flight. When you speak to customer service they talk to you like your a dummy."

We didn’t like how we had to take a bus which they packed us up like sardines to take us to go up to our plane. Our plane seats had no leg room whatsoever and it became more crammed when the person in front of you put their seat back."
Positiv: "The comfort level on Aeromexico's planes to Mexico City and beyond is beyond belief, in this age of shrinking passenger space. In an ordinary ("back of the bus") seat in coach there was more than ample legroom for a more-than-six-footer, and row 28 has two windows to look out at the scenery aft of the wings. And food was even provided at no extra charge! In this situation there certainly was no need to purchase at an additional cost whatever Aeromexico calls its "premium economy" seating."
Negativ: "The entertainment system is limited --- there are no games on the seat-back installed machinery. In addition, the earphones provided are only ear-buds, which don't work well in my ears. (I prefer the miniature headphones other airlines provide.) The volume controls were also poorly scaled. The lowest three levels of volume weren't enough to even hear a single sound, the next level up was a little soft or quiet and the highest level far to loud to preserve a listener's hearing."

Negativ: "On June 29 Aeromexico Flight 2683 arrived in Mexico City airspace and the Captain informed the passengers that the plane would have to refuel in Alcapulco due to inclement weather in Mexico City. The website https://www.timeanddate.com/weather/mexico/mexico-city/historic reports NO inclement weather on that date or at the time that AM 2683 was to land. I observed partly cloudy skies from my window seat as well. The ground crew in Alcapulco was unprepared for AM2683 and the fueling was delayed. After doing so, AM 2683 landed AFTER my connecting flight AM 684 was scheduled to depart at 1:05 AM on June 30. A female connection agent met me at the baggage claim and informed me that that AM 684 had not been held and had departed. The female agent was unhelpful, dismissive and rude. In fact, she had taken a personal cell phone call at the connections desk prior to assisting passengers of AM 2683 which lasted many minutes. She escorted us to the Aeromexico counter where I waited 30 or more minutes to speak to a representative. The representative at the Aeromexico counter informed me that there were NO flights to Quito until 1:05 AM on July 1. I asked if she could book me on another airline and she informed me that because the delay was weather related Aeromexico had no obligation to accomodate me. She booked me on AM684 for July 1. I asked where I was to wait for the next 24 hours and she said Aeromexico had no obligation to pay for lodgings. She gave me food vouchers for the airport. I immediately logged onto Travelocity.com and found a Copa Airlines flight to Quito leaving that afternoon which was in fact OPERATED BY AEROMEXICO! I booked that ticket myself and waited in the Mexico City Airport for 14 hours. What would have taken 10 hours took me 22."

Flight was delayed a hour for an unknown reason, then we were stuck on the runway for an extra 15 minutes due to poor timing, then the flight in the air took an extra 20 minutes, and when we arrived the ground crew was having trouble docking the plane which took extra time, and last but not least my flight wasn’t even listed on any of the baggage claim terminals. Worst and the only bad experience that I’ve ever had with American Airlines.

Horrendous experience from start, and still waiting for the only checked bag that despite of six hours of layover in Miami was never transferred to the right plane to JAX. Attempt to change flights or seats were hindered by kayak lack of service and call center run around. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE KAYAK OR AMERICAN AIRLINES!!!!

Delay caused me to miss my connecting flight

It’s virtually impossible to give a high-quality suggestion from an airline that would not allow us on the airplane because they stated we needed Covid vaccination even though we had health certificate stating that we were healthy and had antigens in our body as well as our negative Covid test. Furthermore, we cannot find anyone to support and help us get reimbursed for a trip that we could not go on

The cabin crew was amazing. The two hour delay after boarding due to a “maintenance issue” was not.

Delayed flight, missed all my connections. They re-routed me on a 20 hr series of flights, charged me $230 for one extra bag, because of all the steps in the new flight that THEY set up because of THEIR delay. Absolutely unhelpful/unempathic counter help. This was easily one of my worst trip experiences, and I fly a lot.

American's movie selection is not great and the user interface for selecting a movie is really not easy to use.

Bordunterhaltung gabs nur in Oben alle 3 bis Sitzreihen einen TV dort konnte man Film schauen, nicht nach eigener Wahl. Sonst konnte man Film und Unterhaltung im Händy oder schauen Tablet herunterladen.Brauchst einfach gute Batterien dafür es gab keine Auflade Möglichkeiten, nur am Airport."

Negativ: "It seems like American Airlines has lived up to its reputation. More seats in a plane and less comfort. On top of that, the entertainment system has not been upgraded since the 70's. TV monitors in the middle and everyone has to watch the same thing. Of course, the sound system did not work for one entire side of the plane so I could only watch the movie and not hear it. If you are not going to have individual monitors for each seat, allow your passengers to what from their mobil devises like almost all other airlines are doing."

Delayed flight. Lost bags. One of which is still missing after 11 days!!

Auch hier keinerlei kostenlose Versorgung und viel zu enge Sitzplätze. Schade die Besatzung ist du nett und die Enttäuschung war schon groß. Keine Zeitung oder etwas Musik. Das Angebot muss wieder dazu kommen.

Der Flug war sehr angenehm, schade das es nicht mal ein Gls Wasser umsonst gab. Sie Betreuer bedauerten es auch und wir hatten die Möglichkeit dort etwas. an Getränke und Essen zu kaufen.

Nach Reihen aufstehen und dann im Bus gequetscht werden und ewig warten. Dann ewig lange Kontrolle der Impfung. Gepäck im Untergeschoss. Man musste dann das Gebäude verlassen, um zu den Mitwagenschalter zu kommen. Da haben es Ryanair Kunden bequemer!

War sehr voll und sehr eng. Maschine ohne USB ports :-(

Riesige Schlange beim Iberia Check-In in Madrid. Nur 2 Schalter geöffnet. Kein Personal. 2,5 Stunden vor Abflug da gewesen und trotzdem den Flug fast verpasst.

Glück gehabt, statt Iberia Express ist Iberia selber geflogen, mit einer lie flat Business Class. das war sehr angenehm!

Das freundlichste was man sagen kann, ist, dass alles pünktlich war. ansonsten so angenehm wie Busfahren!

Iberia Express ist pünktlich und wenn man Glück hat, kommen die Koffer an und bleiben nicht in Madrid hängen! Ansonsten von Boadrding angefangen eine absolut chaotische, unsympathische Airline! Und oft recht teuer!

Iberia hat eine echte Business Class eingesetzt, mit lie flat Sitzen!

Unfreundliches Personal. Schlechter Kundenservice. Erhielt den Platz in letzter Reihe in der Ecke ohne Fenster. Gern hätte ich mir gewünscht dass mir dies am check in Schalter von der Damen gesagt wurden wäre. Da ich unter einer Clausophobie leide, hätte ich noch am Schalter um Umbuchung auf einen anderen Platz gebeten und die Mehrkosten dafür auf mich genommen. Vor das Boardpersonal war unfreundlich und bis überfordert und sagte mir die Maschine ist voll, ich hätte ja online zuvor einen Platz reservieren können. Ok, ich habe dazu gelernt. Auch dass ich so schnell nicht mehr mit Iberia fliegen werde, weil neben all der Tatsachen der Check-In Schalter und die BoardStewardess sehr unfreundlich und nicht kundenorientiert waren. Schade!

Flight was good food mediocre seats mediocre for coach extra.

It was very stressful not being able to use Iberia/American Airlines apps for checking in, adding TSA Pre, or using mobile boarding passes.

Die Crew von Iberia war in dem Hinflug und Rückflug sehr unfreundlich. Die wollen einem den Flug nicht schön machen. Sowie ist englisch nicht etwas das man bei Iberia sprechen muss. Wenn man nicht Spanisch spricht wird man nicht gleich behandelt.

Ich musste 3 Sitzplatzreservierungen bezahlen, 1 davon völlig unnötig. 3 - Gate Änderung von 92 auf 98 in Palma de Mallorca unmittelbar vor der Rückflug sodass ich fast mein Flug nach München verpasst habe. Den ganzen Stress und 2 extra Gebühren kann ich mir ersparen wenn ich mein Ticket direkt in der Reiseagentur kaufe."
