Positiv: "at RDU after they missed to notify me in time, they were very nice to find me the fastest route on the next day, not miss my whole conference . They give me food vulture also. most of the flying attendances were really kind under my travel, except on the MUC-IAD plane"
Negativ: "They didn't notify me in time on a delay and didn't suggested a different route. Therefore I was able to flew just the following day as my connection to the oversea flight was more then an hour delay. It happened with me flying to Budapest, and also flying back from Budapest. Make you better understand, that does it mean for me: in Budapest I missed the first part of my conference, and with the flying back one day later I lost one payed work day. As I have family in Budapest I decided to stay for the night there, and not at Munich, but just rescheduling my flight and providing me a taxi drive was so complicated, that it took two and half extra hrs at the airport, Also Lufhansa put me in my rescheduled back trip the MUC-IAD flight on the 45C seat, what was the worst seat on the plane. Not just that. When they have plenty of empty seat in all of the section, and they wanted to sell it the economy plus seats for more than hundred dollars, I mentioned to the fight attendance my misery ,and how I don't like the seat what I got, and she laughed on me, and I heard her telling her colleagues,this kind of funny way as they were behind me. That's no how they need to treat passenger, Also on flying back they didn't react fast, and they missed to put me on the Frankfurt plane, what could be an alternative route, on the same day, instead they sent me desk to desk."

Ich habe 1-1/2 Stunden vergeblich versucht jemanden der Lufthansa telefonisch zu erreichen, um meinen Flug umzubuchen. Es ist mir dann gelungen, auf meinem Handy den Flug auf eine andere Route, einen Tag später als ursprünglich gebucht umzubuchen, aber ich habe dann meine "preferred" Sitze und mein extra Gepäckstück, für die ich bezahlt hatte, verloren. Spät Abends habe ich dann, nach 30 Minuten bei der Lufthansa eine Dame erreicht, die mir dann "preferred" Sitze zugeteilt hat. Auf die Frage, ob meine Bezahlung für ein extra Gepäckstück auch anerkannt würde, bat sie mich in der Warteschleife kurz zu warten, aber nach weiteren 45 Minuten in der Warteschleife gab ich auf. Am nächsten Morgen, beim einchecken, waren meine "preferred" Sitze anderweitig vergeben und ich musste mich damit abfinden, trotz ursprünglicher Aufzahlung, im hinteren Teil des Flugzeuges zu reisen. Ich nehme sehr stark an, zum letzten Mal mit der Lufthansa, es gibt ja auch andere. Durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten, bin ich nicht die Route Porto - München - Graz geflogen, sondern einen Tag später, Porto - Frankfurt - Graz. Eine Vergütung für eine durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten erzwungene extra Übernachtung, habe ich nicht bekommen."

The crew were all excellent, friendly, and accommodating. There was plenty of entertainment options, refreshments, and snacks. The food was very good-much better than I'd expected. I appreciated that there were pillows, blankets, and headphones readily available as well. I'll try to fly Lufthansa every chance I get when flying internationally."

Negativ: "The quality of food was pitiful, not to say gross, in the economy class. I'm comparing Lufthansa to other European airlines and to what Lufthansa used to be. Alcohol was of the most basic quality. Yes, I know, it was economy class, but it's gone down. Entertainment was hardly better. No new movies and the variety of what was available was poor. Lastly, the choice of seats in the tail (of 747-8) was poor judgment on my part. We were being wagged like fleas on the dog's tail. The only good part was that due to the narrowing of the plane we had two seats and no neighbor to jump over, plus extra room between the window seat and the window. The end of highlights. Can't help but compare every airline to Turkish airlines, where even in the economy class they make you feel like royalty. These people know how to do hospitality and make you want to come to their country."

Positiv: "Overall the flight was mostly fine. It was a huge plane, but boarding and exiting were efficiently handled by the crew. The seats were comfortable and there was sufficient leg room. Meals were totally acceptable for an international flight, and the complimentary booze was immensely appreciated."
Negativ: "My biggest gripe, however, was with the malfunctioning entertainment system directly in front of my wife's seat. The screen intermittently flickered on and off, and would go black for long streches of time. Kudos to the attentive crew for trying their best to fix the device during the flight, but their efforts did not solve the problem. It was disappointing not to have a working entertainment system for such a long international flight--it would have made the experience much more comfortable and enjoyable."

No turbulence occurred so drink service began-- stewardesses did not ensure the plastic cups were attached to trolley securely and so they fell all over us and on the ground--me and some other passengers helped to pick them off the floor-- they said thank you and used the cups on the floor for passengers drinks. Um....no thanks-please get new cups!"

We complained to the attendant about it but she was unable to determine the cause. Many hours later, a different crew member identified the noise source and stopped it by simply flipping a switch. This disruptive noise could have easily been avoided but the ignorance of the crew member to whom we complained failed to solve it. By the time the second crew member identified the problem there was not enough time to sleep. This experience was extremely disappointing. We paid extra to fly business class so we could sleep, but this ridiculous crew error fouled our plans. We asked the crew to file a report about it and they did. Look into it. We expect a refund of the extra fare we paid, or else we will never fly Austrian Airlines again. I am an affluent person and I travel internationally 6 times per year. You would be smart not to anger me and lose my business."

Negativ: "We booked Austrian Airlines to Kosice for 6 to play a concert for 3,000 on Thursday night. 4 of our group arrived from ZRH; 2 from LHR. LHR-VIE was late; we ran and arrived in time catch VIE-KSC before it left, but Austrian Air would not allow us to board, despite that the other part of our travel party was already on the plane and alerted both gate staff and on-board staff we were coming and wee had to play a show that night with Arch Enemy. We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry"

However, I missed the experience of enjoying the flight with the group of people that I joined on the way to Vienna and to Egypt."
Negativ: "I didn't like the fact that they cancelled my Austrian flight to a completely different company (Lufthansa). I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

I inquired about paying to change destination city and or seat to a premium seat (for the 9+ hour flight) when I recvd the reservations for the new flights that were made at the airport around 8am for flights that left at around noon and 3pm. I was told no better seat(s) was available. However, a half hour before the flight was boarded several announcements were made regarding all the upgrades that were available. Liars annoy me."

Negativ: "I was an hour and 15 minutes before my flight from Munich to Berlin. Patiently waited in the line for 15-20 minutes to check in. There were only 2 agents and line was slow. In the end they called for people flying to Valencia and Berlin to come forward. About 20 of us moved up the line. They were checking in people flying to both those destinations. When it was my turn they said they stopped checking in for Berlin because it is closed. Myself and at least 5 other passengers behind me were shocked. Meanwhile they continued to check in people flying to Valencia. At this time there was only one agent. I insisted I speak to someone who can help us make alternate arrangements. While some people were upset, one raised his voice and girl was screaming and crying, I patiently asked for someone to help us as it was their mistake they couldn't book us in efficiently. At this point a clerk from a nearby airline counter came to help and she was basically shooing us to a ticket counter on the opposite side. When I checked those ticket counters they had nothing to do with Transavia. They were basically selling tickets on other airlines for €250-300 for a one way ticket. So I came back to the counter and requested I speak to someone. Btw...all this time the Transavia clerk spoke to me only in German even if I had repeatedly stated I don't speak German. I waited patiently for 15 minutes then cops showed up. Basically she had called the cops to remove me from that location. It was shocking way to deal with customer complaints even if the airline is at fault. The cops didn't speak any English either, I tried to take a picture of the situation but the cop was getting angry. I didn't want to be there any longer as the previous few days ago there was a terror incident in a mall in Munich. I just didn't want to to continue being there even if I deserved a better treatment and it was their mistake in the first place. My advice. Never fly Transavia. I won't. In fact this was a big lesson for me not to pick tickets because it is cheaper by 50 bucks. Deeply disappointed but learned a valuable lesson."

I sat on the aircraft for over an hour waiting for all passengers who were late to board before we could take off. I missed an important appointment because of this. The crew was rude about this and every single thing on the plane / related is extra cost. Zero stars."

Negativ: "Customer service was pretty bad. 1. Attempted to pick adjacent seats with my companion during online check-in -> "A technical error occurred". OK I'll do this at the counter 2. At the counter: "I'm sorry the plane is full. There are no adjacent empty seats left". 3. At another counter: "I'm sorry I'm not allowed to change seats here" 4. On board: Plenty of adjacent empty seats. We were able to sit together despite the airline's conspiracy against it. They also charged us 30 Euro because our *carry-on* bags were 2.5 kg over 10. One of the two toilets on board was broken."

Negativ: "Transavia - as opposed to my alternative on this route (Ryanair) - still has a strict 1 piece of hand luggage policy. Now that Ryanair has abolished this rule and allows a carry-on suitcase + a small handbag / laptop bag etc. This really makes a difference in travelling comfort so I expect Transavia to follow soon."

Ende 40) dabei waren, und nicht nur blutjungen Damen wie bei vielen anderen Fluggesellschaften, was für einen gleichberechtigten Arbeitgeber spricht!"
Negativ: "Mobile ticket ist noch nicht vorhanden. Check-in nur innerhalb 24 Stunden und nicht früher. Es wird wirklich nur ein Handgepäckstück per Gast erlaubt (bei Easyjet sind es ein Handtrolley und eine kleine Laptoptasche oder Handtasche)."

Positiv: "If I can give this airline negative stars, I would."
Negativ: "Lack of communication. Lack of sympathy. Lack of knowledge. From the beginning, I wasn’t given the boarding pass to my connecting flight nor was I informed as to why. When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."

When it was finally time to land, we briefly touched down before going back up into the air and circling for an additional half hour because another plane was at our gate. The quick up-and-down caused at least two passengers near me to vomit. I’ll try my best to avoid Eurowings in the future."

Negativ: "Check in und Kofferabgabe auf dem Flughafen Heraklion war mühselig. Erst zum Ende des Check in wurden weitere Schalter geöffnet. Koffer müssen selbst vom Check in (Waage) anschließend noch zur Durchleuchtung gebracht werden. DutyFree im Flughafen ist teuer im Flieger ok."

Negativ: "The flight was delayed. Then, after flying to Berlin, the staff said we couldn't land there because of weather. They decided to fly us to Leipzig-Halle (another city a two hour drive away) and said they would provide busses to take us back to Berlin. But then, when we got to Leipzig, they said oh we might be able to fly you back to Berlin, just let us refuel. So we all sat in the plane for an hour and a half while they did that. Then, they announced that they couldn't go back to the Berlin airport because there were too many planes landing there. So they told us to get off the plane, go into the arrival hall and we would get more information there. When we got out of the plane, we were greeted by an information lady who informed us that no trains were running at that hour (it was about 11:30pm), and Eurowings would not provide us with accommodation or transportation back to Berlin. The information staff told us that our options were to personally pay for either a taxi back to Leipzig (two hours away!) or rent a car, or wait until morning to take a bus or train. I was able to stay with a friend in the city, and paid to take a bus to Berlin the next day, but what about everyone else who didn't know people in Leipzig and had to fend for themselves? As a young woman traveling by myself in a foreign country, landing in an unexpected city in the middle of the night, it could have been a potentially dangerous situation. I am extremely frustrated with Eurowings. I paid them to take me to Berlin, and they didn't. I talked to customer service on the phone, and they told me that I should make my own travel plans to return to Berlin and they would reimburse me later. Aside from the fact that there weren't buses, trains or flights running till the next morning - I shouldn't have to make my own travel plans! My plans were to fly Eurowings from Duesseldorf to Tegel, and they should be responsible for getting me there. I am never flying Eurowings again, and sharing the story with any friends who travel in Europe. They absolutely do not care about their customers."

And, while I understand that it isn’t possible to cater for all allergies on a short flight, there are enough people with food intolerances to have a few options other than wheat based snacks."

Positiv: "We missed this flight, so there was really nothing to like. However, the lady at the Swiss help desk was extremely kind and helpful in finding us an alternate flight."
Negativ: "When I booked the itinerary clearly stated that this would be a Swiss Air flight. We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

The passengers who paid extra for snacks with the ticket were served first and even after I said my ears were hurting and I needed something sweet to chew on (I was going to buy something to eat anyway) I wasn't served till roughly 75 minutes into the flight. The crew was inconsiderate towards passengers who bought economy seats and was focusing only on passengers who paid extra for seats and snacks. If that's the case then they should stop serving other customers anyway and tell us beforehand so that we can arrange our own food/drinks from the airport lounge"

Wirklich ärgerlich war der Umstand, dass erst 8 Minuten vor der Landung die Gelegenheit für den Getränke-kauf geboten wurde. Ebenfalls sehr ärgerlich ist der Umstand, dass die Handtasche als Gepäckstück zählt. Im Flieger muss dann wieder ausgepackt werden um das Handy abzustellen und die Medikamente heraus zu nehmen."

Negativ: "Kein Platz mehr für Handgepäck. Auf dem Hinflug ist eine Handtasche erlaubt, auf dem Rückflug auf einmal nicht mehr. Nach dem Umpacken dann gar kein Handgepäck mehr."

Thankfully, I had not purchased an overprice "legroom" seat. I couldn't spot any on the plane. No food or drinks whatsoever available. Next time, i'd rather spend the extra £s and use a proper airline."

Negativ: "Easyjet always overbooks and was late leaving causing us to get in at 1:30am on a flight that was supposed to leave at 9:35pm. They overbook and forced us to out our carry ons in the hold, further delaying us when we landed and had to run to catch the last train out of Gatwick. Their one bag only policy is rubbish. Even Ryanair allows a carry on and laptop bag. This forces customers to have to overstuff their carry ons. The only way to get an extra bag is to pay, and over my dead body am I paying for what every other airline provides free of charge. If I have to extoll the virtues of Ryanair on here, you know you're doing something wrong. The ground staff is absolutely rude and had an altercation with my partner over checking our bags, only to find out they don't even represent Easyjet! So they clearly don't care about customer service since the airline isn't even employing them. Please have staff who are trained to deal with customers support you and who actually work for your airline, otherwise, why would they care?! I will try and avoid flying with Easyjet if at all possible. Garbage policies, constant lateness and terrible ground staff."

Positiv: "I was a little frantic checking in to this flight but the ladies working at easyJet made the experience so much better. They were helpful and kind at a time I really needed it most. I really can't thank them enough."

Positiv: "We purchased the EasyJet Plus seats (an add on). Lets you board early to stow carry on bag and simply made it an easier trip. Much like mileage plus advantages. Staff were excellent, all of them, gate attendants, flight crew. Will fly EasyJet again."
Negativ: "Paying for coke and coffee. Silly business, we chose not too. I expect to pay for alcohol bevs, not for water, coke, tea, coffee, etc."

Somit haben sich auch die anderen Abfahrten verzögert und ich bin gut zwei (2) Stunden später am Zielort eingetroffen. Schade. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und auch die Gepäckausgabe funktionierte optimal, d.h. zügig und ohne Schaden."
