I was ready to start crying loudly myself, wondering if anyone would pay attention to that. We ordered special meals online but were served regular ones. When I told the attendant that we should be getting special meals, he peevishly and defensively said "you should have told me". These meals are normally served without any special prompts, so I have no idea why he was so angry with me! The crew practically hid from all the crying babies and was avoiding our section of the plane for around six hours. No water served, no one checking on anything. Lastly, my suitcase was cracked and needs to be discarded. altogether: a horror."

Es ist mir dann gelungen, auf meinem Handy den Flug auf eine andere Route, einen Tag später als ursprünglich gebucht umzubuchen, aber ich habe dann meine "preferred" Sitze und mein extra Gepäckstück, für die ich bezahlt hatte, verloren. Spät Abends habe ich dann, nach 30 Minuten bei der Lufthansa eine Dame erreicht, die mir dann "preferred" Sitze zugeteilt hat. Auf die Frage, ob meine Bezahlung für ein extra Gepäckstück auch anerkannt würde, bat sie mich in der Warteschleife kurz zu warten, aber nach weiteren 45 Minuten in der Warteschleife gab ich auf. Am nächsten Morgen, beim einchecken, waren meine "preferred" Sitze anderweitig vergeben und ich musste mich damit abfinden, trotz ursprünglicher Aufzahlung, im hinteren Teil des Flugzeuges zu reisen. Ich nehme sehr stark an, zum letzten Mal mit der Lufthansa, es gibt ja auch andere. Durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten, bin ich nicht die Route Porto - München - Graz geflogen, sondern einen Tag später, Porto - Frankfurt - Graz. Eine Vergütung für eine durch den Streik der Lufthansa Piloten erzwungene extra Übernachtung, habe ich nicht bekommen."

On the trip over, the entire row of seats did not have the monitors working and the light could not be turned off (bright error screen on the entire 7 hour flight. After being stuck in New York (reasons beyond Delta's control so we are understanding of that) however the Delta airport crew (3 different sources, continued to give us the wrong information resulting in us staying in the airport an additional 2 hours after everyone else had left. Finally went to a 4th person who was able to resolve the issue within 5 minutes. This was the worst flight experience in my entire 50 years on earth. The level of incompetence with some of the Delta airport staff is beyond excusable. Even after our issue was resolved, the worse two of the lot were still giving out wrong information to passengers telling them there were no hotels in ALL OF NEW YORK and they would have to stay in the airport."

Given that it was not our mistake that bag fee should have been waived....very poor customer service to people who have flown TAP many times........"

You have to special request it, unlike most other carriers. This is stated nowhere in the booking process. Even the salad had meat."

No chairs for elderly, for example--or allowing us to go back to waiting room."

Why did the customs guy not take that paperwork, eliminating a line and paying some guy to collect passport photos????"

And #2, I guess it wasn't tight enough in those seats and even though I'm over 6 ft, the staff had to make it tighter. Also, when it was time to land, I thought my seat was all the way up. It was not fully all the way up. I was half asleep, and all of sudden, instead of telling me, one of the flight attendant pushed on the button to raise my seat. I would've appreciated him telling me. The landing was delayed, but that's no ones fault at rouge. I am trying to be as objective as I can. Hopefully, when (and if) someone at Air Canada-Rouge reads this, he or she has enough "pull" at the company to ask the proper authorities:"what kind of company are we? Are we a bargain basement flight company that offers just basic flights for extremely low prices? Or are we an average flight company that offer great value for the money the customer pays?" Because, from my perspective as a customer who is at his second experience with Air Canada-Rouge, the feeling that I get from flying with you guys, is that your company offers basic flights that doesn't offer great value for the money. It's more a company that "plays on both fields", taking what suits them, and leaving what doesn't , regardless of their customer. I understand that a company has to make money. It's normal. But, at a certain point, don't you have to think about your customers? To be honest, the only reason I flew with Air Canada-Rouge is that I was stuck with no other choices but to fly with you (schedule, cost, etc.) And I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. The feeling that I get, is that your company counts on customer like me. Customers that are "stuck", with no other alternatives. If your company wants to offer many "cheap direct flights" like Ryanair and Easyjet offer in Europe, I have 2 suggestions: #1: lower your prices. #2 :your staff should be more customer friendly savvy. Because those 2 companies, that's what they offer. Always remember: you can put a lot of maple syrup on a pile of sh***t, it still won't taste like pancakes. Thank you."

I logged on through Kayak, and no mention of flight being cancelled, so my family (including a 6 month old) showed up to the airport to our surprise we were there for over 5.5.hours. It took over an jour to check us in, as our carry=on bag was 1 pound over & we needed to shuffle things around, and it turned out my infant son was not registered in the Air Canada system. The gentlemen (wasn't so gentlemen like) in helping us. Very rude. To our surprise, the 1 lb luggage could have easily been pass through noting there were perhaps 50 people on flight. The plane was empty. On our return back from Montreal, we walked in 2.5 hours in advance to witness an Air Canada employee yelling at a passenger. I'm not one to complain but this was unacceptable. & she should be removed from her client facing position. In addition to this, I am all for young professionals however the flight attendant crew wasn't what I would consider a productive staff. It took over 2.5 hours for food & then water to be served. On a night flight, we would expect lights to be dimmed, this was not the case until 11:05 p..m. which lasted a whole 20 minutes as we prepared for landing,. Try putting an infant to sleep when lights keep flickering, & not to mention, they seemed to have loved the intercom. Its as if they were on it every few minutes with hourglass speeches. Overall, very disappointing. We tried AC from our regualr American as we had been frustrated with the latter, and prices were higher but after our holiday trip, I must admit AA isnt bad after all and the difference in price is well worth it. Saddens me when I would love to support a Canadian based company (being canadian), but cannot justify with the poor client experience my family and I just suffered."

When we finally landed at Lauderdale, we were told there was no gate - surely they would have known this when we took off from Ottawa!? We sat waiting for at least 45 minutes before having access to the gate. Beyond frustrating when we were already late and inconvienced!"

Rouge charges for baggage fee, no tv's on board (you can only rent an ipad for $10), less leg room, run out of food options often, sucks if you're in the back."
Positiv: "On December 20th I flew from Vienna to Toronto. It was the first time I flew with AA. I fainted a couple ours into the flight and the cabin crew took care of me and made sure I was okay for the remainder of the flight. We also made it to Toronto half an hour early! Would fly again!"

Ich hatte einen freundlichen Helfer am Schalter, aber sein Supervisor hat mich dann ohne zu Fragen einfach irgendwie umgebucht, z.B. ein Tag später, dann mit Übernachtung irgendwo. Die Flüge am selben Tag wurden zuerst gar nicht berücksichtigt, bis ich dann online selber gesucht habe. Schlussendlich hat mir ein Mitarbeiter der Lufthansa geholfen noch einen Flug am gleichen tag zu bekommen. Mein Gepäck ist bis jetzt 48h später noch nicht aufgetaucht. Gesamthaft für United ein sehr schlechter Service!!!"

Negativ: "There were not one but two dogs on the flight which I had an allergic reaction to. Thank goodness I travel with extra allergy medication in my purse. The owner of the dog in front of me keep insisting the dog was hypoallergenic. What matters is my reaction or the person who is allergic reaction to the dog's dander even if they claim it's a hypoallergenic dog. Once I had a severe reaction on a United flight and the cat was no where near me, but the air is circulating so I has to take benadryl. There should be some consideration for people who have health concerns without making the customer feel like we are a problem."

Veraltete Sitze die zwar breit aber unbequem sind. Völlig veraltetes Entertainment System, mit gerade einmal acht Filmen, keine Pausefunktion, keine Möglichkeit zurückzuspulen, Bildschirm ist schlanke 12 Zoll groß. Bordtoilette war alt und schlecht gepflegt."

Negativ: "I was very upset that the gate agent stated that the overhead bins were full and that I would need to check my carry on bag, which i did. However upon boarding the plane, there were multiple overhead bins that were actually empty. I do not appreciate being lied to by the gate agent and being forced to check my bag when there was plenty of overhead bin space available. Moreover, I waited for nearly 30 minutes for my then checked bag to come through the baggage carousel after deplaning. This is far too long to have to wait for a bag after a 5.5 hour flight, especially when it was a carry on bag I was forced to check despite there being ample room in the overhead bins. Very disappointing and unnecessary aggrevation. Additionally, there was some slight turbulence during the flight for which the captain turned on the seat belt sign and everyone was requested to return to their seats. A few minutes later there were still some people standing in the aisles waiting to use the restroom, at which point a female flight attendant came on the intercom and stated, "I will try to make this as simple as possible for you to understand..." She then carried on explaining in a very rude and sarcastic tone the safety reasoning behind asking the standing passengers to return to their seats. While her frustration with people not returning to their seats was understandable, her tone of voice and sarcastic demeanor was not professional, and quite unappreciated. My overall experience with United could have been much more pleasant but for these instances. I feel these couple of bad experiences could have been easily prevented which would have led to a much more enjoyable experience with United. Unfortunately, because of these things, I will think twice about flying with United in the future."

Keine Serien etc. for free. Mein Fazit: Fliegen in den USA ist für den Europäer gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dabei sind die Preise für die Flüge nun nicht ungewöhnlich günstig, als dass das die ganzen zahlungspflichtigen Services rechtfertien würde..."
