Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

Also the giant plane felt like it was hard to maneuver during take off and landing. I would very much prefer a smaller plane. The touch screen in front of me was not always responding when I tried to tap the screen. The audio jack was also not working great; sometimes I did not have audio in my right earbud and I had to turn and fidget the plug. The earbuds provided by the airline did not even work when plugged into the screen, I had to use my own earbuds."

Head flight attendant was wonderful.
Sat on the plane for hours only to Have the pilot time out and walk off the plane. Back up pilot showed up and the flight was canceled. No other flights to get me to My destination for 3 days. My luggage was still sent to my destination even though the flight was cancelled. Very bad experience with American Airline and I will do everything I can to never fly American Airlines again
The flight was fine. I didn’t have any food or drink, but I believe they offered the usual cookie or pretzels and standard beverages. The crew was very friendly. The seats - like seats on just about all airlines - are a bit cramped - but I was relatively comfortable and the plane was clean. I’d fly American again for sure.

When you check in they take your cell phone "in case " well no call no txt no nothing. Their business class on this Airbus flight was just Economy seats with the middle seat blocked off with a fixed table. No extra space at all. Food was ok but not worth the extra expense imo.
Ich wurde ungefragt umgebucht, hab meinen gebuchten Flug davon fliegen sehen, obwohl ich beim Boarding stand. Dort wurde mir nämlich gesagt ich sei jetzt in einem späteren Flieger und der wurde dann gecancelt. Bin in London gestrandet.
Gefallen hat gar nichts. In unserem Flieger saßen hinten eine Gruppe von offenbar betrunkenen Männern, die den ganzen Flug über und auch schon davor lautstark lachend "Gespräche" führten. Die Crew unternahm nichts. Man hätte erwarten können, dass da jemand mal was sagt. Sowas geht gar nicht. Eine Stewardess puhlte sich im Gespräch mit Fluggästen mit den Fingern in den Zähnen - ohne vorgehaltener Hand. Ekelig. Zudem hatte der Flieger fast eine Stunde Verspätung bei Abflug plus 15 min Verspätung beim rausgehen. Bereits an Board wurde uns gesagt, dass der Anschlussflug um 20.30 Uhr - für den wir 1 Std. 25 min Zeit hatten, verpasst wird und wir erst morgen früh weiter können und ein Hotel bekommen. Wir wurden dann zur Information von British Airways geschickt, wo wir fast eine Stunde gewartet haben, bis wir an die Reihe kamen zur Klärung wie es weiter geht. Dort sagte man u.a., wir bekommen ein Kitt mit Waschzeug, wenn wir unser Gepäck nicht ins Hotel bringen lassen. Das gab es dann aber doch nicht und war aus, wie wir an anderer Stelle erfuhren. Wir wurden mit einem Shuttlebus mit anderen Wartenden eine halbe Std. durch die gegend gekurvt, in ein Hotel gefahren. Dort haben wir 22.45 Uhr eingecheckt. Essen war damit auch gestrichen, da Küche bereits zu war. Auschecken war dann um 5.00 Uhr morgens. Hinfahrt mit Taxi, da Bus so früh zu Terminal 5 nicht fuhr. Fahrt für 23, Pfund für 10 min. mussten wir selbst bezahlen, da wir nur Bus-Gutscheine bekommen hatten. Aber dafür dann halbwegs ordentlicher Weiterflug um 7.00 Uhr, aber auch mit 15 min Verspätung. Fazit: Alles insgesamt eine einzige Katastrophe und nach Möglichkeit nie wieder British Airways. Entschädigungsforderungen folgen noch.
Am boarding pass hiess es Security wird am Terminal 1 in Wien sein. Leider bin ich den ganzen Weg hingegangen um nachher zu realisieren, dass es dich Terminal 3 war.
Nette Crew, schlechtes Catering. Business Class innereuropäisch lohnt sich nicht
There was no flight. Flights got cancelled. Kayak or British never informed us. I had to call so many times and wait hours to get to talk to someone. Made my vacation pretty bad. I still havent heard from anybody. No apologies, nothing. Just horrible!

Negativ: "Nach leichter Verspäung des vorangegangenen Fluges, gab es keinerlei Unterstützung, um zügig zum Anschlussflug zu gelangen, obwohl ich aktiv mehrere Mitarbeiter auf die Dringlichkeit eines schnellen Transfers angesprochen habe. Es gab kein Interesse zu Helfen, keine Entschuldigung und keine Erklärung. Beim Sannen der Bordkarte vorm Security Check wurde elektronisch angezeigt, dass ich mich an den Kiosk wenden sollte. Dort wurde ohne Worte, Erklärung, Entschuldigung oder Hilfe umgebucht und eine neue Bordkarte ausgedruckt. Solch ein Desinteresse an Unterstützung habe ich bisher noch nie erlebt. P.S. Ich spreche fließend englisch, es war also keine Sprachbarriere."

Positiv: "Das Flugpersonal war ok und der Flug war auch "Just in Time"."
Negativ: "Das Flugzeug bedürfte einer dringenden Generalüberholung. Viele Sachen war ausgeleiert, teilweise sogar zerfetzt. Der USB Connecter hing halber heraus. Eine Ablage im Mittelgang ging nicht mehr zu während des Fluges. Eine Stewardes hat dann mittels eines Schraubenziehers diverse Befestigungen nachjustiert, danach ging die Ablage wieder zu. Meine Frau hatte einen Rollstuhl für Heathrow bestellt, welcher bei der Ankunft nicht da war. Angeblich musste die Maschine ausserplanmässig an einem anderen Ort andocken. Das Handgepäck wird anscheinend nicht richtig geprüft beim Check-In. Mehrere Leute hatten so schwere Koffer dabei, dass sie 2 Leute brauchten um diese in die Ablage zu wuchten. Das Video-Angebot ist sehr dürftig und auch speziell für Deutsche Sprache kaum vorhanden. Auch die Screens sind absolut nicht mehr der technischen Möglichkeiten der Zeit entsprechen."
Negativ: "Our BA flight from Vienna to London was 30 minuets delayed and we almost missed our connection. BA crews and captain never apologized or explained the reason. They didn’t bother to check and announce the gate of major connection flights like some other airlines would do. They just said “Check the departure information board when you arrive.” We made to our AA flight only it happened to be in the same terminal."

Wartung würde sicher helfen, Fazit: 4 Flüge alle verspätet, 1 kompletter Tag verloren, ca. 2000 USD Kosten durch Notbuchungen von Hotels und neuen Anschlußflügen."

Sie sprach ein so schnelles und undeutliches Englisch, dass sie nicht bis gar nicht zu verstehen war."

Negativ: "This leg was so late...I was waiting in Calgary almost 7 hours... they put me on a different flight so I would make my connector in Toronto to Windsor....I originally had a 2 hour window. The second plane was so late, by the time I landed in Toronto, I had 10 minutes. Needless to say, after starting out in Kamloops at 6 am, that was missed also. Last leg missed as well, and had to wait another 4 hours for the last flight out. Just an incredibly frustrating trip"

Positiv: "Not enough food or options"
Negativ: "My flight was at 6 am and I fell ill with strep throat the morning of. I had not gotten flight cancellation insurance so I had no choice but to board the flight while feeling sick. The illness got rapidly worse and before I knew it I had a fever and was nauseous and dizzy and was overall feeling terrible. For the first half of the flight I tried to sit through it, but it became too much as I was squished into a middle seat and was overheating extremely due to the fever and started to get overwhelmed and felt claustrophobic. At this point I decided that I could not wait out the rest of the flight in this middle seat so I went to talk to the flight attendants to ask to be moved to a seat with more space. Now, I had not slept at all the night before (because I had to take the bus to the airport at 2 am) and felt very overwhelmed with being so sick and so when I went to talk to the flight attendant I started to cry and told them I was feeling claustrophobic and wished to be moved to a seat with more space because I was very ill. I emphasized that I was sick and had to repeat this many times, but the flight attendants seemed to think I was having an anxiety episode even though I repeated many times that I was very sick. It took them HALF AN HOUR to find me a new seat. I spent this time standing while I felt extremely dizzy like I was going to pass out. I feel the situation was handled very poorly. Two of your flight attendants started trying to counsel me on anxiety and seemed to completely disregard the fact that I was extremely ill and that was causing me to feel claustrophobic (to put things in perspective, I spent the next 3 days unable to move from my dads couch, unable to eat anything, and had to be taken to the hospital because I could not even drink water). The illness started right before I was getting on the plane and at the time of boarding I had no idea how quickly it would get so bad. As an example of how poorly this was handled, one of the flight attendants handed me a pen and told me to "name my anxiety, and why I was feeling anxious and to write reasons that this may make me feel anxious" it was ridiculous. Here I was, about to pass out I was so dizzy and it took them half an hour to find me a new seat (I understand that the flight was very full but there were empty seats available). I kept repeating, I feel dizzy, I feel nauseous, I'm very sick, I need to sit down, please find me a seat and they spent half an hour trying to give me a therapy session on anxiety. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and feel like it was dealt with terribly by the staff on board. When a customer says I'm very ill with a fever and it's causing them to feel claustrophobic and they need to be moved to a seat with more room, the staff should not spend half an hour trying to counsel them on anxiety while the customer is standing there about to pass out. This experience made me feel like I wish to avoid traveling with Air Canada in the future."

In waiting until everyone had exited the plane before being able to retrieve my bag, it completely defeated the purpose of the extra expenditure. perhaps boarding the rear of the plane first. regardless, my biggest concern was I felt like the flight attendant should have responded but elected to snub me. amazingly I lived to talk about it :-)"

Negativ: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning."
Positiv: "I appreciated that the plane left as scheduled, had plenty of legroom, and was attended by professional and gracious personnel."
Negativ: "THe previous flight that we took, on June 20th, from Las Vegas to Toronto, was cancelled at the last minute. As we had a tightly-scheduled flight to Amsterdam, we missed that connection. There was no notification given prior to the cancellation, just suddenly came up on the monitors at McCarren Airport. No explanation was offered. THe flight that we were transferred to arrived in Toronto too late to get us onto our Amsterdam flight, and so Air Canada personnel gave us vouchers for food and tried to book us a hotel room. We were ferried to 3 hotels, and turned away at all of them, an dwound up sleeping on the flor of the kid's area at TOranto Airport. we finally got to Amsterdam a day late.and had our trip upgraded to business class for our trouble. I have no quarrel with the treatment that we received from Air Canada personel. THey were very patient and gracious, in spite of a number of irate passengers in the same situation that we were in. However, the failure to have accomodations for stranded travelers was exemplary of poor planning on the part of administration, not personnel. I am really torn as to whether or not to use Air Canada again. WHen it is good, it is very good, but when iit is bad, it is the worst that I've ever experienced."
Positiv: "Great seats. Awesome in flight entertainment - got to watch two movies I'd missed in theaters. The food was surprisingly good and the flight attendants were very helpful."

Negativ: "The staff at check in were not overly helpful. We were running late and possibly going to miss our flight and they did not seem willing to help us out at all."

Negativ: "I was put in overbooking, and was concerned about not being able to get on the flight. Everything worked out fine in the end, but still did not appreciate this. Given the risk of not being able to board, I will likely not use this airline in the future."

Negativ: "Didn't pick up dinner trays, when they passed out breakfast, one lady didn't bother to hand out the napkin or the bottle of water to people, while the lady going down the other aisle did. Greasy pice of cake and no napkin, and a red eye flight and no water? I saw them on the cart, I guess it was just too much work to hand them out!!!"
Positiv: "Going it was great. Flew later a night and avoided the lines etc. hated that there was no movie and you had to rent iPads if you wanted to watch a a movie or anything."
Negativ: "Coming home was awful. Checked in early and our seats were by the bathroom, which it made impossible to sleep or even rest on a 6 hour flight. The que to go through security was crazy. Again the seat right next to the bathroom was awful. Bumping into by people trying to stand in line, the stewards trying to get through etc. I heard several people say they wouldn't fly Canada Air again."
Positiv: "Almost everything, from check-in, to boarding, the crew, comfort, food and entertainment were great. Was able to easily check-in from my mobile. Boarding was one hour early and gave everyone enough time (due to this, we left early about 15 minutes before actual departure time and arrived even earlier at about 40 minutes before actual arrival time). Whole crew was friendly except for one (see my other comments). Seats were comfortable and roomier compared to other airlines. Food was perfect. Did not feel hungry or bloated. Entertainment choices provided tons of movie and TV shows to choose from. Even the customs procedure at Toronto was very easy. I would fly Air Canada again to and from Tokyo. Thank you."
Negativ: "My flight was almost perfect except for one snafu. There was one flight attendant who gave me a broken plastic glass when I asked for apple juice. The juice was flowing out so fast that my aisle seatmate got drenched. He never offered any apologies and when my seatmate and I both asked for some extra napkins, he looked at us very rudely. It was a surprise as rest of the crew were very nice that I regret never getting his name to report here."

Negativ: "Its hard to sleep as the seat is very bench like. Air Canada's food isnt as generous as it use to be, but their fares are quite low so i guess its a tradeoff."
Positiv: "The Boeing airplane was either new or upgraded with plenty of in flight entertainment. In addition it was clean and fresh. The seats seemed to have more legroom than some I have flown. I could actually use my notebook on the tray stand. I was traveling on the same plane with my wife but we could only get separate seats. I decided to ask before boarding if they could put us together for such a long flight and they took my boarding pass and actually tried. The lady I checked in with was extremely gracious. She passed our info along to the head attendant on the flight who came and found us and told us she had found seats together. We had already done some seat switching with the kind people around us and managed to get together. The head attendant was happy for us."
Negativ: "Long flight, when we got close to Tel Aviv, a guy attendant who wasn't on my side yelled at me from the other ailse and scolded me for not being locked in 30 minutes ahead of time and threatened to write me up. He was red faced. The head flight attendant made a call over the intercom, I jumped up and started stowing my computer and he comes by 30 seconds later and literally yelled across the plane. He must have had to clean a bathroom up that someone let loose in. I looked on the flight time register on the screen when I was locked in and we were 35 minutes out. Not quite a rule breaker was I."
Flight delayed. Crew excellent. Airlines are struggling amid shortages of staff. Be prepared to have flights canceled or delayed.
Flights kept changing right up to the day before leaving—-finally requiring two connecting flights instead of one with all of us traveling alone to connect through a different city. The connecting flight changes were scheduled too close to the arriving flight time—-requiring another phone call and extremely long wait times to United. In all, we had to call United 6 times with flight changes THEY made. United and their partner companies (in our case Lufthansa) continually blamed the other provider for the scheduling problems. All flights we took on this trip were delayed. The flight staff was always good. The arrangements for the trip a nightmare.
United Airlines flight 1238 from Orlando to LAX on Friday night June 24, 2022 1. Flight was delayed two hours from late arrival caused by an earlier delay, resulting on my not being able to catch my connecting flight from LAX to Santa Barbara, and having to spend the night in Los Angeles. Fortunately I have a cousin who lives here and she was able to put me up. 2. My entertainment screen was not working. 3. An infant or young child in front of me had a course cough and was coughing frequently. He did not have a mascon, raising concerns about possibility of COVID-19. 4. Airline staff were professional and good, as was the pilot having to make a difficult landing in heavy fog.

Positiv: "Made up time lost to bad weather. Several announcements from pilot-I always like that. Makes me feel more personally cared for. "My friend the pilot is taking me there". That might explain how it makes me feel. Wish they did it more. Don't usually complain but below you will see I did."
Negativ: "Your headrest are especially cheap, plastic like, with little padding. Being in back row(no recline) would have been manageable if I could have leaned head to side to rest on something that extended out. Left too much light on (all down center) for an overnight flight. Served heavy dinner at 2am. Woke everyone up. Later light breakfast would have been more appropriate. Bathrooms reeked and waste bin overflow. Stewardess in back chatting. Don't they ever check?. They didn't seem to want to there."

Crew was not professional. After takeoff they never came around to see if anyone needed anything and not even a glass of water was offered for the entire flight. They didn’t even ensure that everyone wore seatbelts on landing - woman next to me was stretched out hugging her companion while landing wilth unbuckled seatbelt. Entertainment screen did not wirk properly."

Negativ: "I was late to my original flight and the United personal that I talked to at the gate was very rude. I asked if the plane was still boarding and all she said was go to customer service. I know I gave her a questioning look because this did not answer my original question. She repeated her statement again this time pointing. I would have preferred that she tell me that the flight had finished boarding but customer service could help me get on another flight. I feel that would have been more professional. My new flight was also an hour late"
