The entertainment choices were OK but the equipment was a bit ancient, my husband's screen ( we sat in the front where screen pulled out of the seat) was broken and was held by a duct tape(???!!!) The seats are small, I have flown with other companies on transatlantic flights and their seats are bigger and more comfortable in economy class."

When I called and asked if they would rebook me the lady on the phone said that she could rebook for a trip that had two layovers from 2pm(Prague time) to 8:30pm(NYC time) for the 24th of November (thanksgiving). When I asked her if there was anything else she said that was the soonest flight she could find. When I checked my self I found and booked a flight for the 23rd. When I called back they refused to give me a refund."

LHR-VIE was late; we ran and arrived in time catch VIE-KSC before it left, but Austrian Air would not allow us to board, despite that the other part of our travel party was already on the plane and alerted both gate staff and on-board staff we were coming and wee had to play a show that night with Arch Enemy. We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry"

This was a terrible trip & we will never use Austrian air again. I will tell all my family & friends of my terrible experience."

He calmed me down and drove me to the correct gate, talking the agent there to make sure it was the right one before he left me there. I wish I had time to get his name because he was very kind and helpful and I don't know what I would have done without him - wouldn't have made the flight, that's for sure. (He was in vicinity of gates F 3 - 13 on Sunday June 11 approximately 5:15 - 5:30pm Vienna time, if anyone wants to know)"
Negativ: "Our flight was delayed almost one hour. Even though I had only one hour between flights, I was told (in Split) that all flights would be delayed, so no worries. On the plane, they gave information for some flights; for the rest of us they just said, go to your gate (for connecting flight) as quickly as possible. Flight landed at 5:05pm. When I walked out of plane (I was using a cane; recovering from broken ankle so have some trouble walking distances), there was no board with flight info, just immigration. Finally I saw a flight board, and had 10-15 minutes walk still. Also, signage wasn't great. I called after an Austrian Airline flight attendant who was also leaving, but she never heard me. Finally I found the right direction, still had security to go through. I was running with the cane (not good for my ankle). Essentially there was no help. Until a man driiving one of those carts helped me - I write about him above in what I liked about the flight."

Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

There had been a two-hour delay for my flight in from Warsaw to Moscow, also for technical problems, on Friday July 13, 2018. Obviously, LOT needs to insure its planes are safe, but it needs to do so sufficiently in advance of take-off so that its passengers are not inconvenienced by lengthy delays."

Negativ: "The check in process lacked. I unexpectedly had to check my bag, they charged me 70 Euro ($85) which required I go to two separate counters. One to check the bag and a second (upstairs) to pay. Both attendants lacked a sense of urgency. In fact, they acted like it was their job to go as slowly as possible. Even after I mentioned I was starting to feel stressed about the time. I overheard other attendants complaining about customers who check in late and expect them to move more quickly. I found their apathy offensive. To add insult to injury, they lost my bags. Having paid $85, which I think is outrageously and obscenely expensive, I'd at least expect my bag to be well taken care of. Sadly, it wasn't. The lost luggage counter was also apathetic, though I realize they are not LOT/Luftansa."

So obviously it took a long time to get all those people through the check and we departed very late. Then sat on the tarmac for an hour and forty five minutes. The pilot said it would be 15 minutes and then never gave another update beyond that, which made it much worse."

Positiv: "The crew was nice and courteous. Many amenities to pass the time. Getting off the plane was quick and painless. Food was reasonable."
Negativ: "The flight was delayed an hour, which is fine, but no information was given to why and we started boarding at the updated takeoff time. The process of getting zones lined up and on the plane was a mess. They didn't communicate clearly about zones so every passenger got up and in line, lines weren't directed well, and people kept getting chastized for not knowing what was going on. Once we boarded the plane, we sat for an hour with no reasoning why we waited. When you already have a 9 hour flight, less time stuck in your seat is best. It was hard to understand the pilot when he spoke in English to know why we had delays and any updates while on the plane."

I am a very picky eater but 3 of my 4 meals were delicious!! They mostly serve pasta with some sort of meat but I noticed that myself and I were licking our plates clean!"
Negativ: "It was VERY obvious that the people that work for this company REALLY hate their jobs. When I checked in they were rude and threatened to take my computer because they told me I couldn't bring it into the US. When I got back home to customs they laughed and told me that that isn't true at all. In the flights the stewards and stewardess' never smiled, they hardly made eye contact and just seemed to absolutely hate life. At one point I was so hungry so I asked to purchase some pringles because that was something that advertised on the loud speaker. When I asked the flight attendant she made the biggest deal about it, laughed in my face and basically told me no. To be honest I am not sure if this sort of a attitude is something that is part of a different culture but I feel that if people are in the service industry that they should at least smile and respond with, "you're welcome" when someone says, "thank you". I will 100% not take this airline again due to the very rude people one board and horrible customer service."

That doesn't work well as we are on vacation and have plans/appointments to be out all day. I'm not sure if I'll ever see my bag again. Avoid this airline if possible. Also boarding is odd as you have to take a bus to the plane, which is slow, extremely crowded, and inefficient."

Positiv: "The crew was accommodating. There were friendly and helpful. My upgraded food was good and served hot."

Positiv: "The fact I could get off the plane quickly. And that was it."
Negativ: "Boarding-crowded people with very poor management. No separate queue for status members (in theory there was but you had to fet through lone of people anyway). Pushy selling gate upgrades for ridiculous prices. Flight was almost full so I asked for an upgrade but obviously was refused (which doesn't really surprise me) but when I asked if there would be any discount for StarAlliance gold status member they said of course... Not. Plane was disgusting and filthy. My traytable was dirty underneath and I had to clean it myself as crew did not respond for 7 call bells over around 60 minutes. A/C vents were dirty and there were clusters of dusts visible. One of my co-passengers was a dead bug between the inner and outer window. First drinks were served after 1.20h and food 2.50h. You can only get cheap wine or beer for free. If you fancy not-so-fancy Gin and tonic you need to pay separately for both. Entertainment was very limited. No WiFi. With my breakfast I got a piece of foil packaging served in-between leaves. Food was edible but of a quality of convenience store ready meal. Only 2 cabin crew were nice and competent. Rest was total opposite. LOT should call they B787 a Dreamfailure or Nightmareliner rather than a Dremliner."

Negativ: "They cancel my flight on the way back to NY and we was delay on the way to kiev it wasn't any weather issue or anything was clear day and when you try to talk to them they giving attitude and talking nasty and the hotel that we got was like an homeless shelter"

Negativ: "The reclining button of the seat wasn't working properly"

Positiv: "Hot food for dinner, snack 2 hrs before arriving, beverage service several times throughout the flight. Mimimulist at best for quality. Flight attendants mostly no smile but they work hard throughout the almost 9 hrs from Wasaw to JFK. Tight seating in economy with lower prices then competition they still have to be making a profit on a nearly full flight on a Boeing 787."
Negativ: "Boarding is Business class then the last 15 rows. Not a good process with people stopping everywhere to put luggage into the overhead bins. No wonder they start boarding 40 min. Prior to push back."
