The entertainment choices were endless, but because it had USB and regular power, I was able to work on my laptop and listen to my podcasts on phone without worrying about running out of battery."

The amenities kit was a bit on the cheap side. Also, only the supplied two prong headphones could be used with the entertainment system, I would have preferred an option to use my high end ones -- this was the main reason I chose to just work and listen to my own music/podcasts instead of watching a movie. We boarded and disembarked through the business sections and the aisles were too narrow. The announcements were hard to hear and the temperature was set too low for half of the flight (to kept fluctuating requiring constant adjustment of blanket/jacket). Having said that will keep flying them."

We bought the ticket November 11 it did not say we needed to get tested before flying When we went to check in there was a long line because a lot of people that was flying out did not know also about getting tested before flying Eva employees said that this protocol started December 1st if that’s the case why didn’t they email travelers that bought tickets before December 1st And let them know that covid19 test needed. Also at check in we were inline for 2 hours just to let us know we couldn’t fly out they should have a Monitor saying “ ATTENTION PASSENGERS IF YOU DON’T HAVE COVID-19 TEST RESULTS IN HAND YOU CANNOT A BOARD.” So that people didn’t half to stay in line for so long."

I’m not going to the detail of not having my passport (I never left my passport before). They are cheaper from competitors for a reason. No heart here at all. Accident is not acceptable."

They were always pleasant and had a smile on their face. When my trip was changed by the website (vayama) to fly back to the states, EVA Airlines went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care, placed on another flight, and made it home to get to work the next day. They didn’t have to take care of me, but the did and the professionalism is amazing! I’m very pleased with this airline and will fly with them again!"

Overall not so good but another flight I took, widebody (A330) service, has seat-back TV and so is more tolerable."

Positiv: "The aircraft felt clean and quite spacious (decent legroom). Cabin crew was friendly and everything went as expected. Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."
Negativ: "Very odd queue separation at boarding. Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Luggage handling. Arrived in Johannesburg without my luggage. Communication regarding lost luggage is basically non-existent.
Made me check a bag that I have carried onto hundreds of flights . Caused me to miss my connection in Paris because I was flying a different airline and my bags didn’t transfer . The agent was rude and refused to listen. My mother who was three people in front of me in another line Carried the same bag on with no issues . Be consistent

Positiv: "Upgrade was easy! Crew was beyond exceptionable! Can’t wait to fly again, guys!"
Positiv: "There is a nothing to mention that was memorable or comfortable."
Negativ: "I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."
Negativ: "They forced me to ceck my trolley because i had a suit with me!!! And the airplane wasn’t even full. Even worst they allowed some pieces of “hand luggage” that were double the maximum allowed size"

Negativ: "Flug kommt Mitten in der Nacht in Paris an. Da die Verbindung zum Anschlussgate noch geschlossen war, mussten wir formal nach Frankreich einreisen um zum Gate nach München zu kommen. Dort darf man sich im ungeheiztem Gate noch mindestens 2 Stunden die Zeit vetreiben."

They will be hearing from me."

Negativ: "The flight was very late. I lost my connection. My bag was lost and unable to recover it so far (after more than 24 hours). About to initiate the next leg of the trip with no clothes or any idea if my luggage will be recovered."

Positiv: "Das Flugpersonal in der Businessclass war toll, das Essen und der Wein sehr ansprechend."
Negativ: "The company simply lets passengers board a fulled booked flight with far too much luggage. Result, take off 20 minutes late because there was not enough room for luggage in the overhead compartments. I was flying with just a small backpack that went under the seat"
Positiv: "Der Flug ist wegen Schlechtwetter abgesagt worden. Dagegen kann man nichts sagen. Aber...."
Negativ: "Das wir zum umbuchen über zwei Stunden in einer Schlange stehen müssten war eine Zumutung."
Positiv: "Pünktlich, sehr unkompliziertes Boarding, nettes Personal. Ich bin mehr als bespannte am Zielort angekommen. Gerne wieder."
