Die neue Bordverpflegung von Swiss ist wirklich hervorragend: Frische und sehr gute Sandwiches von Sprüngli. Sogar ein Angus Beef Burger wird serviert. Preise sind etwa gleich wie wenn man das Sandwich in einer normalen Bäckerei in Zürich über die Theke kaufen würde.

Die Pünktlichkeit bei Swiss lässt zu wünschen übrig. Jede Woche mindestens 45 Minuten bis zu zu 105 Minuten Verspätung sind ein absolutes NoGo!

Verspätet

Leider wurde unser Gepäck vom Mumbai Flug nicht auf den Basel Flug gebracht, so dass wir ohne Gepäck in Basel ankamen. Auch wurde diese Information wohl erst spät nach Basel gebracht,da wir dort ewig auf unser Gepäck gewartet haben bis wir informiert wurden. Das trübt den ansonsten sehr guten Flug.

Leider hatte die Lufthansa nicht genug Verpflegung an Board. Dies war schon auf dem Hinflug der Fall. Bereits ab Reihe 19 konnten die vegetarischen Speisewünsche nicht mehr bedient werden. Sehr schade bei einem 3,5 Stunden Flug, wenn man das Essen gedanklich eingeplant hat.

Zunächst wird bei der Lufthansa eine gegenderte Drohung ausgesprochen, nämlich, wenn die Gäste die Maske abnehmen sollten und sich den Anweisungen der Crew widersetzen sollten, würden die polizeilichen Organe am Bestimmungsort informiert. Das bringt schon mal "gute Laune" in die trotz 9 Mrd. Steuerzahlerstütze unveränderte Kabine. Die sieht dann auch so aus, als ob sie seit der letzten Stilllegung wegen Corona aus Kostengründen nicht mehr gereinigt wurde. Die Businessclass ist ohnehin eine Zumutung, nämlich die gleiche Bestuhlung, wie in Economy, nur mit einem leeren Sitzplatz dazwischen. Lufthansa sollte sich einmal ein Beispiel an Turkish Airlines nehmen, die die Zeit des Lockdowns genutzt hat, um für die Gäste ein Upgrade in Ausstattung und Verpflegung zu organisieren, die ihresgleichen sucht, aber bei der Lufthansa sicher nicht findet.

Liegt ungünstig, wenn man mit Auto oder Bus an-/Abreist, weil erst der ganze Flughafen umfahren werden muss. 8kg Handgepäcksregelung ist echt nicht zeitgemäß und eine schickane. Mit Laptop, Tablet, Rasierer, Ladekabel und 1x Wechselkleidung knackt man das ganz schnell. Lufthansa Group ist bei manchen Flügen penibler als Ryanair! Es müssen ja keine 23kg sein, aber selbst KLM bietet 12kg."

Dienstleistung wurde nicht geliefert wie gebucht und ich musste trotzdem Stornierungskosten übernehmen. Nie wieder.

Mehr MNS Kontrollen während des Fluges, einige Fluggäste haben Maske nicht korrekt getragen Getränke Service inkludieren. Erwarte ich mir bei einer Premium Airline

Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. Then there was no sign for where we should go since upper deck on 747 so we went in "economy" line as indicated on ticket and then was sent to correct line when we got to the front, wasting more time. The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us.The food was also mediocre."

Also the airport was the biggest hinderance of getting to the gate and the airplane. After customs, to get to our gate we were told to wait in another line while they went through nearly every passenger again... And checked bags. Since it was taking so long they would let some go through without checking them. It was strange to say the least. We eventually left the gate late but made up for it in the air."

I stood downstairs for 2 hours trying to find my baggages, however, they never came where they were supposed to come out and I received 3 different answers on where they were. "They're at carousel 5," "you don't have to get them they will be checked to your final destination," no they're at carousel 3, so you can grab quickly and recheck upstairs." My bag wasn't at any of these places. I finally found a nice air Canada agent who took the time out of his day to actually go to the back and check on my bag to which he returned 10 minutes later with it. It was just "circling around back there" with nowhere to go. Had I not been persistent, my bag would not have made it to my final destination. I wish the story ended there but it does not. After a 5 hour wait, I sat at my gate which continued to say "American Airlines" I asked the gate if United Airlines flight was still leaving from there she just stated she "had no idea" frustrated, with no gate to go to with a flight leaving in 1 hour nobody seemed to know where our new flight was boarding. After 3 gate changes we were finally able to board our flight to D.C. I am sorely disappointment in both Air Canada and the YUL system. This would be my second time flying this way and both times I have had issues. It's too bad. I do not plan on doing so again."

I'm only 5'5" and I felt cramped, so I can't imagine how it would feel for someone taller. also, no one checked bags due to the newly imposed fee so everyone crammed their luggage into the overhead compartments and many of us had no room to store our carry-ons and had to put it below our seats, causing even less leg room. the Hawaiian airport also locked out the waiting area for international flights back to Vancouver due to some policy that the area must be locked down until the plane has arrived and everyone is off the plane. Many of us were sitting on the ground outside in the non-air conditioned hallway in front of the stores like homeless people for over 2 hours. Luckily seniors were sitting on wheelchairs and did not have to wait while standing or sitting on the ground. They finally let us in 20 minutes before boarding but really by then it made no difference."

I got to Toronto, and again we had to wait on the tarmac. They knew we were coming and were late as it was. Canadian air also knew I had to catch a flight to Tokyo. I thought my connection times were to close and I was right. No one told me that I had to go through international customs. So, I was in the wrong place.When I made that discovery I literally ran to customs and asked to cut in line. Again I ran to get to the gate. They were boarding when I arrived. Why I say did you put me through all that when it was avoidable? Then on the way back after a 14 hour flight I had a 6 hour delay to get back to Hartford. Why was that I ask? The same thing happened last year. And you didn t fix it yet? Nightmare. And lets not even talk about the food on the plane. I make sure I eat before the flight if I have time.In this case there was no time. I also had to change flight dates. I was on the phone for 1.5 hours on hold. Only to be told that I was calling the wrong place. So, that's my Air Canada experience. Some sort of cash or check rebate should be in order. Not a voucher to fly with them again."
